Have been coming here for two sessions (so far, booked 8 in total) of laser hair removal. They are just about $100/session including legs, arms, and underarms, which I think is incredibly well priced. I've never seen Dr. Sandhu and she's not in the office - I know for a fact because one day when I went the practice was unlocked just for me and it was by a laser tech, Francyne (whom I love). Since it's just laser I'm not really fussed about this but I would certainly want her in if I had some sort of procedure or filler done. read more

I got BOTCHED from a neglectful aesthetician I went in for TruScuptID to target 3 areas of unwanted fat and received 3rd degree burns on my shoulder blade because the aesthetician, Lindsay, neglected to change the grounding pad for each targeted area. After the procedure, the aesthetician blamed the machine/equipments for malfunctions. I then went to see Dr. Sandhu, and she BLAMED ME for getting burned because I was SWEATING. Both times, I was being lied to about what went wrong and who was at fault. At the time of the appointment I didn't know what to expect from the whole procedure. It was only when I went to a different medical spa, that also had TruscupltID, was I told the truth about the whole incident. I told the nurse my whole experience with Neem Spa, and she told me exactly what happened: The aesthetician left the grounding pad on 1 area for too long. To reduce risk of burning she was suppose to change the location of the grounding pad for each targeted area. So she was suppose to change the location of grounding pad 3 times because I was treating 3 different areas(my stomach, flanks, and arms). I'm sad to see the bad reviews here. The doctor, she's an absolute artist with botox. I look amazing every time, natural and 5 years younger. She's an absolute sweetheart and cares about what I want and uses her eye and skills to get results that look best on me. I do think the cost is a bit higher than other places, but the results make me not want to go elsewhere as I fear others may not be as skilled. My only complaint really aside from the cost, is the front desk girls are a bit aloof- I'd like them to be more proactive with helping me find discounts and getting my points and stuff as well. read more

I went to neem for hair removal on the upper lip and chin. Total ripoff. They're more expensive than any other laser hair removal service, and the work I received was definitely not worth its $800/8 session price tag. Also, theoretically they have a doctor, but be forewarned, you may never see her around. The tech doing my service was nice enough, but the service itself was poorly executed . The tech routinely missed areas of my chin, forgot to tell me we'd also paid for doing the the middle eyebrow area for two sessions, etc. this was started before the pandemic, and because of all the regulations, scheduling delays and business closures messing up my sessions for months, I was able to get 3 additional sessions. Still, the end result is super patchy, with lots of very long hairs remaining. Not impressed, will be looking for a different place for laser treatments in the future. 8/16/21 update: editing rating based on willingness to take feedback and reach out to clients to resolve issues. Shady and deceitful spa, I booked an appointment and canceled within the cancellation period and asked for my deposit to be refunded per their policy and I was met with a resistance and a very rude receptionist. You think I would have never called back after that, but I did as I decided I wanted to go forward with the sculptra procedure. When I called Neem Spa to re-book, I was asked to provide ID in order to use the care credit card that they had recommended to me which is not their policy and then when they realized that was discriminatory, I was told by Stacey that they were out of sculptra supplies for the rest of the year and its July, just so they won't have to book my appointment because they were being judgmental and obviously racist. read more

I've been coming to Neem since 2019 in both Somerville and Winchester for a variety of services and have had nothing but high quality results from kind, warm, experienced providers, whether it's Dr. Sandhu herself or anyone else who's worked with me. They may not be the absolute cheapest provider you can find, but the prices are not outlandish, and do you want the future of your face handled by the absolute cheapest provider?? I've been going to Neem Med Spa since 2014 and I absolutely love it and the way my skin looks! I regularly get facials and Dysport every 3 months and have also tried the laser therapy for facial skin improvement (dark spots/sun spots). They always take such great care of me and my friends are very complimentary of my glowing and youthful-looking skin. Recently, I received my second salt facial with Lindsay and she just made me feel so relaxed, rejuvenated and amazing. My skin was glowing and perfect when I walked out! Based on their good reviews, I thought of buying this medical spa a visit. I spent a lot of time before my visit checking the best facial for my conditions (Acne-prone skin) and I made the decision to go for a chemical peel, I eventually checked many websites and Youtubers to get a sense of the results and to have fair expectations. Now, to be honest, I do know for a fact the skin improves slightly, yet after my chemical peel at Neem, I did not see any result. What was surprising is the fact that I did not peel at all, even though I checked and she said it will peel and even recommended to stay in. I went to the Lynfield office a few years ago for a "free" consultation but upon checkout I was told it was $500 because my consultation was with the Dr. I was not Informed of at the time the appointment was booked . After some debating , I was told I could use this $500 towards services . Great . I had Intended to have something done so I settled on that only to find out what I wanted to have done with was not available at the office I went to . I would have to travel an hour from my home . Amazing staff. Dr. Sandhu is knowledgeable, and experienced. She has done Botox as well as lip injections on me. She is patient, and cautious, which are both important traits I look for before I let someone inject anything into my face. I completely trust her. The results have been wonderful. I've been getting Botox for over a decade, and this is the worst I've experienced. The injections are uneven and did not cover the full forehead, so I have some very strange facial expressions at times. The only saving grace is, as others have stated, the effects wore off after about two weeks (as opposed to the4-6 months Ive always gotten before). This is such a ripoff place in terms of price. I went in for a PRP hair treatment, we talked and she decided to have the procedure done right at the moment. I went for it bc I was desperate and she got advantaged of that. While I still had other scheduled appointments in 3 other locations including downtown Boston. One PRP (or vampire facial which i also have interest in) every other locations vary from $400 to $600 dollars. She charged $1200 one sessions and $3000 for three sessions. I have been here twice now. The staff is excellent. Dr Sandhu is very knowledgable about all the procedures and guides you all the way through the treatment plan. I recommend it for everyone. My initial experience was nice, everyone is friendly in the office. I sat in with the doctor and told her my concerns I've done Botox once before and told her the doctor before recommended I get 20 units at a different location. I would have gone back there but they only do Botox injections on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I work both days so I could not make either day. I looked at the reviews for neem Medical Spa, and the reviews were grade so I decided to come here. The doctor here recommended that I get 37 units I thought it was way too much but I took her word for it. A week later I still saw lines and went back to the doctor and she agreed she injected four more units. She told me next time I come and see her that I will need 40 units, which I thought was way too much I'm 37 with good skin which she also had told me I had good skin. 2 months later and I still have frown lines and movement on my forehead. This place was not cheap at all. I feel like I got ripped off and spent way too much money. Next time I'll make sure I call out sick from work and go to the previous place that I use before in Revere. Don't waste your money on Botox here. I have large burns on my chin and cheek. I think the people that work there are a bit inexperienced and immature.

I am quite unhappy with the results of coolsculpting. First, it is over-priced, definitely more expensive than other places. Talked to my friend after the procedure and he said another place is almost half the price of this one. The staff are also quite unprofessional, and the machine fell off multiple times during the procedure. Most importantly, it does not work as advertised!! After over two months I went back to assess the procedure performance, the lower area of abdomen hardly becomes smaller or reduces any fat based on before/after comparisons. The staff were even reluctant to give waist measurement and had to modify the numbers under my eyes to make the measurement smaller than the initial measurement numbers, which is rather dishonest. They suggest me to take two more treatment and it really sounds like a scam to let me put more money in. Do not waste your money and time coming to this place. read more

I am 35 years old. So I wanted to have a good looking glowing skin. So I decided to try the vampire facial . The first time it was done by a experienced esthetician that used to work for this office in Somerville she did a really good and I saw the results. The second, OMG it was done by an esthetician who was just trained with vampire facials and it was awful. She literally damaged the skin underneath my eyes. I didn't use to have wrinkles there. After this facial was done my skin got very dry and underneath my eyes I got wrinkles. The Esthetician who did that facial was very rough and she went over and over under my eyes that it hurt. I told her that it was hurting but she said that it was normal it was part of the sensation. After a month past the facial I didn't see any results. On the other hand, my skin looked old and dry. Now, I have to deal with creams or other treatments to get my skin underneath my eyes back to normal. She ruined my skin. read more

I have had a number of microneedling treatments at this med spa and I was really happy with the results, cost and staff members. Despite, when I started my hair removal laser treatment, my experience changed completely. I had serious side effects in my skin, and they did not only give wrong advice (they told me that it was ok to continue my treatment, when in fact it worsen it). When it got really bad, and I requested to schedule an appointment with their doctor, I had to wait over two months... (ridiculous) and on the day of the appointment, when I arrived the doctor was leaving already, and just quickly talked to me for 2 minutes...it was the worst and less professional customer experience ever. They did not provide any solution, but also it looked like they did not care. Never coming back.
