After explaining the charges for each (which were acceptable based on other rates that I had checked in the area), they got to work and sent me on my way after 25-30 minutes. Impressive stuff. As an added bonus, the waiting room is quite spacious with comfortable leather couches. They have a couple of light snacks, water, and coffee as well. I've taken my car to multiple mechanics for a persistent check engine light and intermittent battery/charging concerns, and I kept getting the same answer: "It's the MAF sensor." I replaced the MAF and the problem still wouldn't go away. I brought it to One Stop Smog & Auto Repair and the difference was immediate. They didn't guess--they did a truly extensive diagnostic that took hours, including a smoke test of the intake system. They found, among other things, a torn PCV hose causing an intake leak, and they replaced it. The biggest surprise? When I came to pick up my car, they told me there was no charge. I've been quoted up to $200 for diagnostics like that elsewhere. Honest, thorough, and genuinely charitable. I can't say enough good things--customer for life. I brought my truck with automatic transmission in for alignment 2/4/2025. I asked them to correct my steering wheel to be centered. Afterward, when I left the shop, the steering wheel is off to the right side. Brought it back and the owner insisted on driving my truck and saying "my son is a professional" and he kept shouting about his friends who hunts and gave meat to him and kept asking me if I hunt after I repeatedly told him I do not hunt and only fish. He put in manual gear until I asked him to put into Drive and speeding down N. Market drive, Northgate and to highway 80 and and exit onto Truxel and the whole time he said excitedly "it is centered" while I could not get a word. I drove today on I-80 from Watt to Northgate and the steering wheel is way off going straight line with no turn on the highway. I cannot take picture since I was driving and only want to let all know since I will not come back to this business. AVOID at all cost. Update. Shop called and my truck steering is now straight. Came in earlier today to get my car smogged, oil changed (long overdue) and look into a couple of minor issues (key fobs not working and slight rattling noise when accelerating). Rajpreet was extremely helpful by immediately looking at my keyfobs and noticing that the metal touchpoints weren't making contact. Quickly adjusted the touchpoints and both key fobs worked. This saved me a couple hundred dollars as I was about to order new fobs and have them reprogrammed. They quickly performed the smog check and confirmed no issues. Then provided an oil change and then Rajpreet's father took me in the car for a quick spin to check on the rattling noise. Luckily, the noise went away as he confirmed that he didn't notice any loose connections or issues that would've caused the sound. He was helpful in providing advice on my car as I'm nearing 85k miles. Picked up the keys and checkout was a smooth process. Will definitely be going back again.
