Decided to get a year's worth of food as inflation and unpredictability looms. Looked up this place and decided to give it a try. Called them up and all my questions were answered about the process. Seemed like a great place to try as she was very friendly. When you pull up, farm is clean and well kept. I believe it is wife and husband run. Wife answers phone and explains everything when you call (first time buyer of bulk meat here) and husband is butcher. Meat is halal, appropriately fed and no chemicals (I got a whole cow). Well packaged and presented upon pick up- see pic below. You can speak with butcher, Ahmad as to how he'll cut it up for you. With the uncertainty of food prices, it's a good idea folks. Buy local, fresh and clean. You can't save the world but you can keep your local community going strong.

Check them out: www.nbmeats.com OPEN: TH-Sun 9am-5pm or by appointment on other days/times. We drove up on a random Friday, so we caught them at the end of one of their orders. Ahmad was wonderful. He showed my 5 yr old son the animal pen, let me know how it all works and why they are so different from everything else available locally. They NO LONGER sell chicken. They have LOCAL HONEY (onsite), EGGS picked up and onsite for TH *high demand, so call Tues and let them know you are interested, they will put some aside for you! They have goat, lamb & cow. JUST CALL and ask if you have a specific need. Ahmad is GREAT! DID YOU KNOW? Slaughter houses are required by law to hold their meat for at least 21 days BEFORE they can even send it to their distributors for packaging, labeling and deliver to various grocery stores :( Grocery meat is AT LEAST 30-60 days OLD! The $1 off coupon means it's closer to 90 days OLD before you take it home! FACT: Fresh meat MUST BE MARINATED to soften the animals nerves. Otherwise it takes MANY DAYS for the nerves to die, which is the cause of the tough meat. You CAN NOT take this meat home and throw it on the BBQ and complain to someone that the meat is tough. LAME. BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO BUY: Late June, July, Aug, Sept. Once the grass turns brown, the farms don't need the animals to graze, so prices come down. GENERAL IDEA OF PRICING: It all depends, but.. Cow = meat and bones ($1.00 per pound). Angus ($1.25 per pound). Cows weigh approx 300-650 lbs. HOW IT WORKS: You call ahead of time or go onsite and pick your animal (if you want a whole). Available for pickup on TH, FRI, SAT, SUN. Bring your own container, ice chest, packaging or they will put the meat in big heavy duty plastic bags for you to take home. *For an nominal fee they will cut your animal HOWEVER you want it, specific steaks $65 for specific steaks for 1/2 cow. RANDOM INFO: If you want to avoid ALLERGY ISSUES in spring. Start taking small daily doses of LOCAL HONEY in JANUARY and avoid problems when everyone else is dosing pills like mad. Also, Un-Processed HONEY DOES NOT EXPIRE!!! Grocery honey is 30%+ water; which makes it pour like syrup.

First time here and it smells great

Very great quality meat! Lourdes was very nice and was able to pick out the best cuts for the dish I was making. My partner and I purchased lamb and goat. One suggestion is if you're going to the farm expect to purchase a 1/4 & up. They have the best of best but it's a lot if you are planning on buying a smaller amount. On the bright side If you're about to throw a party then I would say this meat is the way to go! The red chicken I bought was so flavorful, but the lamb and goat meat take the prize!!

Very impressed by the service and it was a beautiful sight to see the owner Carrying and showing the kids the barn.

I The food was good and tasty, however the wait staff they had serving the food was ABSOLUTELY RUDE. It was an older lady and a younger man serving the meats and they were unprofessional, and dismissive to each and every person including the children they were serving. Given this was a memorial service reception, their lack of empathy and professionalism really put a damper on the entire reception. I think you guys can do better and hire better waitstaff.

Food: The hot tri-tip sandwich was unfortunately ice cold, lacked flavor, and was overcooked. I had to use a lot of barbecue sauce just to make it enjoyable. I've had this sandwich before and it was delicious, so I'm not sure what happened today. 2/10 The hot pastrami sandwich, on the other hand, was flavorful and one of the best sandwiches my wife says she's ever had. 10/10 We didn't order any sides this time, but we'll definitely try them on our next visit. Drinks: We ordered two waters and one Gatorade. Service: Service was quick and efficient. The team at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the old school touch of filling out a sandwich order form. Prices are very reasonable and fair. Even though my sandwich wasn't the best on this visit, we'll definitely be back to try the sides and other items on the menu.

There were six of us, so we decided to order a few items from the larger-serving menu to share everything family style among us. Here is what we ordered (prices all as of June 2026): Picanha Steak Platter (served with White Rice, Black Beans, Farofa, Vinaigrette, and Chimichurri Sauce) $69.99: This was delicious and came with about five pieces of steak. What I liked most was that some of the fat was still attached to the meat, which added a ton of flavor. The White Rice was fluffy yet firm, with a subtle citrusy lime flavor that was really refreshing. The Black Beans were also tasty and savory from the sausage mixed in. Chef Special (Sliced Picanha) (served with White Rice and French Fries) $48.00: This was basically a "sliced" version of the other Picanha platter we ordered. The meat seemed leaner though, since I didn't notice any fatty pieces. Both dishes were good, and it really comes down to your personal preference on whether you enjoy a fattier cut or a leaner one. Ribeye Platter (served with White Rice, Black Beans, and Fried Polenta) $74.99: This was also very good, but several of us thought the Picanha had more flavor, so we ended up preferring that to this Ribeye. The service was pretty good, and the food presentation on hot plates was excellent. One thing to note is that the restaurant felt a bit stuffy from all the smoke coming off the hot plates, so just be aware of that as you may leave the restaurant smelling like grilled steak. There was also an additional 5% charge for credit card payments that they failed to mention until I noticed it on the bill and inquired about it. I would've much appreciated it if they had been more upfront and transparent about this fee instead of leaving us wonder and discover on our own this "supplement charge".
