NCG is my favorite theatre group to go to, hands down. Free refills on drinks and popcorn, they have free butter and popcorn flavoring which is KEY, the box office is inside and you order everything at once, and it's not a huge chain so it doesn't feel as corporate as others. This location isn't as nice as the one in Marietta off Powder Springs though. It's more crowded, lots of teenagers, it didn't feel quite as clean, and the seats aren't as spacious or have as much recline. We live about as far from that one as this location so will likely stick to our favorite, but wouldn't be disappointed if we ended up back at this location. read more

I went to the movies with my 2 kids and spent $60 in popcorn, candy and drinks. I ask for a tray to so my 4 year old could have his own thing for popcorn and concessions refused. It was either spend 7 more dollars or listen to my 4 year old whine about not having his own popcorn. Ridiculous. Now I know why people sneak food in. read more

We really like this theater for its balance of price and quality. We prefer to see matinees and it's never too crowded. Even at busier times, the parking lot and lobby can easily accommodate large crowds. read more

Excellent theater, makes going to the movies fun again. Always clean and comfortable, what really sets it apart is the friendly and helpful staff. Even when it's busy they smile, and actually look like they mean it! I think the real test of a business is how they handle the situation when something goes wrong. Last week I went to see the last showing of a movie I had been looking forward to for months... and we were informed when we arrived that the projector was having problems. Of course, I was very disappointed, but I would've simply left, realizing that mechanical issues do happen. However, the lady at the counter immediately called in her manager, who gave us free tickets for another movie that night as well as at a future date. Truly exceptional service! This was already one of my favorite theaters, but now I'm telling everyone else how great they are, too. Also love that you can take your ticket stub across Cobb PKWY to Chik-Fil-A and get a free sandwich. Price isn't bad for dinner and a movie! read more

After devaluing their loyalty program - no more free movies without notifying customers on their email distribution list, I tried to see Alien: Covenant tonight. The projector was broken - dark screen, out of focus picture - essentially unwatchable. I complained to the manager, who was aware of the problem, and, in exchange for me leaving, gave me a refund. I didn't have to pay for an unwatchable movie. BFD. Any manager with an ounce of customer service skill would have offered a free movie at another the me plus popcorn and a soft drink for disappointing customers like that. Clearly, NCG management just doesn't care about their customer's experience. Back to the bigger chains for a few more bucks. read more

Getting kind of ridiculous how many commercials they air before even starting the movie trailers. Took 20 minutes from the scheduled movie start time to actually start the movie. Ushers also left the lights on for the first 10 minutes of the movie. read more

I love it, very spacious concessions and free refills. The Xtreme theater tends to get a little packed but is still super comfy. I would recommend holding off on seeing very popular movies first day in Xtreme theater for this reason. read more

This is the nicest, newest, bestest movie theater around here. We come here often to see the latest and greatest. They finished the construction and have a huge new wing of awesometown theaters. I can't remember what they call it, but giant, comfy recliner-y (non reclining) style chairs, stadium seating, the biggest screen imaginable, and crisp, bass-y, rumbling sound. We came to see avengers at the 10:30 AM showing which was the first showing in the morning. I got me a large popcorn excited for the fresh hot popcorn to kick the movie off right. I sat down reach my hand into the popcorn into my utter disappointment it was barely lukewarm. I put the first bite in my mouth and it was as if it was old popcorn possibly from the night before. I am not one to complain but I don't only had a couple bites of the popcorn and there is no way I could handle anymore throughout the movie. I went back to the front desk and ask if they could trade out the popcorn with a funny look on their face they looked as if they did not understand what I wanted. I told them that the popcorn tasted old. They told me to try to go to the other kiosk of popcorn and maybe it would be better. Honestly the cleanest movie theater I've ever been to, with regards to the floor and the seats as well. The ticket prices were also really low. I've haven't paid only $8 for a movie in the evening in a long time. The one theater they designate as "NCG Xtreme" is basically IMAX lite and is very impressive. Not the best experience. When we went to get popcorn it took the people behind the counter a few minutes to notice we were there because the boys were busy flirting with the girls. There was a huge piece if broken jagged platinum laying where the butter comes out. I picked it up brought it to the front and gave it to the boy behind the counter because it could have hurt someone. The popcorn was old and it was all around not a good experience :( read more

I love this theater! Stadium seating, self serve drinks and you can fix your own popcorn! Free refills too! Only downside I have found is the immature teens that work there. I am practically married to Ncg Theaters! I started going to Ncg Theaters 2 years ago. This location is near my house and by far the best. Not only are their prices most reasonable, they have free refills on both popcorn and sodas, 4 new drink machines with loads of variety. This also helps cut down on lines oh and on top of that they have another drink/popcorn station on the xtreme side of the theatre. My first visit after evaluating the prices, we thought surely the quality would be compromised somewhere; however, that's not the case!! Their theaters seating, space etc are just as impressive! My family and I now refuse to go to another place, as we are so spoiled here. I highly recommend! read more

I like this place! Very big and cheaper than AMC or Regal. The time from getting tickets to actually watching the movie is really impressive. Very few commercials and tons of clerks to sell tickets. Things have taken a turn for the worst at NCG. Prices have gone up. They have stopped refills on popcorn except for large popcorns. Theaters are need of updating. Popcorn does not taste as good as it did a few years ago. Still a good theater, but movie tavern has recliners with $5 tickets and small popcorn. In need of an update. read more

My family LOVES this theatre! It is much more convenient to purchase tickets and snacks with one swipe of the card(and in one line). The unlimited refills on soda and popcorn is the kids favorite part. The restrooms are always clean, and the stadium seating is so comfortable :) read more

I enjoy every visit to this theater and theaters are not my thing. This theater is a great value and I wish this company had more franchises around Georgia because their current business model is very effective. I really think people around here enjoy this theater a lot! Their popcorn prices are actually reasonable and that is super hard to believe. Free refills on drink and popcorn is a great value. I usually get the large. I am not sure what other sizes get the free refills. Also, take your popcorn home, it tastes great as a left over. Waste of time. I wanted to see the 7:25 pm showing of Lucy today and drove to NCG Acworth only to be told once I got to the ticket clerk that the movie had technical difficulties and would not be playing. Technical difficulties I understand, but having to stand in line, let alone drive all the way to the theatre to find this out baffles me. I have the NCG app but there was not even a notice there that the show was cancelled. I suggest at minimum putting a sign on the doors so people don't have to wait in line to find out there tech problems. Better yet use the app to let your customers know about last minute changes. read more

Great place to see a movie. They are just off a main street which makes getting in and out pretty easy. Seems like the theater is always clean (including the restrooms) The chairs glide / rock back and forth which make it comfortable and I really like the fact that once you pay (theater pricing) for your drinks and popcorn, you get unlimited refills. They also offer many seasonings for your popcorn! Love it! read more

Terrible how kids are treated here. 2-3 weeks ago my son had a problem here and was asked to leave after paying for tickets and refreshments for a incident where no proof was presented to me upon request. The manager's only solution was to give me the corporate office website which you can only email. I'm still waiting 2-3 weeks later for a response......Wow! What a way to treat your paying customers! I love this theatre! My first time there I was caught off guard because you order your tickets and concessions at the same place. Then you realize you get free refills on any size popcorn and drinks (who does that!). All the theaters have very bright christie 2k projectors and superb audio. Some of the the theaters are quite small but still have good seating. read more

I love NCG theater in Acworth. It's nearby and always has a great selection of movies. The kids that work there are all very helpful and polite. I love getting my candy/popcorn at the same time I get the movie tickets. Who wants to wait on two lines? I would have given them a higher rating then 3, but the last time I was there I could see that the headrests of the chairs were wearing out. It kind of brought back memories of the dollar theater. But this isn't a dollar. I'm hoping the refurbished, cause I'd hate to have to go back to Barrett Pky again. read more
