One of the DW Motors mechanics who testified as a witness said himself he's never seen anything so bad in 30 years. 10 visits to DW Motors in 7 months. Morally bankrupt and incompetent, avoid this hellhole at all costs.

They are a pretty small garage so of course they don't have the most sophisticated expensive diagnostic equipment, so most of the time when you come in with a problem, Shon would make educated guesses as to what parts need fixed. What I liked about Shon was that if he made a judgement error (like replacing a part that was not actually the root of the problem) he would make it right by offering a refund on the first service, or offering to do additional work for free until it was fixed. I applauded him for that and he gained my trust for about 6 or 7 years. Now that it's Park's auto service, the scenario is still the same: they have to make educated guesses about what is wrong with your car and fix accordingly. Unfortunately, Park does not offer any kind of redemption when he makes a mistake, and tells you "oh that part needed replaced anyway." He doesn't budge on refunds or or no-charge follow-up fixes, even after arguing. This has happened to me several times and I refuse to go here anymore. So that's what you get at Park's: A mechanic that makes a lot of mistakes and does nothing to make them right. I'm done dumping my money into this waste.

Bought a hardly-used SAAB 2-X (Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon)…read moreback in 2016. Seemed like a good idea at the time..... boxer engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. Over time, I realized there was something "sloppy" about the shifter setup. Decided to install a short-throw shifter and a couple of new bushings. MSM to have a replacement clutch slave cylinder installed. While there, the (great) Subaru mechanic, Lindsey, pointed out noises were coming from the clutch area that indicated a problem with the throwout bearing. I figured it was just an attempt to get more business so I moved on. Not for long. The throw-out bearing started to throw a serious fit. Limped into MSM and asked Lindsey to check out what was wrong. The look on his face told me he knew what was going on and he was just being polite. He explained what happened when the throwout bearing broke loose. Not fun. I decided to trust Lindsey and have in install a new clutch. Took a while to get the parts he wanted (As Steve pointed out....."Made in Japan.....NOT China." Picked up my version of a SAAB yesterday and, for the first time in eight years actually experienced how this Subaru was meant to be driven -- with the engine, transmission and clutch and shifter all working in synch in response to what I wanted. WOW! If you have a Subaru that's run past its warranty benefits package....and you want to have it perform....not just last as long as its reputation claims, check out MSM and ask for Lindsey or Steve. You will get great service, quality parts and better than average pricing on their work. Me? I just made a great investment to make certain my SAAB can perform well for another 10 years and 100k miles.....God willing and Lindsey continues to coach me. Frank
