Terrible. I ordered sesame ginger chicken entree with rice and vegetables to go. While it was a huge portion, it was also just awful. The chicken was dry, overcooked and tasteless. There is no way this sad bird was marinated, as stated in the menu. The rice was overdone and gummy as well. To whom it may concern I'm a big fan of the Nature's Grill franchise but I must say this is the worst experience by far. We came to dine in and half way through our meal the waiter named Ulysses had placed the check on our table. We continued to eat our dinner. A few minutes later he then came round me said we are closing in 5 minutes. I have never received such treatment like this from any of the other locations. I am very disappointed. Went here to pick up two salads the other day. First impressions? Well the place is noisy so I wouldn't chose it if you wanted to talk to someone. Service, even for take away, was pretty bad as I had to try and get someone's attention to serve me. First time we ordered from this place yesterday and have them delivered to work. 4 different burgers all with about $2 difference in prices ($10-12+). One of them was veggie burger. Got to us and none of them were labeled especially at least the veggie burger for our vegetarian co-worker. I called to ask for help to identify which is which since it's not labeled. The woman answered with an attitude on her tone: oh we don't label! Hold on! Puts me on hold forever that I had to attend to my patient so I asked front desk to wait. Finally the woman on the other line returns still with an attitude: you're just gonna have to open each burger and see for yourself. Front desk nicely responding: we have no choice but to do that but just so you know it's not nice and hygienic to be holding and checking others people food. Attitude girl: well why didn't you request for it to be labeled?!?! Next time ask for your food to be labeled and hangs up. There's never gonna be next time. Besides , all 4 burgers looked the same. The non-vegetarian burgers looked and tasted the same even with the $2 difference. One was suppose to have caramelized onion in it but instead it had regular uncooked onions just like the rest!! Horrible customer service! I came into Nature's Grill excited to get a green juice. I ordered one that could be customized. Once ordered, my drink was being prepared and then made. After it was ready, I gave the cashier my card. She said we don't take cards for orders over 10. There was no visible sign. There was a small sign that was facing her! I asked to speak to a manager and there was no one available supposedly. The cashier took my drink and literally threw it out instead of allowing me to pay for it on my card. Nice settings and expansive menu. The burger is somewhat average for a price that is a little over the average. I've come here a handful of times and I really enjoy their wraps. Some wraps do come with some type of low fat mayo or sauce that you may want to request to have on the side in order to control how much you have. I don't know why other health freaks complain about that. Common sense: have it on the side or tell them to hold off on the fat-free mayo. Not impressed! The elk burger is overpriced and not very elk-y. It tasted like a Mediterranean kufta. It was over flavored and dry as cardboard. I couldn't find one characteristic of elk. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service of this establishment. I called on the phone to order bacon and some other items to meet the minimum for delivery. I didn't see it offered as a side item on the menu at GrubHub.com but they said they had it. When I get my delivery I find out that its turkey bacon and has been charred almost black on the grill. I would have been ok with turkey bacon but it tasted disgusting from the char. When I called to ask for a refund I'm told since it is listed on the menu as turkey bacon under other items like a BLT (not directly specified) they won't refund. However, after a few phone calls and actually going in person they finally relented and refunded the money for the bacon. I did try the other items I'd ordered. Orange juice was good but that's hard to mess up, however, the salad was repulsive. It contained cucumbers that were almost rotten and mushy. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. I recently found out that I have food allergies. I'm allergic to wheat,yeast,corn,soy,cow's milk, and egg whites. So I've explained that to the younger staff and they are understanding patient and nice. The only person on the staff that I have a problem with is this older waitress. I didn't get her name but she's the heavyset white spanish woman. Any way, everytime me and my fiance wait to be seated. She takes forever to get to our order, by conversing with other customers that already have their orders. And when I told her about my allergies, she was not so helpful,very inconsiderate and insensitive. We also didn't have clean glasses of water. And I feel like we might not go back there until that waitress is fired or spoken to. We also think that there should be more waiters and waitresses. Ok. I'll write this review in points. 1. The food is mediocre in taste, but relatively healthy, which is why my colleagues on my current project and I (800 plus of us, from the #1 big 4 firm head quartered here in NY (Yes, Nature's Grill is very stupid for not trying harder to accommodate us)) order from here often in large quantities. 2. Customer service is non-existent. The manager has the worse attitude possible, and cares nothing about his customers, small or great. 3. The delivery guys are rude and unprofessional. One even dropped our order and we had to wait forever to get it replaced. No compensation was given for THEIR mistake either. 4. This is not the place to order from if you're in a rush. They never deliver in less than an hour and rarely get it right. 5. If there's a problem with your order, don't expect them to correct it, because they won't. 6. If they make a mistake or never place your order, they won't give you a refund and will not compensate you otherwise. They'll just rip you off and keep going on like nothing ever happened. Repeat business isn't important to them. Synopsis: If you're looking for healthy fair, but don't care about taste, service, timeliness, etc., this is the place for you. BEST HEALTHY ORGANIC FOOD EVER! Came to Brooklyn for work for a week. Ate here every day for lunch because I didn't want to try anything else and regret not coming to natures grill! I had their salad, smoothies, lunch boxes, and panini and everything was incredible and fresh. The lunch box was a fun and filling option. There are like 6 lunch boxes to choose from and they all come with a smooth for about 10-12 dollars. They also have protein brownies with 24 grams of protein! Staff was awesome and helpful too. I am always disappointed with the food here. It is flavorless and I feel like the fill up with the cheapest stuff but put very little of the good items. For example, on a sandwich they will put a lot of the sprouts and a tiny bit of humus and even less avocado. You still pay almost $10 for it. I was here this past Saturday for the first time with my sister for lunch. I love green juice and was able to get a huge one for $6 which was very reasonable. We both got salads that were big and fresh, but the chicken was very dry. The menu is too big for anything to be really good. Food was just okay. Not bad, but definitely not great. Everything sounds good, but it turns out to be blah. I asked for a whole wheat tortilla instead of the chile, but they gave me the chile anyway. I was so hungry that I didn't realize it until I took my first bite, but since I did so I decided not to mention it. Hummus came in a plastic container as if it were to-go, but placed on a plate. Didn't get the food until 4:45pm. When I had called the store, whoever answered gave me attitude about their "attempts" in delivering/ calling yet I never received a call. When the food finally arrived, it was soggy, tasteless, and the guacamole was brown instead of green. To make matters worse, I was trying to make the best of the cuban I had ordered only to find a hair in it. Needless to say the food is now in the garbage and I am still hungry. I love the healthy food selection here, and it's pretty good. It's right next to my gym so very convenient for to-go lunch. Unfortunately, it's too expensive for me to be a regular.
