My doctor submitted a referral to NSM IN 2025 for a replacement electric wheelchair, I've done everything asked of me to obtain this desperately needed medical device. I am suffering severe Hemiplegia following a 2015 Hemorrhagic stroke and cannot function safely without adequate mobility aids. NSM has issued me two prior Medi-CAL covered power wheelchairs , the last being stolen from my front porch in July of 2025, it should of been a simple product replacment as my condition has not changed in the 11 years since my stroke. All that has changed is my medical coverage transitioning from Medi-cal to Medicare following my 65 birthday. Ive personally logged 5 medical in person contacts, a half dozen insurance queries and 9 document transmittals Followed by 43 telephone follow-ups to primary care providers, Physical therapy providers, Medi-cal and Medicare insurance providers and ultimately my Durable Medical Equipment provider (National Seating and Mobility ) . Still, here I sit 10 months after my wheelchair was stolen from my home, renting for $ 200 a month a much used wheelchair from a private vendor. $200 not covered by any insurance companies, but by taking away from $1,233.41 Social security check that is my only income and has drastically diminished my quality of living. National Seating & Mobility Team, I would like to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to National Seating & Mobility and the incredible team who delivered and assembled my daughter's bed. I especially want to recognize John, who truly went out of his way to ensure that my daughter's bed could be brought upstairs safely. I am also incredibly thankful to Luis and Justice, who arrived at our home and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was set up properly, as well as Sylvia, who helped make all of this possible through coordination and care. When my daughter's bed arrived, we were in a very difficult situation. Her room is upstairs, and our staircase made it extremely challenging to get the large boxes up safely. I was told that, in a worst-case scenario, the bed might not be able to be set up at all--which would have meant my daughter sleeping on the floor. This was all happening the day before Christmas Eve. Because of this amazing group of people working together, coordinating, and going above and beyond what was expected, my daughter was able to sleep in her bed. Their compassion, determination, and willingness to problem-solve made a world of difference for our family during an incredibly stressful moment. Service service and customer service. They are the most incompetent worthless work force in California. My mom is a paraplegic and bed ridden and is incapable to do anything without her wheel chair. She had her doctor put in the RX as requested to fix her electric wheelchair since June. Needless to say. The part apparently ordered have never been ordered. This is September. I don't understand why this is the only company that can fix her wheelchair and be covered by insurance. This is ridiculous!!! Have left several message for the manager Mark and no replies. I have been working with NSM, Redlands for nearly 6 months to facilitate diagnosis and repair of my power wheelchair. We have gone thru 3 long cycles of diagnosis, quotes, referrals, funding and delivery, each resulting in an incorrect answer. Meanwhile since NSM did not loan me a chair I have had to rent one. My chair is essential for mobility and activities of daily living and is essential for therapeutic functioning. I am now in the 4th cycle and nearing a new month of loss. read more

Tried for almost 3 months to get a powered wheelchair. It was approved by IEHP multiple times. Their "funding specialist" never called back. Spent multiple days begging to get someone to call me, NOTHING. Tyche ONLY encouragement I got was from the persons that answered the phone. It was almost like it was going to cost THEM to sell me a chair. After reading these other reviews, I wonder how they're still in business. I ordered an electric wheel chair months ago. It was aproved by Humana. I called them several times. They said they had not received an order from my MD. They were not helful. I called 3 times to no avail. They said they would contact my MD. They did not. Finally my MD faxed them a new order and a copy of all their correspondence. Miraculously they responded. I am still awaiging an evaluation by one of their technicians. If I do not hear from them I will ask Humana to take them off their list of contracted DMEs read more

Update, they still won't own up to their mess up. Trying to make the chair work for me and the foot plate is for a kid. Instead of just changing the plate they filed an order with my insurance. This is their mess up. Now they want me to take a pic and all this other stuff. They should just build me another chair but that would cut into the 401$ million they had in revenue. Started the process of acquiring a wheelchair for my mom last year. They called us for payment and then said it would be delivered within a week. This was around thanksgiving day. I left voicemails, messages and we even visited their office and all of these methods were useless. They do not respond. They are so lazy and Incompetent and don't realize their customers NEED assistance. We didn't receive the wheelchair until March. My mom used it once before she passed away. That means every hospital visit and doctors appointment or even just a day to go outside was done with tremendous struggle for my mom bc this company left us hanging without a wheelchair. As soon as my mom passed they call a few days later to say they need to pickup the wheelchair. THEY SURE DO CALL FAST WHEN THEY NEED SOMETHING. I write this review to help people avoid this company. They don't care about you and the assistance you need. They also said we wouldn't be getting back the payment we made until my wife called and complained. If I can give this company -10 stars I would the worst company ever including customer service and supervisors. My doctor has submitted orders since August to have my nephew's medical equipment fixed and I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. I leave messages they are not answered I send emails nothing. My doctor has submitted the orders 3 times and nothing this is a pacient that depends 100% percent on his medical equipment for daily life he is disabled on a vent in a vegetative state and has many doctor's appointments and I cannot get his equipment fixed yet they are fast to contact the insurance to ensure payment months in advance. I have never met a more inept company in my LIFE!! Two years ago I went through hell trying to get a custom made wheelchair only to have it delivered wrong size and specs. Mark Beeman did NOTHING to help rectify the situation. I spent hours on the phone and finally gave up and pursued the replacement with the company. Unfortunately, I have to go with NSM because this is who my insurance contracts with. Now 2 years later a referral was made for new tires and cushion for the same chair and once again it has sat on someones desk at NSM for 1 month and nothing has been done!!! There are no words to describe how horrible this company is. If i did my job the way they do theirs, I would have been fired a LONG TIME AGO! I felt it was fitting to give this company a SINGLE star to go along with their SINGLE occupant van (only a driver inside vehicle, no passengers) driving in the carpool lane. Nobody likes to get stuck in freeway traffic, but c'mon guy. Driver drove from 91/215 interchange thru Grand Terrace/Colton and exited to get onto 10. Horrible. Lied to us about why they cancelled our sons order for his wheelchair. First they said they got an email from Kaiser saying they cancelled the referral. Then told us there was no referral. Then what email are they talking about if there was no email. Called Kaiser they confirmed on they DID NOT cancel any referral. So now we have to start over. I put a formal complaint through Kaiser about this horrible company. Hopefully if Kaiser paid anything to them they can get their money back read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I started the process of getting my father's chair fixed more than a month ago. This office doesn't have systems in place to track their progress in helping clients so that problems can be discovered as quickly as possible. HORRIBLE SERVICE! The ladies who work at the building are very nice and are always doing everything they can to help but the ones who work out of the office and do all the equipment fixing are terrible the communications suck. I have been trying to get parts ordered for my daughters wheelchair now for over a year and I have yet to contact the guy I have been dealing with Mark Jingles. They have sent multiple emails and I have left many messages and I still have not gotten a call back! We also ordered a new wheel chair and the lady I have been dealing with Delores she has not returned my calls how hard is it to pick up the phone and call me back! Worst customer service ever! This company should not be in business. One star is way to generous... they deserve a negative 0. Mark B, the branch manager rarely returns phone calls, delivers the wrong equipment, and won't answer questions about the wheelchair and cushion ordered. He initiated contact before Thanksgiving and stated he would be back the following week for the measure. We had to call several time to get him out for the measure. Once he took the measurement he stated it would take 2-3 weeks to get the wheelchair, in the meantime, we wanted to get the cushion ahead of wheelchair. First, he stated our wheelchair cushion was covered by insurance, then he said it wasn't. I paid out of pocket for the cushion and when picked up, it was not what we ordered. Then we were told the seat cushion was covered by insurance when it was delivered it was the wrong one again. When I questioned the measurement of the chair (due to wrong cushion)and asked for a re-measure, company incorrectly claimed 2 measures had already been done. When I continuously followed up via e-mail and phone calls to the corporate office and Mark, he canceled the order on January 3, 2018. His words "We will cancel entire order since we seem to not be able to satisfy my 25years of experience." I did not choose this company, they are contracted with our medical group in Redlands. The 2-3 week time frame given for delivery of wheelchair was grossly inaccurate and after almost 2 months of headache still no wheelchair. Complete waste of time and energy. The Redlands branch of National seating & mobility Has treated me & the fixing of my Wheelchair with zero cares They have such contempt on the phone for us after they've screwed up for months of submitting the wrong codes TWICE to spending weeks claiming the right parts were put on my Power wheelchair only to have to admit & replace the parts they did wrong (still not replaced) We spend weeks in bed do to their misconduct & then they double up our pain & suffering by being outright rude & condescending on the phone when we finally get fed up & question them on why there is so many issues mistakes an wrong doings over a LONG period of time (( Diann was the phone representative for the Redlands office) I'm going to spend Thanks Giving in bed because of their incompetence My IEHP Insurance rep pushed me to file a complaint & i did file that complaint with my Insurance company and HIGHLY recommend you do the same....!! read more
