Honest honest honest! I was a little worried about finding a good, honest auto shop after moving out to the East Coast. My husband and I have brought our cars to the larger dealerships several times and have not been that pleased with the quality of service. What a difference Nealey Auto Service has been! I am so happy to have found these guys! Just a good, friendly, professional, and smalltown feel repair shop. I've brought my car to Nealey several times now for some work and the car always comes back within the same day (today it was only 2 hours for several repairs!) washed and vacuumed. I really appreciate how honest they are. AJ and his wife put together an estimate for me for all service needed, but due to the age of the car (97' Grand Am) and the fact that I don't drive it a whole lot), he didn't even recommend doing some of the repairs but just monitoring at this time. I recently had my pick up truck in for some minor maintenance that was recommended. This included replacing the fluids in my diffs, transfer case, and transmission. Although I knew to perform this as a precautionary I had not expected my truck to shift like butter once I received it back. It was so smooth and quiet I felt like I had a new truck all over again. I though some minor noise and the occasionally clunky shift was just a characteristic of the truck. I am very pleased with the service and the work that was performed. It was also explained that because of my mileage I qualify for coverage on the components serviced. I dont know of any other shops that offer this! Ill definitely be back! Thanks again!! read more

Kenny was great and very communicative about the status of repairs and letting me know how long the service would take. A loaner car was offered when the service took longer than anticipated because the part that had to be ordered didn't arrive when expected. Written estimate was emailed with priority listed for each item. This was very helpful when going over the list of repairs to decide which needed to be down now and which could wait until later. When I got my car back, it looked great and drove great, and the final cost was $150 less than the estimate. I will definitely be bringing my car and my husband's car here for future maintenance and repair. read more

This team was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. I was able to make a booking quickly, they kept me updated via email and calls. they even had this great service where i got pictures and descriptions of everything that was wrong with my little car and how wrong/right it was(There was a lot of pictures!). This is a DIY project for me so it gave me really great information to work from. I got an oil change at the same time, with no problems and a good price. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. As a woman, mechanic shops are always a concern about if they will try to get over on you. Kenny, Stephanie and AJ were all amazing. Their customer service is stellar! They get right back to you and keep you updated on what's going on with your car. I asked a ton of questions and they patiently and thoroughly answered everyone of them. I feel like they treated my car as if it was their own. Aj and Stephanie (and staff) work so hard to make sure you receive the absolute best customer service and they are really clear about what repairs are necessary and the cost. I always feel like I am being treated fairly and they make sure I understand what work they will be doing. They also have really helpful appointment confirmation emails and I have access to all of my repair records---very convenient! Nealy has sent us a few flyers in the mail, not needing any service at the time we ignored them. The last one however was timely, we had an issue with a repair that we had tried to do ourselves. It was hard to admit that we didn't know what we were doing, but the mechanic at Nealy took it in stride performed some magic to make our vehicle run again. We are so glad we have found a local mechanic we feel comfortable with and feel they charge fair prices. They will certainly being seeing more of us in the future.
