Neighbor Burger + Sweet Potato Fries
    Nadchen A.

I've come here for brunch only to be met with an hour wait time for a table. This happened twice before, but third time's the charm! I've heard great things about this place so I was happy that it worked out this time. Inside was full so we were seated outside under the shaded area. It was nice outside. The Neighbor Burger was incredible. The wagyu patties were thicker than I imagined, hearty, and great. The caramelized onions were amazing and that secret sauce? Amazing. It was a light sauce that complemented the burger so well. And that side of sweet potato fries were great too. I loved everything I ate. Service was excellent, the waitresses were helpful and swung by our table a couple of times. I felt like the wait time for our food wasn't so bad. Prices are reasonable too. I have no complaints. We had such a great time and I look forward to coming back here.

We had a large party of 15 people and food was delivered quickly and in abundance. I tasted almost everything and my highlights were the lemon blueberry pancakes, skillet hash and caprese sandwich. I'm not a pancake person and I'd consider ordering them if I'm in the area again. Everyone enjoyed their coffee drinks as well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There is outdoor seating and if you have a party of 6 or more be sure you are all there at the same time to be able to be seated. Check this place out if in the area. You won't regret it.

Love this place. Never had a bad meal or bad service. Super friendly staff, an amazing brunch cocktail menu, and oh yea...the food.... Today my son had the always AMAZING "Pop's Plate" with 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, smoked kielbasa, bacon, home fries, and a house-made biscuit with jam PLUS a triple stack of warm pancakes topped with homemade butter, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and drenched in warm maple syrup....and a side of their famous chorizo gravy for the biscuit.

What a cute place to grab breakfast or lunch! When we walked in, it was crowded but we were still able to be seated. Our waitress brought us a carafe of water and cups. We ordered mimosas and they were good. For lunch, I decided to go with the Mediterranean chicken wrap with a side caesar salad and it was delicious! The wrap was filled really well! I would really like to come back and try a breakfast dish!

Wow! Was in the area for some breakfast and this was DEFINITELY the right spot! The hostess and my waitress were very friendly and you could tell they enjoyed being there. I ordered the garden skillet and it was bangin! The grits were sooo creamy velvet-like and had a deep flavor. I liked the addition of the fried Avocado for some crunch. The scene was laid back, not too loud and just a great place to be on the weekend. Will be back!

I went here with my wife and daughter. They said they would give it a strong four. I would give it a strong three so we are compromising :-) The service was fine. The amount of food was plentiful. I got the grits spinach peppers skillet. It has a different name but I can't recall it. They got the chicken and waffles as well as the Reuben. I enjoyed my meal, but it was slightly salty and tasted like it had a good amount of butter in it. Again, tasty enough, but a little too much salt and butter. My daughter really really enjoyed the chicken and it was so much she didn't really dig much into the waffles. That looked really good. We will definitely be back next time. We are here.

Food was great, flavorful, good presentation and good portions. Ambience was elegant, retro, simple. Service was ok, we sat at the counter, not much interaction with us as we were not drinking. Those who were drinking received more attention from the staff. We didn't mind.

We've eaten at Wine Down several times for brunch, and while it's not spectacular, they've recently moved brunch to a different building and they've become worse for it. The menu, and food, had actually improved, but that's the highlight of the experience. It was my wife's birthday recently, so we made reservations for our family and called a few days later to add two more, the woman's response was ".. that's NINE now..." as if it was an inconvenience. My first thought was to cancel and take our business elsewhere, but we kept our reservation because we only live 2 minutes away and it was the easy button. When we got there, it was abhorrently loud; to many people in to small a space; everyone competing to talk over each other. Next, we had to wait for our table 10 minutes beyond our reservation time only to be squeezed into a table best suited for 7 at the very most; I sat on the corner to allow space for others. In the end, we preserved, and when calculating the tip for the less than enthusiastic waitress, I accidentally noticed she had already charged us a 20% gratuity but never mentioned it; unfortunate. As long as they maintain brunch in that space, I'll never visit again, not at all enjoyable when you have to shout at the person next to you for conversation.

Everyone knows and loves Wine Down, but did you know they've opened a new sister restaurant?! Located where Wine Down's lounge used to be, right next to Wine Down restaurant, is now Neighbor of Wine Down. Neighbor specializes in brunch dishes and I'm so excited there's finally somewhere you can get brunch every day of the week! They've done a lot to the restaurant to give it a homier feel and I think that really adds to the brunch atmosphere. We ordered 3 different dishes, and not one of them disappointed! From the breakfast tacos, to the eggs Benedict, to the country fried chicken, everything was absolutely delicious! I will say while the staff was very friendly it was a little slow, but we tired to overlook this as we know everyone is having staffing shortages at the moment. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend this spot for brunch any day of the week!

My friends and I were always lucky to snag a table for us those times. But coming in the morning is really pleasant. I've only gotten coffee here in the past, so this time we got food. I got a Pistachio Croffin (croissant muffin) and we shared a Berries and Cream crepe. And that first bite of that crepe was absolutely delicious. We were planning on sharing that crepe with another friend, but that crepe was so good we demolished it haha. We ended up ordering the Spinach Pesto crepe to share for later instead. But wow, I have nothing but praise for these crepes because they blew me away. The Berries and Cream crepe was just amazing. Fruits tasted fresh and juicy. The crepe itself was perfectly sweet. And the whipped cream cheese filling inside was light and creamy. I couldn't ask for more in a fruit crepe. Also the light drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top? Chef's kiss. And then we tried the Spinach and Pesto crepe. It had all my favorite things inside, so of course I loved it. I loved the savory pesto spread inside the crepe, the spinach, ricotta, and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The tomatoes added a nice acidity to balance and the balsalmic glaze tied it all together on top. It felt like applause roared in my mouth. Also I can't forget the Pistachio Croffin I ate too. It had great texture, and had that subtle nutty flavor from the pistachio. I really liked it. Anyways, I'm a big Morning Brew fan. It's poppin' in the afternoon and it's tough getting a seat, but it's not hard to see why. I prefer the early mornings for a more quiet and less chaotic atmosphere. Love you morning brew! I will always remember how those crepes rocked my world and I'll definitely be back.

Now, the place had more noise than a family reunion after someone mentions politics--two teenage softball teams carrying on, laughing, living large. Hard to fault that. Better than silence so thick you can hear your own regrets. Food showed up quick, which is about all you can ask when you're hungry enough to consider eating the menu. And it was good--honest good. Not "tell your mama about it" good, but solid, dependable, "yep, I'd order that again" good. Prices didn't make you feel like you'd just financed somebody's boat, either. Beer was cold--like it ought to be, like it better be--and the waitress understood to be there exactly when we needed her and vanishing when we didn't. That's an art form. Now the atmosphere... well, it had all the charm of a place that once had big decorating plans and then decided, "Eh, this'll do." A little on the bare side. And that, right there, is about the highest praise you can give a place without writing a love letter to the chef.

We ordered the million dollar bacon and Purple Haze (lavender lemonade) to start us off. The drink was fine but the bacon was sickening sweet and just wasn't what I was expecting nor what I wanted in a piece of bacon. I ordered the Farmhouse hash and my guy ordered the traditional breakfast. We both agreed that our food was anything but special and instantly regretted our choice to stop here. Our potatoes were undercooked and had a strange aftertaste. I ate the majority of mine but my guy stopped eating after a few bites. We are particular about sending food back and after the uncomfortable beginning of our service, we definitely did not feel comfortable doing so. In fact, we didn't feel comfortable the rest of our time there and even remarked that we would have fared better at Waffle House. Maybe this was an off morning. I'm not sure. Don't take my word. Try them for yourself and make your own judgement. We plan to return to the area soon but will not be returning to this restaurant.
