Our water was leaking in the RV. We had to keep our water off and use a bucket underneath to…read morecollect from the leak. This was clean fresh water leaking near the water heater. I called South Florida Mobile RV Repair from a recommendation of a fellow traveler. He came and checked it out. It was going to cost $150.00 just to look at the issue. He was here for no longer then 5 minutes and was gone. He didn't even go under the RV to see the leak or where it was coming from. After 3 weeks of messages and voicemails, even seeing him face to face and a promise to get me the estimate for fixing my leak, it still took almost a month for him to get back to me. He finally sends me a text message while I am leaving yet another voicemail. This was all he sent me. Almost $500 for a new tank or $900 for a new water heater. I had a friend come out and look at my leak and after 5 minutes, he fixed it. A coupler in my water hose where it connects to the water heater, needed to be tightened. That was all. Kevin would have charged me $150 for the first visit, and at least $750 for parts and labor depending on what I decided to do about replacing the entire water heater. He is a con-artist, yet he has John Prince Campgrounds as his customer base for years and years. I DO NOT recommend South Florida Mobile RV Repair to anyone. Find another mechanic.

I have a box truck with a broken air brake release. I called this guy, "Tony", and he told us in order for him to come out and take a look that we would have to pay $205 plus tax ($219.35) via CashApp. He kept saying it was like ordering a "pie" (pizza): We had to pay in advance to get his service, which would be fine if we were actually going to get a service. Immediately after paying, he said he would be out to the truck in 30 minutes because he went to another call, but 30 minutes came and went, and he still wasn't there. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited 2.5 hours longer, called him, and again, he said he was on his way to the truck. Guess what? He never showed up. Today, it's the next day, almost 24 hours later, and he won't answer his phone. Do NOT use this company, unless you just want to throw money away!

First thing the guy says is how much would your boss like to spend on this piece of crap that…read moreshould have been a red flag right there from the get-go so anyhow they were supposed to put in a clutch into my work truck well they did but all of the hardware that I got back wasn't the hardware they took out they had stacks of washers different size bolts different size nuts used for spacers just holding my bell housing together clutch absolutely does not work at all they did not change the pitman ball and anybody that knows a little bit about mechanics knows that that's one of the golden rules when you do it clutch change the pitman ball get the flywheel surface they didn't even get the flywheel surface charged my boss$3,000 and when we asked why the clutch is not any better gave an attitude and said that's just the way those trucks are so therefore pretty much just paid him $3,000 to take all of my hardware and zip tie my transmission back together with hokie hardware and to tell me that that's just how those trucks drive that was quite an expensive piece of information he shared with me lesson learned if you want something done right do it yourself cuz only you are going to do the better job because it is your property and nobody else gives a crap so if you're thinking about taking your vehicle here don't I don't know how this place has not been shut down I do not see any good reviews should have done my due diligence before but oh well so if this will help convince just one person not to make this mistake and pay dearly then me taking the time to write this was worth it
