I opened up DoorDash, ready to comb thru the horrible fast food options & pick the least offensive. When I saw Naz's as a late-night option, I was so siked. So I went for it. My first experience with Naz's was at midnight in my own home. When it arrived & I opened up the bag to see my platter, I literally gasped. GASPED! I couldn't believe something so delicious looking appeared on my doorstep at such a late hour. It also tasted just as good as it looked. So now I'm hooked. I love you Naz's. Incredible bang for the buck, $11 gets you SO much food, and if you get the 2 platter deal on their app it's even better. One platter is good for a couple meals, so flavorful and delicious. Service is lightning fast. I place the order and immediately leave the house and it's always on the counter before I show up, and I'm maybe a mile away. This is the kind of place that could get away with charging more, but it's so awesome they don't. Many many poor man meals have been joyously spent here in the past and present. read more

Rating: 4.5 Decided to give a review since I order from here often. It's a small shop in Cranston that offer halal foods including shawarma, gyro as well as sandwiches and wings. They do offer shared parking space and inside has few seatings but most people just do take out or order delivery. Inside is pretty simple as its just the counter to order and the kitchen behind and few small seatings. I've had few of their menu but my personal favorite is always the combo plate with beef/lamb and chicken shawarma. I always get their white, green, and bbq sauce on it with side of hot sauce. Their hot sauce is very spicy so I prefer it on the side as I tend to stay away from too spicy food these days. I crave this combo plate here and there and always end up getting them to satisfy my craving. Their other menus are okay for me. Service is usually pretty good and quick. I usually just order a head of time to pick up or order delivery. Overall the place is a very solid halal food option in RI and may be the one of best I know around. Only thing I do wish they fix is that for some reason their app doesn't work properly for delivery so I have to usually call or order through uber eats. read more

I've been to this place a couple times now and every time I come here I am blown away by the portions for their price. A 8 inch bowl of food filled to the absolute top. So much food for the money. I love Indian food and curry. This is like a fast food Indian place. It's quite small inside, not so cozy, but still little tables and chairs. The staff are amazing and they do a great job. I love the lamb and chicken combo plate. The gyros are filled and very filling too. I'm also a sucker for their fries. I came here after watching a clip from buns and bites. I had never had a falafel Gyro before. This was my first. I got it with everything and with the white sauce and hot sauce after reading other peoples reviews. It was amazing. I then went to Thayer Street and tried one from East side pockets, since they are pretty much famous for their's. It was a little bigger, but it was not nearly as flavorful. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop but the kitchen staff was "rating" me out of a 10 (dude considered me a "3" for those who are curious) after I dealt with a 9-hr shift so that made me feel uncomfortable. Said things like "I'd be cancelled" and "Jupiter makes you stupider". Front-of-house girly gave awkward energy bc she prolly knew I heard. As someone who also works in the restaurant industry, y'all need to do better. RI is too small for a kitchen staff to be acting wack. I was excited when I saw the sign that a place like this was coming months ago. I was expecting an experience similar to Eastside Pockets on Thayer Street. Sadly, the expectations fell short somewhat. I ordered a combo wrap with falafel and gyro. While tasty, it was cut into small pieces unlike Eastside. Combined with the sauces on it, the wrap became quite messy. I tried an Order of fries, and they lived up to expectations. The servers seemed young and eager to please. We ordered the combo platter and added 2 falafels with white sauce. We also ordered the regular chicken wings. The order wasn't ready as it said it was but we just waited an extra five minutes. The rice platter portion was good enough for 2 people. We wished we asked for more white sauce. The lamb was seasoned well so was the chicken. The chicken wings were decent size and a good flavor. Ok...I dont like having to leave bad reviews for anyone,..but I had read so many glowing reviews for this place, so I placed a take out order...the seasond fries,..the chopped cheese steak and the Buffalo wings...they all where awful...the fries cold ,hard, but most importantly zero seasoning,..the wings where horrible, zero crunch, drenched in Buffalo sauce, but most importantly almost raw in the middle,..a waste of money, never again, I hope this helps someone, this is an honest review.sorry forgot to add the chopped cheese was gross zero taste, no seasoning at all much more bun then meat! read more

I've done takeout twice this week and I'm hooked. The rice bowls with hot and white sauce are incredible. I've had the chopped cheese which is a perfect combination of a 5 guys burger and Philly cheesesteak. Want to try the wings next visit as they look great. Takeout experience has been awesome.
