I had a really good experience at Natural Nails in American Canyon. Making an appointment was very easy, and when I arrived, I was seated almost immediately. The salon did get noticeably busier as my appointment went on, but the service remained pleasant overall. I had a regular pedicure, and the nail technician did a great job with the finished look. My only suggestion would be to spend a little more time on the scrubbing and massage. That part of the service felt somewhat rushed, and I would have enjoyed a little more time to relax. I also wouldn't recommend paying extra for callus remover, as I didn't feel that part of the service was done particularly well. Overall, I was happy with my results and had a positive experience. It would not let me respond to the message on here so had to just update the review. I was contacted AFTER my update and I DID respond. The fact that you lied shows me your negative intentions. Yes, I was contacted after the review and was asked to come by to have the set re-done. I then explained why I did not feel comfortable going back due the professionalism and treatment I received. My concerns were completely disregarded and you continued to insist I came back even after expressing to you that it's not considerate of my time etc especially when I do not live there to have to drive such a distance. I even asked for a refund or even partial at the time and received no further response. The next response was here advising I had not answered. I stand by my review and again will never go back because of my experience and treatment, and now due to the lie I would not recommend as the integrity is now a concern. Again, HAD we actually come to an agreement or you respond after I replied etc. I would have simply updated and advised the outcome. I went to this nail shop yesterday for a manicure and pedicure. The women doing my manicure and pedicure rushed through it. When I asked the woman doing my manicure to get an ingrown and to do better at cutting my cuticles she ignored me. Below is a photo of my manicure today, you can clearly see I still need my cuticles cut. Then I asked for clear pink polish, she put the nail polish without a clear coat after. When my service was finished I paid and purposely did not leave a tip because they did a terrible job. The lady came and tapped me as I left and said "tip" to which I replied "no!" The nerve to ask for a tip and you can't even provide good service. I will not be going back here. I do not recommend you spend her either. read more

i've been going here for the past few months and NEVER had any complaints. today i came in to get new set for my birthday weekend. i usually have a very high pain tolerance when it comes to getting my nails removed. the rest of my nails came out smoothly but when the guy was struggling to remove the nail on my middle finger, he kept going knowing i was in discomfort and it caught on to my actual nail. while my nail was bleeding, he then continued with the rest of my nails and glued on the fake nails. after applying them, he tells me that i would have to come back in 2 days to get my middle nail done and i refused because i didn't wanna leave with one missing. if he could've told me sooner, i would've never let him continue and apply those nails. my nail is throbbing in so much pain and i've never cried in frustration over such a thing! read more

The only thing consistent about this place is that Ryan does Awesome nails. He's done my Acrylics with Gel and I've had them last about a month! The pedicures are relaxing and they do a great job. The only con about this place is that when you call to make an appointment I've had to wait longer than usual on several occasions. It's a hit or miss depending how busy they are even with an appointment. So I would suggest coming at an earlier time when it's not soo busy. read more

Their color selection is crap. My toes look like crap. Barley even scrubbed my heel. I left with my heel still rough. Lumpy, thick, globby, messy paint job. Made me wait 20 minutes with my feet in water. Save your money go somewhere else. Simple as that. read more

My sister comes to this place very often, she used to love getting her nails done by a tech named Leo. Unfortunately he moved, so now she goes much less than before. She's never had a super bad experience until today. She took my mom to get a mani and pedi while She went for a manicure. While my mom was being taken care of, a male tech began to help her. She didn't take his name down, but when he started she noticed he placed the acrylic nails sideways. She calmly told him to please take them off and re-do them to which she noticed he got bothered and told her, her thumbs were too fat. She was shocked because her thumbs had never been a problem before with other nail techs at the same shop. She then told him to just take them off then and to not continue. He then insisted to continue and She gave him a second chance. He then proceeded to cut her fingers with the tools at the cuticle which made her bleed out and the nails were still being put on sideways and the shaping wasn't looking normal. Because She was bleeding and he didn't care to clean her, she told him to just take them off and not continue at all. He then got very rude and began to say stuff in his language. At that point other employees were coming over to see what was happening and even one of the ladies doing my moms pedicure stopped working on my mom to come over and take a look at my sisters nails. She felt very uncomfortable and like they were being unprofessional. She felt like the nail tech that worked on her did a terrible job at shaping and placing the nails and he also didn't bother to clean the blood off her fingers which was super unsanitary. She didn't trust him to continue so She just had him remove them all and paid only for my moms mani and pedi. When She went to pay they had the nerve to ask for tip for My sisters service which She felt like they didn't deserve one, so she just paid for my moms work and left. She doesn't think She'll be back at this place, She'll try other local nail shops next time. read more

I got a dip powder manicure on my natural nails. Within a week they were cracking and lifting. As you can see one is now completely off as it chipped and cracked to the point half of my natural nail was exposed. It's been a week and a half and I'm so unhappy and disappointed. I paid $55 plus a tip and my nails didn't even look nice for a week. I got them done on Saturday 3/27/21. They were done way too thick and too close to the cuticle. My sister, however got a gel manicure by the same technician and her nails still look great. I'm not sure if it was a product or process failure with the dip powder. Unfortunately, I don't live in American Canyon, I live over 60 miles away so I haven't been able to go back to show them or get them fixed. read more
