I've been to this place 3 times now. Lucked out picking a great dinner in the first try, the Chimichurri Steak Salad with Cauliflower rice. I want to start out by saying that their food is delicious! The 3 stars come because we ordered take out this morning and spent nearly $100 for breakfast for our family of 4, and when we got there to pick up our order, our drinks were prepared incorrectly, or not at all. They corrected this, but when we got in the car to leave we realized our drinks were still wrong, along with avocado toast, ordered with eggs, for an additional $4, were left out. The service is also not incredible. I find that most times I go the people taking orders are rude and dismissive. I'm honestly disappointed because I really do enjoy the food here! read more

We're new to the hood and I'd been there before, but after a few visits in the last couple of weeks, I can confidently say, this place is great. Lots of gluten free, vegetarian etc. types of items, but I personally don't have any dietary restrictions and love exploring the menu. The steak bowl is fantastic and I highly recommend getting the butternut squash noodles as the base. Great drink and snack selection, inside and outside eating and right on the 101. I ended up getting a veggie bowl, which is my dream meal full of sautéed vegetables and butternut squash noodles with cashew cheese on top. So exciting to find a 100% gluten free restaurant! I was so excited to have fried chicken on waffles for once instead of staring at my husband eating it. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Waffles were okay. Tasted great but they were so large and hard/crunchy that it was impossible to eat it as a sandwich. Would have been better if they used a thinner waffle iron and maybe didn't cook it quite so hard - a little bit of give would be better. Otherwise the aioli and coleslaw served with it was very good. My daughter had a classic burger with a brioche bun. Bun was a bit too soggy with all the sauce and in retrospect, I should have had the sauce put on the side for her because it was a bit too spicy for a 7 year old. She said hers was okay and same with the fries. We will definitely return as there were lots of other items I wanted to try - being gluten free, it's like being in a candy store seeing all the options! Service was great by the way! This is the perfect place for all the health nuts out there who also love flavor. Lots of variety in terms of bowls, salads, smoothies, etc. The line can get a bit slow, but it's worth to check out at least once IMO. This is a hidden gem in Encinitas. We've driven past it a hundred times without even noticing it. It's in a tiny plaza with three parking spots, so street parking is really the only choice. Went here for breakfast and the wife and kids gobbled up the eggs Benedict while I had the açaí bowl and grilled cheese left untouched by one of my kids. Eggs Benedict was a favorite and well-balanced with flavor. Açaí bowl was disappointing. The açaí was very liquidity and missing a listed ingredient (bananas). No mention of this, just realized it when I glanced at the menu while leaving. Overall a good place to grab a quick breakfast. Would have been five stars minus the parking and açaí bowl. read more

First and foremost the this place is absolutely amazing from the food to the staff. My wife had the veggie bowl with butternut squash noddles (vegan) and I had the Cubano - both entrees were delicious. The cubano has so many different flavors and the bread was so fresh. The lavender kiefer soda and blue berry kombucha is very tasty and went perfect with our meals. It's official; I AM ADDICTED. I love this place! Food, coffee, staff, location, and ambiance is perfect. Let's just set things straight for the few negative reviews people have left: 1. Parking lot is small, but there is free parking all along PCH in both directions. 2. Calling things "expensive" and giving one star for it is subjective and detrimental to small business. Providing healthy ingredients, scratch made food, and being allergen/diet friendly isn't cheap. Go to McDonald's if you want cheap. 3. Staff is always friendly and helpful. (Maybe you're the problem) All in all, I would highly recommend the falafel tacos, "the best" pizza, avo toast, cinnamon roll, basic butter coffee, & crispy chicken salad. read more

I was invited to stop by today for the "soft opening" of Nectarine Grove. Kate the owner is warm and friendly. She has done an amazing job on remodeling the space, choosing the right furniture and furnishing, and making it the place to go. There is seating inside and out. The employees were friendly and professional. I prefer eating organic and so this is my new place to eat. The menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner!! The selection is balanced and the prices are reasonable. I ordered a salad and it was delicious. I was told they will be offering beer and wine very soon. read more

I love this place bc they offer good tasting healthy options. My big complaint about this place is their fly (insect) problem. There's a problem when I'm swatting away flies during my entire meal. There's got to be something they can do to reduce the amount of flies flying around landing all over the food. I'd hate to see the kitchen and how many flies are flying around and landing on the food back there. Again love the food just wish they would take care of the fly problem and make it easier to eat there. Hopefully management will take note and take action. read more
