I was completely disappointed. I stood at the podium for more than 10 minutes, waiting for someone to greet me. And when they did, the young lady was extremely rude and offputting. I did not feel welcomed. I didn't feel comfortable asking questions about the food so I just ordered anything. Now I must be honest the food was amazing. However, the attitude from this woman was unnecessary. The garlic naan was delicious nicely seasoned. I loved the ambience was so elegant. But again the only thing that sticks out to me was the subpar service. My actual waitress tried hard to redeem my visit. However, it was just too far gone for me. I just asked for my items to be boxed and I left. This is not an experience that any customer should feel. No one should have to call the restaurant just to get them to come to the front to seat them. In all honesty, I should've just walked out of the door. But I wanted to give this restaurant a try.

We frequently do a to go order of butter chicken, rice, and Naan bread. It's full of flavor and very filling. I've never sat in there and ate so I can't give any info on experience, but to go hasn't failed me yet! We always order extra Naan bread!

Absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough, the food, the service is incredible. Just look at the pictures, it tastes even better! Easily the best Indian food in town and honestly my favorite restaurant in town, I have been coming here forever and everything is consistently delicious! 5 stars!

Great service, great meal definitely worth a return visit. The Mrs and I wanted Indian cuisine for out date night this weekend. Found Nawab on Yelp. It was worth the drive but please beware they no longer offer the buffet and they are closed between 3-5 pm. Otherwise, the meal was outstanding. If you are semi spicy lover level 3 is spicy enough but a level 5 is like dining with Satan. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and their salad was so fresh and delicious I was trying to palate the ingredients! This place does not disappoint I promise.

I ordered butter chicken and garlic naan from this restaurant over the phone, but when I received it, the naan was completely burnt and inedible. This isn't the first time I've had issues with their food -- the quality is often inconsistent and disappointing. When I called to let them know about the burnt naan, instead of apologizing or offering refunds they act like its okay to eat burnts foods. I demands refund but they wont refund me back. Very unprofessional service and wont recognized their inconsistent food quality. I won't be ordering from here again.

Salted Lassi... first and last. I will be sticking to my mango lassi but I had to try it.

I love love love this place and I am so happy I was able to visit again and can't wait to visit more regularly. The food is always delicious, curly is creamy and seasoned to perfection. The service is always friendly and just ready to fill any need you may have. I saw "salted lassi" on the menu and I had never had it, I usually always get mango lassi. The server/owner spoke highly of it and he did mentioned it was an acquire taste so I knew it could have or not have been good... it wasn't. Definitely salted !! It may go well with certain dishes maybe? It was also mentioned it is a popular drink for summertime to help keep you hydrated. Maybe I will give another chance but, I doubt it. Mango lassi for the win. I enjoy the setting of the restaurant, it is not overly done but elegant and clean. This place is always great for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend to everyone to check it out.

We walked in at a slow time but was seated and served quickly. The service was great. Our server gave us a number of recommendations and was friendly. I ordered my go-to meal; butter chicken (comes with basmati rice) garlic naan and mango lassi. It was delicious! I especially liked the naan. Not burnt but nice and fluffy. Everything had good seasonings and flavorful.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Nawab. Never disappoints. Lamb Vindaloo, Chana masala, Palak paneer, naan.

Good food, good service and ambiance. Nearly empty on a Saturday at lunchtime, it's a nice sit down spot for casual biz or first dates.

The "Virginia Iced-Tea" was really good. I don't know what made it Virginian. Maybe the fact that it was cold and had ice did. The Naan was good, albeit crispy. I'm used to more of a softer, chewier naan and so that was surprising. I had to try the butter chicken and it was a little different too. I still like it just fine, though. Rice was absolutely perfect! Some of the stuff on the online menu didn't match the menu in-house. So I would not believe it if you're looking at the one on their website. Shrimp was so spicy! Now, for the really bad parts. At first, I was pleased to get the complimentary water... until I realized that it was room-temp. Everyone else's was so chilled, there was condensation. Everyone else in the place got very large portions, mine were small. Everyone else got checked at least half a dozen times, I was barely acknowledged or straight-up ignored. When there was interaction, me and my party were treated very rudely. My guess is that it was because 1. they were scarred by the other people there that were being very rude and irritating first. And 2. some of the staff are very preferential when it comes to certain demographics and not very partial to others. Love that old double standard, it's even more delectable than anything on the menu! Final word on this place: not the best, not the worst. Service could be a LOT better.

When you enter, you order at the counter. If you are dining in, you choose where you'd like to sit, and your food is brought out on trays. They do use paper plates and plastic utensils, but again, it is fast-casual. They have a vegetarian side of the menu and then a side with meat. The only meat they offer is chicken. We got the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Curry and garlic naan. We asked for it to be VERY mild. The flavor was all very good but I would not call it mild lol that's probably my only complaint - it was a little too spicy for me. I have been to other Indian places that offer American mild, medium, hot AND indian mild, medium, hot. I think they realize that they are able to tolerate a lot more spice! I would say my meal was probably "Indian" mild. I realize spice is subjective, and I am a wimp! They offer a variety of different drinks in their cooler and they have a filtered water station. They do not offer ice at all. Our food came out very fast but was still PIPING hot and fresh! The customer service was excellent. The gentlemen at the counter was extremely nice! During our meal one of the women from the kitchen came out to use the restroom but stopped to ask us how our meal was and to let them know if we needed anything. Very sweet people! It was more surprisingly flavorful than half of the food I ate in India when I lived there. If you are on the fence, go! The Palak Paneer was rich, deep, balanced. The Lamb Biryani was equally shining. Tender, complex seasonings and unique. But the Samosa Chaat was like a whole episode of flavor. So many different things going on. Lassi is real, not yogurt and puree. Garlic Naan was aromatic without being pungent, and had a sweet sea salt finish I still can't explain. Even the Raita yogurt sauce was way better than anything I can remember. Price is reasonable, especially given how much you get and will inevitably need to package up. Punjabi Bread Basket was great, especially with the sauce that was included. Rice was good, not crunchy. The gulab jamun was amazing. Vegetables were tasty. I really liked the Cucumber Gimlet Mocktail I had, very good stuff. Portion sizes were HUGE! Plenty of food! Spice level was left at 1, and still had plenty of heat! Only complaint, were the prices. Extremely overpriced. I would recommend if you are with a group, order one thing and split it. It's enough food for a lower price. I definitely plan on returning.
