Love this place! You can tell the chef takes pride in what he does by his attention to detail. Amazing red potatoes with dill and other herbs- perfectly seasoned and pan fried to perfection. Good breakfast burritos and juevos rancheros. The eggplant parm sandwich is to die for (and I don't typically like eggplant)! The prime rib, pork, southern chicken and blackened salmon all are solid choices. And the desserts, oh the desserts! The raspberry chambord cake was moist and sweet and just perfect. The almond joy pie I think is a little misnamed since it isn't like the candy bearing the same name. But no matter- It is sooo decadent and good, with an almost Boston cream quality to it. I highly recommend eating at Ned's, especially for desserts! Ned's simply blows the competition out of the water (especially places like Gas): Superb food, prepared with fresh local ingredients; reasonable prices; friendly staff who will gladly provide recommendations; warm inviting decor- this place has it all! read more

We took my parents here back around the first of the year. To be fair, I don't remember much so will rate 4-stars and leave it at that.

Always a solid and hardy meal, comfort and new foods alike I have not had a meal yet to disappoint. The house dressing on the salad is both unique and tasty and the South Dixie chicken is my choice of entré. It can get really busy at lunch time when I typically go and if I dont have enough time to sit and have a meal I call ahead and they have a drive though you can pick up in. Certainly beats any other drive through options around haha. I recommend trying a lunch and exploring the dishes they have to offer ! read more

This is a quaint little restauraunt, it is very cute inside and everything about this place is awesome. The service was very good and the atmosphere is fun. The food was all good. For an appetizer we got the calamari which were average but the fried peppers with it were great! For dinner I got the Dixie chicken and my dad got the Pork Chops Shnitzel. Both were very good but I liked the chicken better. It was very moist and tasty, and the sauce on top was awesome. The mashed potatoes and vegetables on the side were average. For dessert I got the key lime pie which is made in house. It was tart and was very refreshing. The creme brulee was ehh. I would recommend this place and would gladly come back. read more

Just get the calamari. DO NOT get the fish tacos. They were disgusting. The blackened shrimp BLT salad was just ok. But the calamari was AWESOME and included little fried cherry pepper rings, which were so yummy. It's cute in there, too, and the beers weren't too expensive. Service was great, too. read more

Saw the good Yelp reviews - called in my order - ready to go when I got there - as the chick on TV says, Delish ! My Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked to perfection and bathed in a delectable sauce, rice cooked perfectly, sauteed veggies in just a little bit of another delicious sauce. Went there on the recommendations of two local ladies. Maybe they know which menu items are good. We didn't have that insight. I ordered one of the features - scallops St Jacques - they were tasty but the ratio of filler to scallops was about 90/10. The tiny pieces of scallops were completely overwhelmed by all the bread. I called ahead to ask about gluten free and was told they had a GF menu. That was true, but there were 2 entree choices. No soup option and only a house salad available. Mike opted for a cheeseburger with no bun, broccoli & carrots. The burger was a pre made patty - think SAMs club. He requested it medium. It was hockey puck well done. Our waitress was delightful. The price was not cheap. For 2 poorly prepared entrees & only water to drink, our bill was near $30 including tip. To be fair, I saw several entrees pass our table that looked very good. The burrito was huge and looked good. There was a chicken dish that looked nice too. Maybe we both ordered the wrong thing. But I'm not going back to try again. Only gave 2 stars because the service was excellent. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped at Ned's Southside Kitchen on our way back to Miami and I have to say it was one of the best meal we had during our time in St. Augustine. The food was well seasoned, the portions were a nice size, and the prices was excellent. In addition, the location and deco was perfect. We will be visiting again! YAY! UGH!!! The only thing in this place that pleases my pallet is the corned beef on rye. My wife likes the flounder (probably talapia). My pets refuse to eat our doggy bags from this place. We looked for a place that offered gluten-free and vegetarian options for our family, and we are sure this one came up on our search! We were traveling back home to Orlando from NYC and this was our final stop. What a GEM! The food was absolutely delicious. All four of us loved our meals. Hubby loved the Bang-Bang shrimp and my South Dixie Chicken was to die for. Excellent key lime pie and peanut butter pie for dessert. Kids loved their food as well. My service here was spot on but that was about it. I ordered a medium rare burger and fries. The fries were cold and the burger was so over done I couldn't choke it down. I had the Southside burger which was good but not great. Burger could've been a little thicker. It was hard to taste it under all the onion straws.
