Super disappointed. The service was really bad, and when I asked the waitress about a gluten-free menu or gluten-free options, she told me she didn't know. I'm pretty sure she just didn't know what gluten is, but made no effort whatsoever to find out if there were available choices. Nature's Grill on court street is that rarest of good places that offers the option if truly healthful eating! A rarity even in this day of the health conscious and fad diets. That said, the menu options are enormous and Everyrhing is prepared fresh to order! Which makes for an overworked kitchen staff, there are one to two depending on the day, then a shake person, and finally a register clerk. Which in turn makes it very easy for them to get backed up. On the plus side, I've RARELY if ever known them to get an order wrong! Either if I was eating it there or getting take a way for a major win! Food is good, albeit a little pricey. It was one of the better bison burgers I've had from a delivery place, and the side order of grilled chicken was solid as well. My fiance had vegetables with fat-free mozzarella and seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. This would be a 5-star, if not for one small issue. I ordered a diet 7-up, and they sent a regular Sprite. I'm fine with the brand switch, but I'm on a low-carb diet and a 120 calorie can of soda with a boatload of sugar doesn't work. It's sitting in the fridge, and I may drink it someday (I don't like wasting money and it was $1.50). There are some meals I order here regularly that I love...But if I order them for delivery I am not only paying a delivery fee and tip, but getting less then I would get in the restaurant. Multiple times I have ordered a sandwich for delivery that I regularly get in the restaurant and it comes with a side of blue chips...But delivery does not..And many times I have asked that they include them and they don't. Nor do they even acknowledge the request. For the price I'm paying for the sandwich and the delivery I'm not sure why I'm given less for the same exact order in the restaurant. read more

My husband and I discovered Natures Grill (cobble hill location) accidentally after he purchased a groupon that entitled us to enjoy $35 worth of eats for only the price of $15. The menu is diverse with many options for any picky eater, it can get a bit overwhelming with soo many options therefore its best to take a look at the menu before leaving home if you can. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:15 pm last night (Saturday), being slightly busy. Our cutlery was handed to us as soon as we sat down and we were served with a tall glass of water which was a nice. The waitress was very friendly and took our order within minutes. We ordered the Guadalajara salad, the Italiano wrap and Nature's Grill Quesadilla and ended with a fruit salad. We did not wait that long before all our food was served together although we would have preferred to start with the salad, it didn't matter that much. The Guadalajara salad had mixed greens, walnuts, cranberries, almonds, tomato, avocado green apple with a Caribbean mango dressing. It was big enough for two, the greens were extra crunchy, just the dressing was a bit too sweet, but they do serve it on the side so you can add as much as you like. Give it a try!!! The Nature's Grill veggie Quesadilla came with either a side of vegetables or a potato. I chose the vegetables, which i enjoyed very much, the sweet and sour sauce that was served made a good dipping sauce for the broccoli!! The Quesadilla itself very tasty and huge, I had half and shared the rest with my husband. The vegetables were cooked nicely and If you like slightly spicy, its just right. He had the Italiano wrap which came with blue chips and sour cream, smaller in size and a bit too much cheese. Not bad, but with all the options on the menu I'd stay away from this one and try something else. Final thoughts: If you want something healthy and tasty give the Nature's grill cobble hill location a try. The food is not bland at all. The staff was very friendly which made the experience more enjoyable. The service was great. The restaurant itself was clean, A grade standard and the bathroom was one of the cleanest I have ever seen in a NYC restaurant. We would definitely go back there if we are ever in the area again. Warning warning do not eat here. I have eaten here twice, and had problems both times. Unfortunately my coworkers frequent this establishment, and I was forced to go the second time. The first incident was about 6 months ago, I ordered Tuna steak and vegetables, it looked a little off and smelled fishy, I though it was the seasoning. That night I had terrible stomach pain and diarrhea, it lasted 2 days. Next was a couple of months ago I ate the breakfast sweet potato pancakes while I was eating them there was a huge plastic wrapper cooked into the center of the pancake. I told the waitress and asked to speak to a manager they took down my cell number to have the manager call me and they never called to apologize, or see if I was alright. it's been 2 months I gave them a fair chance to redeem themselves and they failed. Natures grill is a very safe and bland place. Everything I've had there is fine, but nothing worth remembering. Love this place. As an athlete I am always on a strict diet. Like I need to know portion sizes, what its cooked it, and seasoning. Nature Grill is great because they offer clean food that's not dirtied up by sauce or oil. Their menu is literally a chapter book. So many options from breakfast to dinner to salad. They have protein pancakes ( my fav) and BISON. In addition to the menu, Nature Grill is large so there is never a wait to be seated. Service here is quick and prices are reasonable for what you get. I just started working over at Metrotech and was referred to this spot from a co-worker. I would say they are more health food diner than health food restaurant given the enormity of their menu...TONS of options...but overall, I've ordered lunch from here 3x over the last 2 weeks and it has been above average. The fresh juice is just that, fresh....and way better an option than other local spots..Their burgers are good...not unreal...but a solid option (and cheaper than the other burger joint across the street). by far...the standout for me is the salad bar...there are ZERO decent options down here for a decent salad....only pizzerias with wilted lettuce and non-ripe tomatoes...they have lots of options to kind of do a different one daily. Food is generally good though all meat seems to only have one cooking temperature: black. To be honest-I used to order out from this place all the time on seamless. Then i figured out their prices at the restaurant were as much as 30% less than ordering on seamless. For instance, their Pete the Greek Wrap is $13.95 with chicken on seamless but only $10.95 on the menu. So i started ordering at the restaurant. Then it turns out they are now charging 3.99% if you use a credit card. That seems like a lot to me. I'll continue to eat there (paying only in cash i suppose) but these pricing tricks have left a sour taste in my mouth so stars off for that. read more

Maybe it was hunger that brought my boyfriend and I to this place for brunch. We walked, and walked and we saw something Grill, nice place, small, we saw the menu and it looked "healthy" not that is bad to have something healthy, but we were craving eggs, bacon, home fries, definitely something fried. Anyways, we were there and hungry, our food arrived spotless, not a drop of salt. I added ketchup to my wrap to give it a little flavor. I have to say the smoothies are so refreshing and natural 100%, this was the best part.. Worst delivery experience ever!! We ordered through seamless web and they left a bison burger out of the order. I called back and told them they left it out of the order. They girl said it was her fault and she would send another. Now our order was paid for through seamless web which means by credit card. Needless to say the forgotten burger arrives and the guy wants me to pay for it. I said no it's paid for and next thing I know some guy is harassing my doorman saying we didn't pay for our food! When we called natures grill the guy on the phone was extremely rude then when we said we paid through seamless web he couldn't even apologize for the mistake he said oh wrong address and hung up the phone. I ordered a salad with shrimp and grilled chicken today. When I received the salad the shrimp was under cook. I order from this restaurant all the time and never had any issues with my food. I would usually order the same salad too. After I realized the shrimp was under cook. I called the restaurant and told them my issue with the salad. The lady on the phone told me that they been cooking the shrimps the same away since day one and I strongly disagree with her. I like I said before I never had an issue with there food before. I haven't been to the one in Bay Ridge, but I've been anxiously awaiting the opening of this Nature's Grill since they put the sign up months ago. The atmosphere is bright and clean, and everything looked fresh. The prices for lunch and dinner are right, especially considering the enormous portions they give you. The Thai Lettuce Wraps were good, but a little too spicy for me. The Vegetable Panini was just ok, though. They also have smoothies, make-your-own salads and a giant catering menu. Overall, I would definitely go back but do wish the place was a little more cozy or 'stay a while'-ish. read more

Since my first review I have tried the basil mozzarella pizza & the sweet potato pancakes again. The pancakes were even better than the first time... honestly I don't believe they're healthy because they taste so good and satisfying! Really, they're amazing. The pizza was tasty - it's a light and thin crust, the mozzarella is pretty flavorful even though it's low fat and it was cooked perfectly. My only issue with this place is the waiter service. While the staff is friendly, it's annoying that you need to wait for your order to be taken, then wait after your meal for the check and so forth. Since I don't live very close I don't like doing take-out but if I want a quick in-and-out meal the whole thing just takes way too long. If they allowed you to order and seat yourself it would be so much better and more efficient. Until then though, I'll still be back for those pancakes! read more
