I've dined here three times so far and have had a great experience at the Addison location. It's a cute restaurant, tucked away in the business of the plaza so you might miss it if you're not looking for it. Last night, the staff was exceptional! From the hostesses to Dave our server. I have to take my hat off to Carlos one of theeeee BEST bartenders I've ever experienced!! Always kind and accommodating, making every guest feel like family. We weren't too hungry last night so we had appetizers. The crab dip and crab cake, garlic bread and voodoo sauce, trust me you must try it! I've had the fish and chips, shrimp and grits in the past all very tasty! I love the rotation of the specials and can't wait to bring my parents there next month when they come to visit! Please stay consistent!! Definitely a restaurant to add to the rotation!

We met some friends at Neighborhood Services in Addison and as usual, it did not disappoint. Neighborhood Services has classic American fare, sometimes with unique twists. Both the food and the service were excellent. We were seated quickly (make a reservation), and our server promptly greeted us and introduced herself. She was informative and helpful throughout our dining experience. For starters, we tried the deviled eggs and the crab dip, both of which were delicious. For mains, we ordered a mix of the big salads, daily plates and the main plates. The prime rib and chicken piccata were the standouts, but everything was quite tasty. The raw bar chopped salad was unique and refreshing. They have a good cocktail menu as well as a sizable wine list and decent beer selection. The vibe is fun, and it is a great place to meet friends for a special dinner.

Neighborhood Services is one of my go-tos for an elevated dinner! They recently updated their menu since I last visited, but the core of their offerings remained. The service is always great, food is hot and flavorful, and drinks are crisp

Walked in and greeted with smiles from the host. Quickly seated to our table. Nice ambiance inside. Waiter was knowledgeable on the menu and history of the restaurant. Ordered the bread to start. Good flavor, slightly warm, with a pile of butter. 8/10 Main course was the Cheeseburger. Cooked well and was still juicy. Pickle on top was made in house and the secret sauce was delish. Substituted the fries for their roasted Brussels with maple bacon. 9/10 Service was spot on and will definitely go back to try more items.

Neighborhood Services was an unforgettable experience The warm ambiance and welcoming staff made for a perfect night Our waitress Madison was outstanding attentive and engaging without ever hovering She made the meal feel personal and special I had the Wagyu chicken fried steak and it was phenomenal Crispy on the outside tender inside and smothered in rich creamy gravy Every bite was indulgent yet refined The blood orange margarita was the perfect balance of sweet tangy and bold flavors Great food amazing service and a place I cannot wait to return to

    Halibut with puréed sweet potato

Came to celebrate my brother's birthday and I am so glad we chose this spot for our experience! We had fun looking at all the little trinkets that they had in the bookshelf by the fully stocked bar. It's definitely a nice restaurant, with most people dressed up! I loved our server who really helped us make our decisions the tonight. We started off with sharing the crab dip and the meatballs and let me tell you - we almost licked our plates clean. The sauce that the meatballs come in is phenomenal and the flavors of the cheesy crab dip melded so well together. I had ordered halibut fish dish with sweet potato purée and this was the best fish I've ever had in my life. The nutty crust on top really elevated the dish and I usually hate sweet potatoes, but this purée was to die for. My mouth is literally watering as I'm writing this review thinking about it. I think my brother's steak was done perfectly and very seasoned, a little salty for my taste, but he really enjoyed it! We ended off the night with a date-bread pudding dessert and all of us were so happy with our decision. I wish I lived in Dallas to celebrate all our big events here so I could experience this meal again. The chefs at Neighborhood Services really know what they are doing!!

Overall thoughts: The food was good, and the service was friendly! The inside of the restaurant was dim, warm, and inviting. The hostess and server were both very friendly! I ordered the fish and chips. The portion was pretty generous, and the dish itself was tasty! Plenty of parking available!

What a spectacular dining experience! We had the pleasure of having an amazing meal last night at NS in Addison (I have also loved my visits to the Oak Lawn and Lovers Ln locations) The food was incredible (the shrimp and grits are my favorite and the chocolate brownie is to die for), the cocktails were created by a talented mixologist, and the staff is outstanding. Many thanks to Nammi (management), Mike (manager) and Edward (server). We felt pampered all evening. I have traveled the world and have had many fine dining experiences, but this was one of my favorite! Nammi explained to me that they call it Neighborhood Services because they want to be part of the community and they treat their guests like they were close neighbors, and that certainly comes through in their warm interactions and their high level of service. It is now my go-to place!

Service was good and the portion sizes are definitely Texas made. The front door was super weird though, took us a little bit to figure out that was the entrance. The food was also on the salty side. The brussel sprouts were my favorite thing I ate, I could've just eaten those by themselves.

    Bay of Fundy Salmon
    Sarah N.

Everything we had was so so soooo good! We ordered the Bay of Fundy salmon, which was a generous portion cooked to perfection. The light crispiness of the Sole Milanese was just enough texture to go with the flakiness of the fish and beurre blanc, I wiped my plate pretty much clean. We also really enjoyed that dip that came with the asparagus because it didn't feel heavy at all. The roasted brussels were one of the best I've had because the bacon was crisp and not soggy. The sauce wasn't too sweet for me, I enjoyed it very much. Our waitress Fi Fi was also great and always knew when to check up on us and kept our drinks full! We came pretty early, around 6, so when we were sat at one of the corner tall tables, we thought it was a little bit away from everyone else until the restaurant filled up in no time and it was energetic and bustling. I would definitely recommend a reservation if you're going on the weekend. My only regret is not choosing to sit outside because the weather was finally nice for a change.

    Sole with arugula
    Pam C.

Neighborhood services delivers on service. 5 stars for the person answering the phone and accommodating our reservation change. 5 plus stars for our attentive, patient and polished waiter. 3 stars for the food. We started with the meatballs with voodoo sauce. The meatballs were tender and the sauce was nicely peppered. I had the Pounded Chicken Piccata with sea salt frites. This was a generous portion of chicken although the chicken and sauce needed flavor. The fries were abysmal. They were soggy and floppy. And cold. Hmmm, McDonalds could teach them fry lessons. Hubby has the special of Sole topped arugula and Parmesan. I wouldn't order it again, the sole was breaded and tasteless. Really, not impressed for the $38.00 price.

The initial arrival was entirely seamless, as I was able to secure a most convenient parking space directly on the street. Upon crossing the threshold, I must confess my initial impression was that the venue might be somewhat ordinary however, I was instantly disabused of that notion. The interior architecture features a truly magnificent, extensive collection of vintage typewriters alongside an absolutely breathtaking, grand display of fine wines. Having personal experience with typewriters from years past, I found their impressive stock to be thoroughly nostalgic, and the wine selection was nothing short of exciting. While the venue beautifully accommodates guests for delightful alfresco dining, I escorted myself inside to a highly comfortable table. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally warm, providing a level of attentive hospitality that makes the entire excursion worthwhile. For my afternoon refreshment, I requested a crisp Blackberry Smash. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the waiter, he elegantly suggested a curation of bruschetta pairings that would harmonize beautifully with the cocktail. On his superb guidance, I selected a quartet: the Goat Cheese & Spicy Pepper Jam, the Tomato & Mozzarella, the Apple Brie & Fig, and the French Onion Bruschetta. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision. When the board arrived, the presentation was an absolute masterpiece and the entire flavor profile was a complete delight. The sophisticated combination of savory, sweet, and crisp textures left me thoroughly happy. It is an absolute treat of a destination, completely worthy of one's dining calendar. I am entirely enamored with this exciting new find and shall most certainly be returning

I eat a lot of wraps--honestly, that's probably why you're reading my reviews in the first place--and this wrap is absolutely top-tier. Great size, great portions, and it actually feels like a full meal. You're not going to be sitting there thinking, "I should've just gotten a burger." Get the wrap. Get the fries too. Both are excellent. Next, not the worst issue in the world, but these new menus need some work. They don't stay open on their own and just feel kind of cheap. Not a huge deal, but it's something that should probably be addressed. Finally, the nachos. If you know me, you know I love all kinds of food, but nachos are weirdly my favorite food. I've always loved Sidecar's nachos, but it honestly feels like they've gotten a little worse every time I've ordered them over the last four years. Originally, you could choose between wonton chips and tortilla chips. Now the menu says tortilla chips only, so I expected tortilla chips. Instead, they came out with wonton chips. Not the end of the world, but the bigger issue is that the cheese sticks way too much to the wonton chips. It feels like they're being baked too long. Every time you try to pull a nacho apart, everything breaks. This definitely needs to be fixed. Overall, though, the Crispy Caesar Wrap alone is worth coming back for, and Sidecar remains one of my favorite spots.
