The tech was impatient and reluctant to address issues like debris in the paint and the fact that my nail is split on the side. She just said "your nails are weak" and that was that. I asked her to file it, she said it would mess up the design. Like she didn't want to correct the oversight if it meant she'd have to redo that nail. The owner knew I wasn't happy and offered to fix it if I come back. No ma'am. I'll get somebody else to do it. ON TOP OF THAT, when the tech put lotion in her hand, I let her know that I didn't want any. She opened the bottle and scraped the lotion off her hand back into the bottle. No gloves, just her hand. I'm sorry it's one thing if you do that at home with your own personal bottle of lotion, but not with something that you're going to be using with other customers. WILD.

They were able to fit me in as a walk-in and got to work right away. However, instead of using polish remover, the nail tech used a nail drill. I don't recall other salons doing this, but I didn't put up a fight. It was deeply unpleasant and left my nails all banged up. Once they were done, they talked me into doing a new manicure. I said why not, probably because I like the look of polish on my nails. The nail tech rushed through it. The layers were uneven, left polish on my skin, and there were bubbles in the application. They didn't tell me when my drying time was up, so I sat around for a while and then dazedly walked toward the front to pay. At least they didn't charge me for the removal, only the manicure, which was a very reasonable price.

They have extremely comfortable massage chairs. My favorite thing is 'Volcano Spa Pedicure'' ,for $20 more on top of a normal pedicure , you receive extra treatments and get a 10 minute foot and leg massage. The perfect treat after a long day. On top of all that, you can pick out nail designs on Pinterest and 9 of 10 times, they can do the design. I ALWAYS get compliments everywhere I go and my gel nails still look good after 5 weeks! For customers who complain about Dip, they should really switch to gel manicures. Dip absolutely ruins your nails, that's why they are probably messed up, especially if you have fine nail beds. Gel makes your nails way stronger, allowing the manicure to last over a month. Getting gel off is much easier today than in the past while dip still messes your nails up when removing. Then, they have quick dry nail polish that I get on my feet. It dries fully by the time my manicure is finished. It might just be me but my toe nails last a month too. However, expecting a dry fast nail polish to last more than a week is rather hopeful. Again, gel gives you so many opportunities to decorate your nails in many ways, stronger. Most of my friends have switched to them. I almost don't want to write a review ,so the secret gets out, but these ladies deserve the appreciation! They are true artists and so kind! I paid for a voucher that promised an hour-long facial, but instead was given a 30 minute facial. In other words, I wound up paying full price for a half-facial. I was very disappointed. And, of course, what can you do about it -- by the time I realize it's only been 30 minutes, my clothes were already back on, I was at the front desk settling up, and I took a glance at my watch to see about getting to my next appointment on time. The aesthetician had good technique while working with my face. She really did -- nice movements that were both gentle and confident. But her extraction was incomplete; when I got to a mirror, I noticed that there was still much work to be done. Also, the overall price is a bit high, given the neighborhood, the location, and the quality of the space itself. This is not a "relaxing" day spa. You will spend the entire time hearing the blow dryers of the hair stations, right outside the door. You can also hear the in-store radio and all the chatter. Again, I could have overlooked all of that if they hadn't deprived me of half of the service I had requested. I am very disappointed that they participated in this LivingSocial offer, presumably to drum up business, and then only offered half of what they promised.

I went in this week for a manicure and a pedicure. Basic polish no gel. I got the most basic…read moreservices for both. While I will say this included some nice amenities with the pedicure like a leg scrub in the hot towel steam, I cannot speak for the quality of the actual polish and work done by the technician. This is probably the worst overall nail product. I've been left with from a salon appointment. The nails are textured and peeling three of them have already peeled off. When I paint my nails at home, I can usually keep the polish on for about two weeks and this hasn't made it three days. The workers were very nice, and overall the salon was relatively clean, but I will not be returning. When the bottle of white that I chose was starting to run a little dry, a different white was substituted for one nail and, to me, the difference is stark. Overall, the service took about two hours which surprised me because with a basic mani pedi typically you're out much quicker than that. The technician started over on my nails multiple times, completely removing all polish, to try again, which was odd to me. From the pictures you can see that the final product I was left with was very bubbly and uneven. I paid $60 in total and the value was very much not worth it.

I've had fill-ins at other salons, even when I couldn't make it to my usual spot, and I've never left with nails this uneven or poorly shaped. I raised concerns during the appointment and asked for fixes multiple times. At a certain point, it's not on the client to keep repeating themselves--the technician should take responsibility. She was also watching a show during the service, which didn't help. Saying I confirmed satisfaction at the end ignores that I was being polite after already voicing frustration as I didn't ask for a discount or anything. I spoke to the front desk because nothing was actually addressed the front desk because of the unpleasant experience I had. Then dissatisfaction with my actual nails. Which is shat anyone would do. Also I didn't trust the hygiene after I used the bathroom causing me to find a reason to cancel my pedi. You shouldn't defend these nails. Please be for real. These are absolutely undeniably trash.
