Not only did Gary come to our house a day after we called his office. He actually completed 2 houses on our block where we could see first hand how amazing him and his companies work actually is. As any couple would do, we had a few other contractors entertain us with their offers and services but didn't feel the way we did when we met with Gary. Gary had set up an appointment for us to meet his team, we were not committed to Ambassador at this point. This appointment, in my eyes, was another way to try to close us. But Gary didn't even talk about the project, it was more of a comfort level check and I 100% appreciated this. A project of this size, the amount of money behind it. It's not something easy. He allowed us ask any questions and emailed us all responses, we had A LOT OF QUESTIONS, but he was able to answer it all. On December of 2021, We were down 2 contractors, Gary's company and the other (wont mention their name). We went to see Gary, meet the team again, mostly all family, which I thought was amazing. After our 6th meeting we finally committed to using Gary and Ambassador Home and Improvement. He then introduce us to Lou T, our architect, another amazing guy in this whole process he was pretty much side by side with us the whole time CAN NOT THANK LOU T. enough for all his efforts and hard work! Doug F. our project manager, Doug was with us the whole ride. Step by step, piece by piece, tile by tile. He would constantly text us with updates or when items would arrive. He even went out of his way several times to meet delivery people at our front door if we weren't available. Great guy, after 6 months of being in our house. We still stay in contact. He answers a lot of my dumb questions. Thanks Doug. Kudos to you. All is all, I rarely write out reviews. But the work and the customer service that Ambassador, Gary, Doug and Lou provide myself and my family was world class and wanted to share this with the public. I already knew the old roof needed to be replaced but had dreaded going through the process. With a giant rain and wind storm coming the next day, Nancy called and actually arranged to have Gus Anax do the repair ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON so that I would not have to deal with the damage that was sure to ensue! I was amazed to have come across a company that actually cares, especially to this extent, about a potential customer! I have never before had the pleasure of such kind professionals working with me in so attentive a manner before. The repair was done, and I was able to sleep soundly through the storm rather than watching my ceiling collapse! Going forward, I received a quote to have my old roof replaced that was absolutely within the price range I was expecting. Of course, I was delighted to receive a quote that I could afford but equally important, I felt a full sense of confidence in going ahead with the folks at Anax. The crew did a great job, worked hard, and we even tipped each of the three installers $100 because we appreciated their work. Unfortunately, after the installation, the keypad did not work. I don't necessarily believe this was the installer's fault--it may have been a defective keypad. I ordered a replacement myself and simply asked the owner if someone could come back to swap it out. He replied but didn't give me a straight answer, he was actually nasty. I've sent multiple text messages over the past weeks. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely disappointing. When you spend a lot of money with a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and at least return a customer's message. It's frustrating that such a small service request has been completely ignored. Because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this company. A quality installation is important, but so is customer service after the job is complete.
