Living in this small town is heart breaking. But having Neighbors Pizza down the street makes up for most of the heart break. I LOVE NEIGHBORS PIZZA. Their specialty pizzas are fully loaded with toppings and are pretty catchy with the names and toppings. My favourite is the Oregon pizza, which is the all veggies pizza. The baked spaghetti & garlic bread is super yum and the chocolate chip cannoli's are even better! This is the go to place when I'm not feeling up to cooking dinner. The pricing is pretty cheap in comparison to other pizza chains. They have online & call-in ordering, pick up or delivery, and dine in. I usually pick up my orders and the staff is super nice, and almost always smiling. I can't wait until the next time we "have to" order Neighbors Pizza. read more

Neigbhors is a great local pizzeria. Though to call them a pizzeria is a little bit of an understatement, as they have a variety of food available to order. The pizzas themselves come on a foundation of flavorful, slightly chewy crust. Their red sauce is tomato forward and compliments my usual toppings (just pepperoni!) super well. There is also a huge variety in their specialty pizzas- my wife loves the Pennsylvania- the combination of a tasty white sauce and oodles of toppings make it her favorite. The pizzas aren't Little Ceasar's cheap- but you get what you pay for in this case. Our go to meal is their 1 medium specialty and 1 medium 1 topping pizza. It's more than enough for my family of 3 to eat our fill, and have plenty of leftovers. Their customer loyalty program is nice too- ten orders nets you ten poker chips that you can turn in for a pizza! Service has always been friendly, professional, and prompt. Delivery is usually how I get my pizzas- they always arrive in a timely fashion and my pizza is always piping hot. None of this is to mention that Neighbor's is a valued asset in our community, with their support of many local sports and charitable organizations. I didn't want to make dinner so I wanted a place that delivers. To support small businesses we called these guys. Unfortunately the pizza that we got tasted like something I would make. I did like how they cut it in really small pieces but I couldn't taste the sauce, there was hardly any meat on it. So going forward we will not use this company anymore. I'll go to Papa Murphy's. They have better flavor and a lot more meat on it. AND A LOT CHEAPER. Also received a sampler which was cold, but I did like the spicy wings. But just because of the spicy wings I won't order again. Consistently great! My new favorite pizza is the New Jersey--try it, you'll love it! They use fresh vegetables that are grown locally and sliced in-house. I also recommend trying the sandwiches, but be sure to get it on the pizza bread instead of the hoagie roll, you'll be glad you did. The chicken club melt sandwich is amazing. I have worked at 3 different pizza places in my day, in every facet of the industry, from delivery to prep to cooking to cashier to inventory, and this place is pretty decent. I always pick up a pizza to go, and they are usually very close in terms of quoted time. Ive waited a little, at times, but been surprised at times. The quality is usually very decent, with ingredients being on the fresh side, and requests for "well done" being heeded most times. For not much more than the fast places, this is a much better pizza. The staff here has been exceptionally friendly in literally every interaction I've had, even offering my kid some ice cream on the house, once. The location is pretty convenient, as well. In my opinion, this place does a fine job of offering a pretty good pizza for a fair price with minimal hiccups. What more can you really ask for from a local place? SOOO GOOD!! The crust is perfect, flaky with that perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. Went with a pretty large group so got to try a bunch but the mash potato and the Georgia were the best in my opinion! Staff was all super nice and friendly and the owner had a wonderful positive attitude and always had a smile on her face. I wish I didn't live so far or this would be my go to pizza spot. Okay, here's the problem. When I ordered online to have three pizzas delivered at 4pm at a local park in Plumas Lake (kids birthday party), the gal that delivered them walked across the grass from the parking lot and the pizzas warming case was being held at a 45-degre angle. I should have looked at the pizza before she left. They were all smashed up against the side of the box. Really? Are three pizzas so heavy you can't hold them horizontally??? Not only that, they delivered them 30 minutes earlier than we asked for them and nobody was there yet to eat them. So they sat getting cold until people arrived. When I brought this up to the gal, she says something like "I can't control when the cook prepares them". Really?? How about telling your cook "hey...I'm not delivering these too early because the CUSTOMER doesn't want them that early". What a concept! And how about treating the customer like a CUSTOMER! I don't want to hear your silly babble. But...I'm sure she really didn't give a crap. And so I didn't either and didn't leave a tip. A tip is for something you do well. Maybe you got soccer trophies when you were a kid even when you lost the game, but in the real world it doesn't work like that. Unless you want to stay in Olivehurst all your life, you might want to think about that a bit. Now the Pizza: Not the best in around. In fact, it was slightly undercooked and droopy. This is pizza you'd expect at most places. It's certainly not made Italian style. But kids won't know the difference. I think I'm going to buy a backyard pizza oven and cook my own. So I'll start off by saying Neighbors has always been a great locally owned place to get a pizza. I've never minded paying the extra few bucks to help keep my money local. Tonight was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. I called the pizza in for pick up around 5:30pm, one large pizza and a salad... not a huge order...one pizza. I was told over the phone it would be ready in 25 minutes. So I get there around 5:55pm and was greated by a young woman that swiped my card and told me it would be up shortly. As I sat and sat... and sat some more I had the misfortune of listening to two employees (a male and a female) argue in the back for twenty minutes. During this time not a single person came out to apologize or explain what the problem was, I patiently waited chatting with a woman that had just came in explaining she was also told a 25 minute wait. Which seemed correct considering there was absolutely no one eating inside. After chatting with the other customer with a "25 minute wait" for another 10 minutes we had finally gotten the pizza! Only took a little over an hour at this point but whatever... things happen. I try not to complain unless absolutely necessary, so once I received my pizza not once did they offer to compensate for the mess up, the girl at the counter said sorry for the wait only because she probably heard me complaining. So I get the pizza home, as expected my wife asks me what took so long. I explain the situation, open the pizza to expect a freshly cooked pizza only to find out the pizza is COLD. It tasted like it had been sitting for well over 30 minutes, which makes me wonder why it took so long for me to get the pizza in the first place. Was my pizza sitting in the back getting cold the entire time while two unprofessional employees agrued for 20+ minutes? Never the less..I'll chalk it up to a learning experience and do business else where. Not only that, I will encourage others to do the same. If this business wants to stay in business they need to coach their employees and atleast explain whats going on when an expectation isn't being met. Give much better customer service (since there was none here) and provide a good product. I will no longer recommend Neighbors Pizza to any friends, family members or locals I meet in the area. read more

I wrote a review on 4/13/15 about the wings I ordered for pick-up. Needless to say, the review that I wrote was not a very nice review..... SURPRISINGLY I received a call this evening from the manager! She addressed my concerns and my review. I was shocked that she took the time to read my review, and look up my number, and apologize to me! My concern genuinely seemed to be her concern as well. I am now rating NEIGHBORS PIZZA 5 STARS-- for redeeming themselves, and the customer service shown through the redemption! We like Neighbors pizza. With the choices around here it's nice to have better pizza than the chain restaurants and the price is good too. Their sandwiches are also very good. Got a pepperoni and wings tonight. Barely any cheese or sauce on the pie. Was all crust, dry and worse than a frozen pizza. Pepperoni on pizza dough. Plus they forgot the ranch for the wings which were soggy and felt like they had been nuked. We were very disappointed. What a waste. I have been here a couple of times with my family who live in the area. Both times my mom treated us to the Alaskan-size pizza. I've never seen a pizza like this before. We come in a large group so not only does it seem to make sense to order it but it's a little thrilling to eat a pizza this large. Naturally, I take SnapChat videos of it every time (showing off a bit, maybe?). The pizza itself isnt half bad. They do pretty well on the toppings but this last time we added a medium-size Hawaiian and it felt to me to be mostly bread and cheese. I can't stand when that happens. I don't want to feel like I'm just eating pizza crust. We order a family-size Mediterranean salad as well, which is delicious and fresh. Be advised that this style costs extra though. I believe the standard family salad is a house salad or a garden, I don't recall. So anything else so be extra. Service is decent, the workers are young college-age kids. They're pretty flexible which I appreciate. The manager seems pretty firm about things though. Anyway, my parents are in Plumas Lake so going out with a large group without driving into Yuba City just makes sense to eat here. Not bad! read more

The last 2 times I have ordered delivery from here it has taken 2 hours to get here. They say it will be 45-60 minutes delivery. Double that time and you'll know when your food will be delivered. I ordered an Oregon vegi lrg pizza and had it delivered. They brought the pizza in good time but it had very little cheese on it. I couldn't figure out why all the toppings were falling off until I took a bite. Very odd taste with little to no cheese. I called to report the problem and was informed by Casey that "the cheese is pre measured back there. " No manager working so Cassie handled the customer complaint poorly and said they could remake the order or come pick it up and give me a refund. Then I was given an order that all of the pizza "better be there" and I said well we each had a piece on our plate and Kasey said that would be ok but the rest needs to be there. That's when I asked him his name and he said Casey and then spelled it for me because I was informed there are a lot of different ways to spell his name! And to think I was just going to ask for a partial refund but I did want them to come get it so they could see how little cheese there was. So now I get all my money back and back to Round Table I go. Careful what mom and pop businesses you support. Some are very lacking. read more

Awesome pizza! Best in the area. My wife and I enjoy the "Montana" with blue cheese. The kids LOVE it as well. I almost never have any left overs! My mom and brother tried the gluenten free pizza they gave it a A+!!!! They said it has hard to find a good gluenten free pizza. Well I was really hoping to like this place but I really had a bad experience all around. I ordered a pizza ,wings , cheese sticks and drinks for delivery. The lady taking the order was extremely confused while talking my order so a guy was basically doing it while she repeated everything I said( I have no clue why he wouldn't just do it himself). My pizza got here about a hour and 30 mins later and they got the pizza all wrong. So I called right away and told the Manager and he said your right we messed up but it was later in the evening so he said well we can bring you another one but it would take a hour or we can give you a free one next time . Having kids to feed and it being 8:30 and being to late to eat already I said fine we will just take the one next time. So now getting to the food . The pizza was ok to be honest but the cheese sticks where extremely hard . Like rock hard. The wings weren't that good either. I go to order a pizza a few weeks later and the lady says we only had a $4.00 dollar credit. When they messed up on the original pizza it was a medium when we ordered a large and they shorted us two toppings . So $4.00 dollars didn't even cover what we were shorted before.
