I have stopped several times with my toddler to grab lunch. The atmosphere is perfect and laid back. My son loves the chicken nugget kids meal and I try a new sandwich every time. FANTASTIC! Was in the area and friends recommended we get takeout from Nautical Deli - so happy we did. Everyone loved their sandwiches but I can only attest to the Cuban - which was amazing. Favorite Lunch Spot in all of GP and SCS. The Apple Hammie Sandwich is amazing!!! My next favorite is the Butternut Squash soup. The chips thatcome with sandwiches are awesome too! This place is good. It's a little expensive and always crowded. The chicken they use for sandwiches is disgusting. I always remember to not get anything with chicken on it. It's a good solid deli, and a staple on weekends for us. I love going there and getting their soups and pasta salads especially. The sandwiches are consistently good as well. Ate here for the first time a few days ago and had the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich and a cup of Wisconsin Cheese Soup with a fresh roll for $12.95. It is a bit pricey but my dad had been here before and knew the sandwiches were massive so we split it. It was FANTASTIC!!!! The soup appeared to not be house made and I didn't care for it all that much but they had 12 different soup options so when I go back I will just try something different. I was shocked -- SHOCKED -- to find a vegetarian (maybe vegan? I ordered without cheese or the 1000 island) tofu sandwich here. Seriously. When I visit my parents I resign myself to having The Horrifying Amounts of Fish Sailing Weekend ... or just eating kettle chips on the boat. But we stopped here and hey, there it is on the menu! I had it a few times awhile ago, and it's possible it's more flavorful with cheese, but I had to throw some hot sauce on for some flavor while we were out sailing. But that it is THERE! It's great! And the tofu is actually pretty well made -- I wouldn't think a random deli (well, not that random, I've been going to various delis in this space since I was born) would get it right, texture-wise. I feel it might need a marinating, though. Soy and ginger? Hot sesame oil? Something. I know I ordered it without the advised accotrements, though, so that's my deal. Anyway, this place has just about anything you'd like in a deli, especially for me, plus my parents absolutely love it. Thanks for the tofu! I'd like to add: I know a lot of people have a texture issue with tofu. I don't, but this was fried and maybe breaded, and was really, really good. I think even my mom, Hater of Tofu, likes it. I've been here a couple of time for lunch. The food is outstanding. I love their sandwiches. The only downside is the price. It's a little too expensive to frequent. I went in there the other day for lunch. I got a soup and a sandwich and the bill was $9. Yikes. BUT, they included a teeny tiny bag of chips and an itty bitty pickle. Last sandwich I had was not very good. One of the ingredients was hummus, which I could not find. The bread was terrible. There was a reddish spread I could not identify, maybe it was the excuse for deli mustard. Another time the sand which supposedly avocado, found one, very small, thin slice, mixed with greens.
