May 2 of 2018 we were hit by a terrible hail storm. We didn't think we had any serious damage but noticed everyone in our neighborhood was getting their roofs redone. Within a month of the storm we noticed a water stain on our ceiling and were concerned about possible damage done from this storm that we could not see. By this time many neighbors had gone with different companies and we had heard nothing but horror stories. We didn't know what to do or where to start. In July we saw a friend had signed with NRC and was raving about how happy he was with the company and their work. We agreed to meet with NRC and they sent their local adjuster Luca out for a free home inspection. Luca made us feel like we were his number one priority, he worked around our schedule and was so attentive but more importantly not pushy! He gave us time to think things over and would check in every so often. Two months after initially meeting Luca and NRC and after watching our friend rave about the company we decided to sign with NRC. That was the best thing we could have done. Luca did an inspection of our home and showed us how much damage actually was done by the storm. We thought we would only have a partial roof replacement because our roof was only 7 years old. He told us we would need an entire roof replacement, new siding, gutters and a garage door. Everyone laughed at us and told us how their insurance company's barley covered their roof and that we would be paying out of pocket for all of that. Luca worked closely with our insurance company and they agreed with everything he had said. The best part of all of this is Luca did everything for us!! He meet with insurance, set up times, called them, found our crews, EVERTHING!! Luca would call us a week before a job would start and would fill us in on the process. He also would let us know exactly when work would be done. Whenever I had a question he always answered my phone call, which is unheard of in this type of business. Our home makeover started with a new roof in October 2018, new siding by the end of October and new gutters and garage door by the second week of November! The work and crews that came out did an exceptional job. The entire process was completed in a timely and professional manner. Our roof sustained damages in an overnight hail and windstorm. The next morning, we had shingles of our roof in our driveway and knew it had to be looked at right away. We were hesitant to deal with the insurance and we were recommended Neighborhood Adjusters. Our insurance took more than a year to approve our claim and initially denied the claim. Marcos Molina, our adjuster, was a fierce and steadfast advocate in working on our behalf with the insurance company and he kept us informed about the process in a way that was transparent and timely. Marcos was able to get another re-inspection scheduled and his knowledge and expertise was conducive in proving our loss and damages and ultimately getting the claim approved. I am very pleased to write this review! My home was struck by a hail storm, and I was unsure where I should begin to get my home repaired. So I contacted my insurance company, but that did not go as planned. They were not willing to help me out. Just when I was about to give up, Ana came by. She explained to me what she and her company could do for me regarding my claim. Considering that I was just going to give up, and she just so happened to stop by, I decided to give her a shot. Jeremy Gehman came to our home in Glendale Heights and was very professional and courteous and imparted widom to us concerning our water damage claim and what his company could do for us. We were able to get brand new beautiful laminate flooring throughout our whole house. Upstairs and downstairs. We have 4 bedrms 3 bthrms finished basement w fireplace. Downstairs they were able to replace all our drywall in family room and bathroom downstairs plus we were able to get our 2 bathrooms remodeled. I'm very happy with the way Josh Bird and the office staff at NAI helped me throughout getting my roof approved. Josh has been very sweet and caring, and has really made me feel very comfortable with everything. He's been by my home multiple times to just give me a little more information and to check on me. I have a few properties that I own, and I started to see a bunch of other properties nearby getting the roofs and siding done. So I started wondering if I could as well. Then one of my tenants came across Josh. He introduced me and right when I met him I felt comfortable with him. So after inspecting my first property I wanted him to inspect another. He found damages and then got my insurance company to inspect and got both of them approved. I'm very thankful that I didn't even have to do anything. This place is a SCAM. Last year they came out and did a estimate for my roof. We signed a contract with Jerry Broaddus in the ammount of $18,700. They did the work and finished the roof. It has been 11 months now and I still can not get a paid invoice from them. They are claiming that we owe more money and the contract ammount was actually $21,587. I have the original contract in my hands but can not get anyone to respond to this issue since they know they are scammers and dont want to deal with things after they scam you. This is now becoming a lawyer issue but after everything is said and done, Do not use this company they will scam you out of your money even with a contract in hand read more

We had switched insurance companies and the new insurance company (after we were accepted) came back and told us we would not be covered because our roof had damage! Our old insurance company sent an adjuster out and said they wouldn't cover the roof because the damage was under $500 and our deductible was $1,000! After meeting with Tom Shepard of Neighborhood Adjusters, He got involved and ended up getting us covered! We had an ACV (actual cash value) policy so we got covered but at a depreciated value! We were still very happy that we got about 1/3 of our roof covered and that saved us some money! We were very thankful for Toms help! Highly recommend! read more
