I spent several days meeting with all six companies and learning all about the roofing process, materials, etc. Ariel was by far my favorite person. Other companies gave me a very slick salesman vibe, but Ariel came across as a genuine person who operated with integrity. I received 6 roof quotes, ranging from ~$23k to ~$38k, and NC Roofing Inc's quote was the second lowest. (the lowest quote was only a few hundred dollars lower, and they only dropped their price after I told them the quote I got from NC Roofing...). After we signed the contract, Ariel and NC Roofing team had the roof fully installed, new insulation put in, and all new gutters installed in less than two weeks. Incredible! The cleanup was also fantastic, there was zero debris left in the whole yard. We were able to choose from multiple different shingle manufacturers, so weren't limited to one, (unlike other companies I spoke with). The process was easy and straightfoward, Ariel went through the pros and cons of various shingle companies and materials, and helped make the whole process simple to understand. As evidence of the character of Ariel and his team: Ariel even offered to take our dog out to use the restroom while my wife and I were both at work and NC was doing the roof install. We needed to replace a 30 year old roof on the house we just purchased as soon as possible. We worked with Niv to get a quote for a full roof replacement and metal roof -- he was very friendly and professional, and we went with NC due to this and good reviews, plus the quote was better than the other one we got. Pablo was our project manager once we got started, and again was friendly, professional, and was awesome about communication and keeping us updated. We ended up getting an insurance cancellation notice after already committing to getting the roof, but were worried that the roof might not be done in time. Pablo was really great about staying in contact with me regularly for timeline updates and helping to push up the schedule for us -- and still made sure we got the custom blue color that we really wanted. The metal roofing team led by Ivan was also excellent and I can't imagine a better roofing team to work with. Everyone was professional, friendly, did great work, communicated well, and again the total cost was less than another company we looked at. They also cleaned up really well after the roof tear off, and every day on the job site (I've seen this not happen with other roofers in the community). I highly recommend NC roofing for all your roofing needs. Pablo and his crew, especially Raphael and Roman, worked from 7:30am to nearly 6:00pm daily until the job was complete. We went from an archaic, flat, no pitch pond of a roof, to a sloped, double insulated pitched roof in 8 days! They tore off the old tar and gravel roof, cleaned up the deck, repaired all the dry rot areas, framed in 3500 square feet of pitched roof, installed foil backed insulation, installed foil backed sheathing, and installed a three layer torch down roof that will last for at least 40 years, with little or no maintenance. Roman finished up by installing seamless gutters and downspouts all the way around, one was even 68 feet long!! They not only gave us a high quality roof, but saved us a fortune in heating and cooling costs. The house stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, thanks to the insulating barriers and the white granular roofing product. Not only are we happy with the workmanship, but the price was very competitive and affordable. Simply put, they are a great roofing company with a 5-star rating! I connected with NC Roofing last month through a Roof Maxx rep. I assumed their bid would not be competitive given that they were recommended by a nation-wide service, but was pleased to be proven wrong. NC Roofing's quote was actually a little lower than other local companies and-after corresponding with Niv about the details of the project-I felt confident that I was dealing with an expert. However, what sealed the deal for me was the timing. Niv was able to squeeze my job in within two weeks of the quote-in the middle of the holiday season to boot. As the service date approached the forecast was only showing a 36 hour rain-free window. I assumed we would postpone the job, but Niv was able to put a double team on the job and get the whole thing done in one day! That entailed ripping out 2000 square feet of 40 year old asphalt shingles and just as much 120 year old cedar shingles beneath and then installing plywood sheathing, moisture barrier and new asphalt shingles in their place. We love our new roof!!! As project manager, Itay Cohen, and his crew did a wonderful job from start to finish. Itay was very professional and knowledgeable, providing answers to our questions. He even climbed up the roof to inspect before he made his estimate. We had bids from 3 other contractors, but we decided to go with NC Roofing. The price was comparable, offering GAF Golden Pledge warranty and using GAF shingles and roofing system. We also wanted to replace our plastic gutter guards with more durable metal mesh, and requested that our old rusty chimney cap on the roof be repainted, to which Daniel and Itay agreed for a minimal price addition in the contract. The crew of 3 men started early, worked continuously, and stayed late to cover most of the job. The next day, they worked on steadily, efficiently and they were finished early in the afternoon! I got three quotes for my full roof replacement and Niv was the only guy in the lot who clearly was a roofer -- climbed up, took full measurements, explained the differences to me, where cost came from, all of it. He came back with a better quote and timeline than the competitors. The team came out for the work the following week and I'm thrilled with the results. Obviously time is a factor for fully knowing the quality of the work but it looks great, I got photos of the full stages to review and can guarantee all layers and work were done, and issues I hadn't even known about were discovered. Let the crew know ahead of time if you have a non-traditional garden and what to be careful of, if anything just so you know whether or not they will be able to protect the plant. Check-ins on the work happen at the start and end of each day, but Maya was always available and extremely quick with any requests or replies by phone. Great experience! read more

My first time trying to look for a company to do my whole roof. I was very anxious because I didn't know where to start and specially who to trust! It took me a few weeks to finally decide because I would ask questions, check reviews, and meet. I am extremely disappointed with the tile reroofing service provided by this company. While I expected a professional installation, the workmanship was consistently below standards. ​Several tiles were cracked during the process; rather than replacing them with new materials, the crew attempted to "repair" them using adhesive. Additionally, the alignment of tiles were visibly uneven, and the underlayment was exposed in several areas, leaving the roof looking unfinished and unprofessional. ​I eventually stopped raising concerns with the crew because it became clear that the quality was not improving, and I wanted to avoid further complications. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend their services to anyone looking for a high-quality roofing solution. read more
