I had them come out to the house on two separate occasions. Both times, they took care of my problem. I found the employees to be good communicators and clean up after themselves very well. The first time, they did a spot treatment on termites and I opted for them to spray boracare on the wood in my attic. It has been over five years and the termites have not returned. I didn't know how relentless ants could be until our house became attacked by them! Our house is always pretty clean and there was no food out for them to get but they wanted to march right through anyways. I tried everything to get rid of them but they seemed like they were coming from inside the walls!!! Natural Science Exterminating came out, and I must say, I was skeptical that they would be able to do anything since I had tried everything. The first time they were out, the ants were back the next day... But fortunately they gave a guarantee and came back and the next time they tried something different and it worked!! Thank goodness. I found these guys on Google when I had just bought my condo in Irvine. Can you believe just moving in and the place was crawling (literally) with all sorts of bugs. Ants, cockroaches, etc. Yech! I thought that the old owner should have been responsible for paying for it but that's another story. These guys were great. Killed the bugs without leaving a bad smell. Came back a month later just to check it out. I didn't call them or anything. They checked out the places where the nests were and confirmed that the place was clean and then left. I have had problems with ants at my new house and called to see if there was something that could be done to rid me of this problem without creating an unsafe environment for my two small children who are all over the floor all of the time. I had someone come out that day, arrive on time, and had two different treatments done that day. Problem solved, very knowledgable technician, and was very impressed with the attention to detail. Do you have ants? I haven't had any for 2 years since Hired Gun got rid of mine. The only company that's ever been able to do it!!! They have access to special killers we can't buy at Home Depot. DO Not use this dishonest, unethical, lying exterminating company. I had a yearlong contract after tenting and they did not discover subterranean termites or rats in my attic but falsified the report back dated to say they did. I warn you not to do business with them. Barbara Kroe 10/29/18 Dave certainly used facts to his advantage. As for the roof tiles, he didn't replace them out of the goodness of his heart, I PAID INSURANCE for that purpose. He continues to lie and is totally unethical. Secondly his worker was in my house a number of times in my attic, NEVER mentioning rat droppings and insulation damage. On all these visits he NEVER mentioned subterranean termites. These were discovered by other .reputable exterminators. I repeat emphatically, NO NOT use Natural Science Exterminating. Also let him question his employees under oath as to the validity of my claim. Barbara Kroe I responded to Dave's untrue rebuttal and it seems to have disappeared. I called Hired Gun late last year and got an estimate for our house as we saw signs of termites in our patio and garage door. Dave came out and found some termites in our attic as well. He gave us a good estimate but we had to wait until our new roof was put on for them to do the work. We put off call them back (you know how that goes) until a flying swarm of termites came in our backyard and nested around an old tree stump. Called them back and Dave came out and did another free estimate and graciously included spraying the stump for the price of the original estimate! Joey came out the next day and took care of everything quickly, on time and fully cleaned up after all the work was done. In response to the business owner's comment on my previous review; Although our current company has been doing an exceptional job keeping our home pest free for over 3 years; it's a very small company; and they don't offer flexibility in the day of week they service our area. My schedule has recently changed, making it more difficult for me to be home for my regular service. So I've been considering switching companies. The use of the world natural in your business name and your previous 5 star reviews, were the reasons I contacted your company. And as I stated in my review, the woman that answered the phone, Julie, was rude. When she spoke to me she had an attitude and used a tone which made all of your 5 star reviews irrelevant. And although she was rude to me, I never became upset. I merely asked her name, thanked her for the information, and hung up. Regarding my comment on your $275 charge for the initial service, I included that information in my review as a point of reference for anyone considering your services. As I stated in my review, it may be a reasonable charge for a new customer with an active pest problem; but I find it completely unreasonable for someone, like me, that only needs a continuation of preventative maintenance. And FYI, it was after I asked Julie, if there was anyone else that I could speak to regarding the $275 charge, (to which she answered "No.") that she became additionally frustrated with me, and spoke to me as if I shouldn't be wasting her time. read more

i would have to say that the price was the most reasonable and that is why we went with hired gun, they got the job done. unfortunately while on my roof one of the employees put his foot through and created a large hole (just prior to rain) and did not say anything. all he had to do is tell me. Terrible experience!!! I wish I could give negative stars. My roof was six days old when their techs tented my property. I told the office multiple times my roof was new and I expected it to be undamaged by the tenting. I even wrote that on the release. When the techs arrived I could hear them on the roof. From what I heard, they weren't being careful. I went ahead and left for my temporary digs even though I was worried about them damaging the roof. My roofer came over a few days later to tell me that he observed the techs being careless on the roof. He said he told the techs they would damage the roof if they didn't take more care and they ignored him. Once he was able to get back on the roof to inspect it he found they had damaged it in several places. I provided pictures of the damage to Natural Science. The cost of repairs exceeds what I was charged for the tenting. Natural Science keeps telling me I signed a release so they aren't responsible. Sorry - a signed release isn't a license for wreckless and careless behavior. I will be stopping payment on the credit card payment and fighting the charge vigorously. Lastly I agree with the other reviews about the office being hard to get hold of and Julie's attitude. When I tried to convey to her the instructions the roofer gave me to be relayed to the techs prior to tenting she spoke down to me and gave me her assessment of the instructions. Based on the way she spoke to me I'm sure the instructions weren't conveyed. read more

I used Natural Science Exterminating to get rid of a termite problem that I had. I had recently purchased a house and it supposedly had been termited as part of the sale, but one year after I had moved in I discovered I had fairly severe termite damage. I have dogs and I did not want to have to tent my house and leave for a weekend. Natural Science Exterminating offered me an effective alternative that was pet safe and did not require that I leave my home - Boracare. I also had some wood damage as a result of the termite infestation and they were able to repair all of that and paint it to match the outside of my house and you couldn't even tell that anything had been replaced. We called to see about getting a termite inspection from this company. The owner himself (David) came to our home the next day after we called for a termite inspection and he showed up on time.He did a very thorough inspection of our entire home. He then let us know that he only found termites in 1 small board and he didn't charge us for the inspection either. My husband and I were very pleased with this company and feel that they are very honest and friendly. We highly recommend this company for any pest problems that you may have.
