Bought tickets for Mesto on a Saturday night. My friend and I arrived and were instantly taken by the how large the venue was. BUT note that the majority of the space is actually for reserved tables/booths for bottle service. The mezzanine/balcony is also for reserved table service. There's a small GA pit section at the very front (this gets cramped) and another tiny GA section at the very back by the bar. I also noticed that GA also congregated along the sides between the tables. So all in all, I would say your best chance to fully enjoy the space is to get a table with your friends. After realizing this, my friend and I decided we wanted to get a table last minute. We went up to the front and secured a table for ourselves. Shout out to Mia for the hook up! The DJ line up was pretty solid, and to our surprise, Martin Garrix made a cameo appearance with Mesto and the place went absolutely wild. I am from Washington visiting NYC for the first time and came to this club with my enhanced drivers license the bouncer looked at my ID didn't bother to scan it and told me he couldn't let me in after letting countless others through when I asked why he told me he just couldn't let me in when I asked again and explained I was visiting and that what he saw is my enhanced ID he said show me your passport which I did not have he proceeded to be very rude and downright mean. I've been to Nebula several times for different events, and they often host corporate gatherings. It's a really nice venue with a well-organized layout. I visited Nebula for the first time with friends the other evening and was disappointed with my experience. The location is a strong one, right by Bryant Park, and the venue is very large. The ambiance was very techno, EDM, etc energy, at least when we went. Not my vibe, but I appreciated it was a female DJ! The bouncers are terribly unprofessional and rude. Khalifa, a new bouncer, denied my 24 year old friend's legitimate driver's license because he didn't believe the picture was her since she was wearing glasses in the picture and not in person. He publicly shamed her, berated her to tears, and refused to be held accountable by real ID verification from the police. And there are a lot of bad clubs in NYC ( as well as good ones.) came for my friends bachelorette party and bought a table and let me just start off by saying, as soon as we pulled up we saw the line outside was super busy (it was raining & freezing) so we were glad we got a table to skip the line. The crowd is terrible- more European based or filled with transplants thinking they're the shit for being in NYC, and they are RUDE ! The way to the bathroom is down these narrow stairs, whether you're going or leaving the bathroom you have to walk through this narrow staircase and my friend got pushed onto the floor by some huge 6 ft dude, and the bouncers at the club did nothing- didn't kick him out or anything. Asian male promoter ( didn't catch his name) was terrible, promised us with our table we could go on the stage for a bit but then was shocked when I complained about our table having no view & no stage access.. and lied and gave us a terrible table where we were basically in the corner of the stage left to the point where we couldn't see anything not even the artist playing... the only good thing was the female Asian manager who helped us. Last night my friend and I went to see DJ Mesto at the Nebula. We pre-purchased the tickets on DICE app for about $30/ticket. There were people lined up outside starting at 11pm. By midnight, it was jammed packed. Great lighting, sound and music. I can't complain for the price that I paid. read more

This business has been around for about a month. I went there to see a DJ/artist for the 2nd time that day/night. On this particular night that I went, tickets were sold in 3 "tiers". What the website fails to tell you is that paying for a higher cost tier does not give you more benefits. It just means you missed the prior wave(s) of cheaper tickets. What is also aggravating is that they sell all tiers at the same time. A friend of mine had also bought the highest tier when the mid tier was available as well. So, I'm not the only. It's a shady practice. Make only the cheapest tier available or offer differences per tier. People are already struggling in the pandemic and if they want to have fun, they should be able to without having to feel gipped. The website mentions "Upscale casual dress code enforced" for most/all events at the night club. What they fail to tell you is that sneakers are still acceptable. I had traveled from out of state just to bring dressy shoes, and then I had to walk through some stony crooked bricks on NYC streets. Very uncomfortable. The place didn't seem to have men's stalls or they were in the same area as the urinals- kind of weird. It was not obvious one could walk upstairs, but they could. I had a Bright Fox drink here and it was awful, lol. Getting into the club was awkward because I had to wait 10-15 minutes even though I had my electronic documents and card ready beforehand with pre-purchased tickets. Glad I went, but I wouldn't want to go again if I had a choice. One good thing about this club is that it is truly upscale itself- excellent sound, beautiful inside. I usually don't review clubs but since I'm a periodic patron, decided to share my experience. This is still relatively new premium midtown club. Usually a younger crowd mixed with promoters and their club girls for show. Tourists sometimes wander in that have money. This is a midtown premium club. Be aware, there is a dress code. If you're not sure how to dress, just elevate your wardrobe before you end up deterred away or advised to shop late at local old navy/h&m for proper clothing requirements, mainly men. This is not a casual venue, think chic/elevated style, men must have pants with belt loops and dress shirt or high end t shirt. I see this happen every time. Dress to impress. Unless you have an rsvp, you are not guaranteed entry, even with one, you still might not have access. The tables are expensive, Wall Street/Hamptons night in the city prices. This is for certain income bracket. The more affordable drinks are non alcoholic. A shot or a single mix drink will cost you half to a full day wage. Don't expect happy hour here. It can get crowded but usually still room unless it's a celebrity event. That can get intense but still a vibe. Tables can run from $3k-10k depends on the night and how the door staff feels. There's karaoke rooms in the lower level next to coat check and restrooms. It's pricey and there's VIP upper level of club. It's really small but has a view. The a/c is felt throughout the club but when it's a celebrity event, be prepared to sweat so guys wear a tank top air out or mesh top. The djs are a hit or miss, depends on your vibe. Mostly electronic music genre. I like more top billboard remix djs than their electronic unless it's a good house mix. Their website usually list the set list as usually 3-5 djs in one night. Usually after 1:30am it gets better and that's when celebrities usually make their appearance or perform. This is where billionaires and celebrities frequently low key attend. You never know who you might see. The led movable panels are an aesthetic. Reminds me of a scene from a movie like blade or John wick scenes but smaller. The light team does a good job with the light effects. Manageable for the eyes but might want to wear shades if you're led flash sensitive. This is also an accessible venue that doesn't discriminate too heavy but they have a niche. I don't want to say they discriminate but let me say this; Not everybody can be an Olympic athlete or be an engineer. There's plenty of other places to have a good time, you don't need to be here. If I get turned away for certain events, wouldn't matter to me. I don't need to be in everybody business. But when I do attend, I dance and enjoy myself. Went here for a NFT event. This is the old circle, if I recall correctly. - pretty large venue for a club; larger than marquee/lavo - audio system is pretty good - not overly loud, but clear highs and excellent bass - bar downstairs and upstairs - good liquor selection - upstairs seating is incredibly uncomfortable - the benches are hard as a rock Overall, I enjoyed it. Came here last night with some people I met at another place who said they had connections. We had 4 people - 3 women, 1 man, and went through the VIP line. Once we got through, a bouncer comes and retrieves myself and another girl from the group and brings us both back out, he eventually let the other girl in and I was left standing there with a few others. I asked the bouncer if I was getting in with the rest of my friends and he said "probably not" so I wasn't going to stand around for nothing and I left. I have a hunch the reason I got left outside is because I'm plus-size. I was wearing well applied makeup, had my hair done, was wearing heels and a dress, clearly looking better dressed than most and yet I'm the one who was left out. Other than likely not being let in because I'm not thin, the bouncers weren't nice to literally anyone except a couple promoters and were definitely charging for the guys. came here for "breathe carolina" and got a interesting experience mostly from the music and the area. it is a small venue that is kept clean, maintained and looks great. Drinks are EXPENSIVE as expected of any night club. The drinks are made well and the view from the flow of the stage was pretty good even the ceiling dropped down and interacted. The 90s babe NFT party here was the best party I went to for NFT NyC. The club itself... well, the floors were dirty. The VIP lounges were not the cleanest either... the security guard made me put on my shoes. The cocktail bartender said she wasn't having a great night like she hated her job. The cocktail bartender at the top VIO area was friendly and kind all the female bartenders gave me attitude and unhappy vibes... I don't get it. If you don't like your job do something else. Either way - I had a wonderful time. The photo op was cute, the Dj played some pretty good music by the end of the night the dancing was on the lounges and the near the Dj booth and the lighting was super fun on the ceiling. It's everything I would expect a night club to be. I like that there is a security and it's not tooooo big of a space. I liked that the VIP did have clean bathrooms and fancy toilets. I liked that you can go in and out to vape but the smell outside was like garbage and sewer right by the door. People were vaping inside anyways later in the evening I noticed, I like that half the upstairs VIP section overlooks the dance floor, too. This is just a fun space and there's like 3 bars downstairs and one up for conveniently grabbing a drink and cutting down on long lines. I danced like I haven't danced since - Idk a high school dance? Lol it was so much fun even though my feet hurt and we're blistered by the end. If I could give less than one star I would. When your line takes 15+ minutes...that blows. When you find out that it's taking so long because you have one security guard pleading to the others to let in the underdressed (lingerie from head to toe), UNDERAGE girls? Disgusting. One security guard seems to have morals, yet no conviction, and just shrugs his shoulders when the one who believes the place "doesn't have enough girls" leads them to the back doors. I hate that I gave this establishment a single penny of support when buying my ticket. Artists performing here might want to consider the large amount of listeners that would rather leave than be caught dead entering a place that seems like it would rather cater to the whims of older men wishing to party with little girls than the appropriate clientele for the venue. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB. I had the worst experience here for my 24th birthday weekend. The bouncer took one look at my ID and said they don't accept those IDs. It was a very much REAL Massachusetts ID. I even had a second form of ID to prove to him and he didn't care. Very rude and inconsiderate. A previous bouncer scanned it while I was in line and it was all fine until I got up front. That previous bouncer said he had no idea why he denied me. Regardless, I was not let in for no good reason. I spent money on tickets for no reason. $60 down the drain. Not at all how I wanted my New Years to play out. Spent 130 on tickets for me and my friends to spend New Years here, was enticed by the 5 hour open bar. I assumed that this place knew better than to sell more tickets than they should - I was wrong. The open bar was basically just some kind of juice and some other kind of cheap alcohol like Tito's or something to that effect. The cups were small and you could only order multiple drinks if you were ordering for someone else. Towards around 11:15 it started to get really packed. Like *really* packed. Too packed. So packed that it took us 15 minutes to go from the door where we were sitting to try and catch a breath back to the line for the open bar. Forget about trying to get a drink in that line at that point anyways too. Music was good while we were there, probably the only upside. Do not come here. I cannot emphasize the phrase "DO NOT COME HERE" enough to see any DJ or artist perform or any kind. I came to see a DJ perform, which was meant to start at 11:00 p.m. (that is the time that doors were supposed to open). The doors did not open until 12:30 a.m. Actually, when I arrived at 11:20 there was a truck unloading the DJ's equipment. I paid $40 per ticket for general admission. General Admission means you get a closet sized dance floor to feel claustrophobic in for the entire night (: unless you want to pay much more for the VIP service, which didn't seem worth it considering the tables were way overcrowded and people were shoving each other. The entire operation is a mess. I've never waited that long for any music artist and I've been going to these for 15 years. I will not be back and I would not recommend this experience to anyone who values their time because this business will not value yours. There are plenty of other nightclubs in NYC worth your time. I should also add that because the general admissions area was so small and therefore overcrowded, I was forced by a bouncer to move to the sitting area outside of the venue. So I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to be told that there are too many people on the dance floor and that I have to leave. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. It's beyond RUDE, SEXIST and HOMOPHOBIC. I don't usually bother with Google reviews, but Nebula has deeply offended me and my friends. We booked a room from 9PM to 1AM. About an hour ago, they casually told us that our room wasn't ready and we should come back at 10. We were stuck waiting on street, and a bunch of our friends had to bail because of this nonsense. Finally, we start our night: the entire karaoke system is a joke. Microphones don't work, the speaker system is garbage, and we had to ask the staff to fix it multiple times. The whole system even broke down for 10 minutes in the middle. It gets better. We decided to leave early because of the bad experience and politely asked for a partial refund. Enter the "boss" of Nebula, who treated us like dirt, saying it's either pay up or stay put, there's no one else we could talk to, he's the boss. He said: 'I'll leave you thinking about it.' and then slammed the door and left for 3 times during the negotiation. He said so much disrespectful garbage, told one of my male friends he's not 'man enough' to talk to him. He said: 'AS A MEN, I ONLY WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE LIKE A MAN. WOMEN AND MEN THINK VERY DIFFERNTLY. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TALK TO SOMEONE LIKE YOU.' I couldn't believe I heard something like this in the middle of New York at 21st century. And after all that, he had the audacity to demand a tip. Seriously, what planet is Nebula living on? Thankfully, we managed to get another manager involved, but we still had to pay for the whole table, only excluding the tip which is more than 1000 USD, even though we only had the room for 3 hours and spent 1 hour dealing with this shit, received the rudest treatments and personal attacks. I went there dreading all the reviews only to be treated like a VIP at the front line, not sure what all the low ratings are about. There was a great deal of friendliness and politeness among the security and staff. I knew flash wasn't allowed, but I was allowed to wander around and test my new camera for an hour before management politely ask me to stop. Maybe I was there when they all got raises or something.
