I was really excited when I heard this place served New Haven style apizza, my favorite style of pizza. I've tried many other places that claimed they had the New Haven style pizza, but nothing comes close to the originals in New Haven. Sadly, the case is here as well. So we tried my mother in law's address also on the southeast side and hers was in their delivery zone. As somebody who's heard fantastic things about Need Pizza, I was excited to go try it. We came in on a Wednesday night. Our server was friendly enough, and the beer menu was great. The pizza however I was not impressed by. The toppings were skimpy and the red sauce lacked flavor. The portion sizes were huge, our medium pizza came out on a full sized sheet tray, however the pizza simply lacked depth of quality for me.
