This means as a restaurant, anyone can enjoy their food and hospitality. The food, the service, and the atmosphere made it such a wonderful evening. I think anyone dining there or picking up food to go will enjoy as much. Lali and staff made it such a comfortable evening. We did a pasta bar and everything from the salad to the pasta to the meatballs and sauce was so delicious. We were visiting from the Chicago area and I only wish we were closer so that I could enjoy more of her recipes.

It was the best thing on the table and just might be the best thing on the lunch menu. Of the three sides, the potato salad was distinctly better than the pasta salad and chickpea salad. And my wife's bacon ranch chicken salad sandwich was okay, and we probably would have been more enthused if it had a grilled chicken patty or shredded chicken rather than blended into chicken salad. Overall, the place had a small town feel in which small talk with guests is treasured. I ended up having a nice conversation with the owner about my alma mater as her father attended the same school. Very pleasant.

I'm so glad I looked at Yelp reviews for restaurants in Terre Haute…read more This one is a little on the outskirts. The parking is right beside the building, which is nice. The building is absolutely stunning. From the mural along the side with some Indiana favorites to the very tasteful woodwork inside. All four of us thought our food was really good. How often does that happen? The newest menu item was the Salisbury steak. Might be the best I've ever had. There is a little kick to it. Nothing that little water doesn't take care of. haha when I mentioned the cake to the waitress, she said it's probably the goat cheese and the mashed potatoes. I never knew a goat cheese being spiced. But, hey, I really enjoyed it! If I lived in this area, I would frequent it a lot.

I expected it to taste just like candy but it was surprisingly light. For dinner I ordered the chicken parmesan . It came with large pieces of breaded chicken. It also had a very large portion of spaghetti. Everything was cooked well and the marinara sauce had wonderful flavor. I am always impressed by the large portions. I also think the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. This is definitely my favorite restaurant to visit when I am in Terre Haute.

You know what Crawfordsville didn't need? Another pizza joint. You know what Crawfordsville did…read moreneed? A high quality pizza joint like Mama Fazio's. Sadly, even with all the pizza places in town, my favorite was still, as much as I hate to admit, Pizza Hut...until last night after trying Mama Fazio's. We ordered breadsticks and an XL (18 inch) supreme pizza (no anchovies)to be delivered to the new brewery in town. I loved that the breadsticks orders each included two dipping sauces--no fighting over dipping choices there! The breadsticks were soft and well seasoned. The supreme pizza was amazing, even warmed up for lunch today. Toppings stuffed high and covered in fresh mozzarella cheese. I think this is the only pizza place in Crawfordsville with ground sausage other than Arni's. My only complaint is that they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh. That actually tends to be a deal-breaker for me, but the rest of the pizza was so good that I can overlook it! I see a lot of orders from Mama Fazio's in our future.

Barstool fan review…read more Frankie we are here in Crawfordsville. Home of the worst restaurants in Indiana. One bite everyone knows the rules. Mama Fazio's is a hole in the wall pizzeria just off the corner of the blustering downtown Crawfordsville. One bite, everyone knows the rules. Just on pizza alone. It's one of the best in town, which isn't saying much. If you want to try the blandest pizza in all the land Crawfordsville is the place. Arnis with their tomato paste sauce. Marco's with their cardboard crust. And then the collection of national conglomerates. That is about it. But one bite, everyone knows the rules---- 6.3. One bite. Everyone knows the rules. The flop was real. Real bad. Cheese thicker than crust. No flakiness. Too much oil not enough flour. Sauce is real good. Pepperoni spicy. Too much cheese. Basic. But might be the best pizza in Crawfordsville. Which isn't saying much. Three stars is on the salad, breadsticks, and wings. The sauce came on the side which looked like the nacho cheese I ordered for the breadsticks. Salad was good. Not Arni's good, but it's hard to screw up a salad. I could tell their dough and breadsticks were frozen. Three stars on the location. Most restaurants in C-Ville are two stars. So it is above average. Rookie rating scale by Yelp! Should be a 2.7.
