I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

I am extremely frustrated at the horrible and disappointing customer service where they should have just issued me a new gift card in store. I left all of my groceries there and spent way too much time in that store that was completely unnecessary. That was after three people tried to help and told me that the guy I just talked to who talked to your phone reps said he could help me. So who can fix this urgently and make it right since my experience has been absolutely atrocious and resulted in unnecessary time additional work on my end and stress that was not needed today.

There were a couple things I forgot to look for but the main issue is that the prices have gone up so much in the past three or four years since the last time I was in one that there was nothing I needed enough to spend that much more on it. Not their fault, everybody's prices have gone way up. If I'd seen something on sale that I needed I might have gotten it though . Part of the reason for coming here was that I saw somebody carrying one of their cute tote bags and it made me want to get one. I ended up getting two because the little elephant one was so cute. Their clearance rack had real good prices at half off so I got some sprouted whole-grain bread, some sour cream and some organic tortillas from there. I had to buy a bag of Basil just because it smells so good. I got some of their bulk ranch seasoning to go with the sour cream and one of those lavender sporks for three dollars, remembering that just a couple years ago they used to be $2. Ultimately I was happy with what I ended up with. And I have to say, when I smelled the wonderful aroma before I even walked into the store, I had that familiar feeling of being home because it smells like the other stores I had been to, the comforting aroma of herbs and spices and essential oils all mixed together.

Now, its hit and miss, with more misses. This location doesn't have a bakery but brings over items. Some of the desserts are still decent like the fruit tart. I bought some cookies that were just terrible and just tasted like pre-packaged cookies. It also doesn't have a full cheese area, just a small shelf of the nicer cheeses. It does have the tiny basket of odds and ends cheeses which I always love checking. Great way to try new cheeses, but the Fry's with Murray's cheese counters also have this. I went for one item that is only sold at Whole Foods, but apparently not this Whole Foods. Some items at Whole Foods are much higher priced but some aren't. The main reasons I go are the covered parking -- really great in summer, and they carry items other stores don't. While they didn't have what I came for, I did find they now have the Gymkhana Indian sauces which I've wanted to try but hadn't gotten around to ordering.
