Omg this place is AMAZING. The inventory is huge, great prices and the rock depot...... oh the rock depot! They have layaway, but I don't know too many details on that yet. I do plan to go in two weeks and get more raw stones. I bought a 1.8lbs raw amethyst for $27 dollars (pic included) and it was worth it. I felt like a kid in a candy store and just couldn't believe all there was to see. They have all walks of life items and specialize in rocks/crystals. Really disappointed in my very short experience here. I always like to respect stores that require masks, but on this occasion I just finished cleaning out my car to put it up for sale so I didn't have one on me. This place has the gall to try and sell masks for over a 100% markup at the door after restrictions have been lifted to the degree that they have. I've heard rumors about Stevie nature of this place, but I didn't want to make judgments before I experience it for myself, I will definitely not be going back. I took some visiting friends here for some Christmas gift shopping. To my surprise and disappointment they had a young girl stationed at the door charging $1 for mandatory masks and taking your purses to hang on a community rack. Firstly, our city does not have a mandatory mask mandate and then you want to charge $1?! Secondly, leaving my purse out in plain view where someone can 'accidentally' take it is not my idea of good business practices. Clearly this owner is not a great business person and their measures are deterring shoppers who will spend $$. Needless to say I turned around with my friends and did not shop there that day. Leave your purse behind the counter, take a photo of it because that's what we ask for when you want it back. I stood by the counter while my son looked around. The lady that walked my purse to the bucket by the counter told me my purse is safe. I decided to stand close by and watched several people be offered the bucket and they picked their own purses. Never were they asked for a photo proof, neither was I asked. They have cameras everywhere, they worry about theft? I was told to enjoy standing by the counter in a sarcastic way. Terrible Customer Service! You can tell they are hiring just anyone off of the street and placing them there for transactional purposes only. No friendly or spiritual vibrations at all just a bunch of condescending tones and weird energy. Some of these people could use some sunlight and a happy meal. The middle aged woman with multi color hair has 0 people skills. I even asked one man to open up a case for me and I heard him utter "I am already over it" to the same woman. It's a sad day when employees complain about doing simple task and I believe this actually hurts the store in the long run because I will not be purchasing anything from them ever again. The sweetest vibe came from the elder woman tending the middle of the floor and what seemed to be a very new woman in the Tucson area. Terrible place. Everything usually overpriced which because of convenience of location I often overlooked. People generally rude which I also usually overlook. However with recent policies not allowing purses inside is ludicrous!!! I will not leave my purse within my car only to tempt someone to break in. And they very quickly said they wouldn't cover those damages if incurred. They are not the only only crystals and rock shop in town, not to mention they all have better energy and vibes and aren't trying to steal your money for "nature's treasures". Oh. Mm. Gee. The biggest crystal/stone store I've EVER been to in my life. I have been to a few amazing ones but this one takes the cake. The store was HUGE and I later found out they also have a "backyard" with bigger or bulk stones. I was in heaven. I kid you not. I spent two hours in there without a care for the world. The prices are reasonable for most- there were a few items I felt was a little overpriced but to each their own. Plus some of the raw crystals had a weird plasticky film over it- wasn't sure if it was just me that didn't like it. The salespeople were attentive (but not the annoying kind of attentive) and helpful when needed. They also sell pendulum, feathers, abalone shells, oils, dream catchers, wind chimes, salt lamps, tarot cards, and more. I discovered some new stones that fit my needs, unexpectedly. Nevertheless. I love this store. I will definitely be visiting every time I am in Austin. read more

Nature's Treasures is the best rock shop hands down. I usually visit the pallet section since the rocks are more in bulk and better pricing. But recommend both sides. The staff is really nice. I found what I needed, the guy that helped me was nice. The guy at the front door was ok, he wasn't so nice, he was a little rude yelling to people to keep their mask on. I've never been to a crystal a shop with such a wide variety of crystals so if you're planning on coming down it might be better to take a small list of what you're looking for and keep an open mind for finding things you weren't necessarily looking for either. This shop is so special. It has a rough crystal side to the store where they can drill holes in any crystal you want, beads and almost anything you can think of. Went to Nature's Treasures to start dipping a toe into being a crystal person and was super nervous - honestly expected to be upsold by waifish white girls on crystals, while having to pretend to be the kind of person who totally got crystals, but who also wanted to believe enough to make sure the sage smudge I was about to embark upon would actually take...you know, karmically. Despite my meltdown above, the Nature Way staff was so, so helpful. They pointed me towards some affordable sage and incense, which is what I'd come in for, and then explained starter crystals for me - and helped me assuage my worry about faking being into crystals, by suggesting that I not overthink it. If the crystals caught my eye, great, but no need to force feeling moved by their supposed healing powers. Because of a recent move and a second anniversary of being my own boss, the staffer helping me suggested citrine, rose quartz, amethyst, and black tourmaline, and pointed me in the direction of each so I could check them out sans pressure. Imagine my surprise at finding out each one was no more than $6. I did end up upping my amethyst budget a bit (never judge a crystal by it's cover?) but all in all, I bought some sage, two candles, three sets of incense, and four crystals, all for under $60 (and that was with a $15 hunk of amethyst). And now that I'm not overthinking the crystals, I keep noticing that some of the properties of the crystals - particularly the orange citrine and black tourmaline - have been doing great things for my work flow. Is it the crystals, or just positive association? Who knows. But at these prices and in such a welcoming atmosphere, it's fun to learn and explore. read more

I'm giving this place the star review that it deserves, regardless of my experience today:( I came in today around 3pm (11/26), I found an ornament that was super cute but it didn't have a price tag on it unfortunately. When I went to cash out and asked the cashier what the price might be, he seemed to be completely unhelpful in figuring it out (super rude and short) to a point that I just disregarded purchasing it all together. I've been coming to NT for years and have only encountered passionate, knowledgeable staff and amazing products! I've purchased crystals (Rock depot, bulk, and inside main store), singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, and smudging supplies, and I have rented their auditorium for hosting workshops. The quality of each item I've purchased has been spectacular and their prices are well within reason, made better by their frequent sales and frequent -buyer stamp cards. I also enjoy the fun atmosphere the staff create, being very playful with each other, showing a true community. On occasion, I've come in with a particular question for groupings of stones for a specific vibe, and was directed to experts who were able to explain things to my level of understanding. Also, I was educated on how to clean crystals I had mined myself in Arkansas, with the staff member taking an interest in the mines I visited and the experiences I had. He then directed me to specimens they had in the rock depot from those mines. Nature's Treasures is a fabulous part of Austin! I was really excited to come to here after a friend's recommendation. However due to work hours I arrived at 5:30pm, they close at 6pm. The store starts shutting down at 5:45pm and all the employees became very unfriendly. By 5:55pm they began yelling throughout the store to bring purchases to the register because the "registers are closing." At 6:02pm I was making my way to the register when something caught my eye and I stopped to look at it. A younger lady yelled to ask if we were ready to check out and when I answered "almost there" she responded coarsely with "we're actually closed". It was really off putting and made want to just forget about making my purchase. Learn from my mistake, don't go near closing time. read more

Employees here are quite friendly and will go out of their way to help you find just about anything you desire. They have a large variety of pieces from raw geodes to polished jewelry. There's definitely a little something here for everyone. I also enjoyed browsing the rock yard and the joint shop although there is a weight limit for purchases there. Be warned, there's a cat that lives in the second building and be prompt to close the door after you enter! Their prices are pretty fair and they have a lot of Quartz/amethyst/citrine in stock. I did have some trouble finding some rarer minerals but overall I walked out pleased with my purchases. There's a $10 credit card minimum. read more

I enjoy coming here when I'm in the Austin area and since Houston only has one great rock shop in Livingston. The selection of minerals here are excellent for most minerals except for Tourmalines. All minerals and rocks are all grouped together color coordinated. Which is great! However, they don't have a great selection of Tourmaline (just a small stacked tower of small crystals of mostly low quality bicolor, tricolor, single color Tourmalines. It's mostly Schorl (black) and some Dravite (brown). They have a matrix of quartz and lep. labeled and some without descriptions. I was told they had a few more Tourmalines at the counter, the ones at the counter can specialized for jewelry wrapping. Their jewelry collection has some great sales and gorgeous minerals. Don't be surprised if they don't have Tourmaline. Hopefully they'll get some better Tourmaline crystals in matrix, double terminated or crystals for their customers. But besides not having expectational collection of Tourmalines some of the employees aren't knowledgeable about the minerals. So, I was looking at the counter Tourmalines and I told the employee: "Wow, isn't this a great Indicolite Tourmaline and he said, "We don't have Indicolite. This isn't Indicolite this is Tourmaline. I said, "You realize that Indicolite is a type of Tourmaline, it's blue Tourmaline. He replied, "Oh, really.. I didn't know that". I was thinking this guy.. how you're not going to know.. you work in a rock and mineral shop. That guy needs to educate himself on these things especially working at a rock shop it should be natural for him unless that's not what they're promoting. This store has everything and more & so much to choose from. Sadly I was very disappointed at the customer service. It wasn't welcoming, nobody asked me if there was anything I was specifically looking for. This was my first time here so I was lost. I had some questions so I asked the girl at the register and she was rude. Gave short answers and made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. I personally like the unfished more earthy rocks and crystals and I was disappointed to find out that you have to buy them in bulk. After my 4th and now final visit I am forced to leave a review on this place. I've been collecting crystals and stones since I was a child. I own a crystal case and several items from all over the United States. I saw this place on yelp when I first moved to Austin and was beyond excited to visit. The stones they have are beautiful and the salt lamps are amazzzing. The service is a completely different story. I went with my mother that was in from out of town and gave her a run down on how I like the place but that every time I've gone in (some) of the ladies seem to have a bad attitude... Not the kind of place you would expect to get that from. My mother wanted to know information about who was reading, how much and if they were around. We asked Molly at the front desk and her response was less than expected coming from someone who works there. She didn't know where they were and that we needed to just wait around until they came back from what she assumed was lunch. After picking up on my questions being a bit irritating I figured that this place is simply just that way. My mother wanted to purchase a small stone and without fail the same woman Molly wasn't all too welcoming. I asked her for her name three times in a row until she finally uttered it. I don't like to point out negatives but that is what this place has left me with more than a few times. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

This place is pretty awesome. There is some cult type satanic things I saw and didn't agree with but the rocks and crystals, and there's hundreds of them, are super cool. It's amazing how many different ones there are here and I couldn't imagine how many different ones there are around the world. There was two ladies in there offering medium services which I don't believe in and a third lady sat next to me and began a conversation about the mediums and asked me my name. I wanted to say, well you tell me, but she was elderly and kind so I introduced my self. We chatted for a while then she went in to meet with one of the mediums. Now back to the rocks and crystals. The lady was telling me that each one has a different power but I don't buy that either but I do enjoy looking at them as they have some very unique ones here and some very expensive ones as well. All in all it's worth a stop to look around, but again, you may see some stuff in here you don't agree with, but to each their own, just leave me alone. read more

I've literally driven past this place hundreds of times, but had never gone in until the other day. This place has lots of rocks. I'm pretty sure you gathered that from the name, but they really do. There's an outside area with big rocks, and inside area with fancy rocks, and an inside area with really fancy rocks. This review is unique because it happened outside of the store. In fact, I rarely write Yelp reviews but I am so moved by my experience that here I am, sharing it with you all. I have been to Nature Treasures on multiple occasions and it has always been a pleasant experience. I wish I could say that every experience has been like my most recent. I met Nance outside of her working hours and we began talking. I had told her about my career goals, family values, and where I felt like I needed some divine support to stay on track. I watched as she listened intently to the conversation and at the time thinking how much I appreciated her listening skills because it's a skill set that is uncommon these days (in my honest opinion.) Before the conversation ended Nance asked me if I would be open to her making some suggestions based on our conversation and when I agreed she let me know that she would spend some time reflecting on the suggestions and message them to me. Several days later I received a welcome note and the delivery to Nance's promise that served WELL BEYOND my expectations. During our conversation, Nance was able to distinguish my most inner desires, goals, and values and provide me with an extensive list of crystals. This wasn't just your standard bulleted list. Each crystal had a description of properties and how they directly relate to what I am trying to achieve or where I need additional support - when it was appropriate Nance shared experiences of when she used the same crystals. "WOW!!!" I thought as my heart filled with immense gratitude. This isn't just an employee of Natures Treasures, this isn't just an individual who is knowledgeable about crystals and energy work, this woman is someone who TRULY cares about putting her knowledge to use in helping people and supporting them in being the best version of themselves. Her act in helping me was selfless, it was full of care and compassion, and her passion behind the entire picture and not just the stones themselves should be celebrated and admired amongst staff and patrons, alike. I will NEVER shop here again. I have been a customer for over 15 years. I was wearing a medium sized backpack purse because I carry my diabetes supplies with me and had no idea there was a bag policy. I was hounded at the front by a woman about my bag saying it was too large per their policy. She asked to put it behind the counter. I said fine but realized if I needed my insulin I'd have to ask permission to get my bag back. I was pissed at how this was handled so I went to grab my bag back only to be told not to they had to do it. Btw diabetes is a disability and telling me I don't have access to my supplies and having to ask permission is a big issue. Hopefully other people with disabilities don't encounter these types of restrictions. I know I won't cause I refuse to go anywhere that violates my rights under the ADA. read more

This was my first time in a store dedicated to stones and treasures but I have to say I'm addicted. Everyone inside was so helpful and attentive. They also didn't mind my vocal kids and all their 'ooh's' and 'aaah's'. I will definitely be returning to this store for more beauties. I went in for black tourmaline but was immediately turned off by all their fake citrine. Their "citrine" is heat treated amethyst and the shop is full to bursting with the stuff. At unbelievably high prices. The tourmaline quality was on par with shale. Flaking worse than a craigslist "free" buyer. Can't comment on the staff or other item quality. It is a large space and they have an attached event center space where they were hosting Spiritual Life Fair which was a collection of spiritual practitioners. Strongly recommend you do your research before buying gemstones or other "precious" materials. read more
