There is an ice machine in the main building along with coin operated washer and dryer as well as an exercise room on the third floor. It was quiet you didn't hear too many other people and the woman at the front desk was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place. It's also right in the center of everything so you can walk to restaurants and the walking/biking trail is right in the back.

Lacking would be an iron and ironing board and robes in room would be a nice touch to use to go to hot tub across the lot from rooms. Young lady working was very nice but other staff strange. You say hello and nothing. Overall it was fine but not something I'd seek out again if I'm ever here again.

He really knew the town. The car was clean and he drove smoothly and safely and got us to the airport at the perfect time. (I explicitly asked if there would be a discount if I shared with another person as I was riding solo.) Joy quoted me $110 for a 1 person ride. A few minutes before picking me up, she told me the ride would be shared. I asked if there would be a discount given that I was told by Neil who connected us that my ride would be private. Joy then attempted to gaslight me into saying she gave me a below market price by charging me $110 for one seat in a shared ride. That made zero sense bc my ride to Stowe was $120 for a private ride and other companies had quoted me $110 for a private ride. I then had to spend my remaining vacation time picking up other people and listening to Joy chitchat with the other riders for the entirety of what I thought would be a quiet private ride. The ethical price per person for a shared ride would be $60-70 as is done in cabs to EWR in NYC that are $125 for a private ride. Really disappointed that Stowe businesses would try to scam tourists like this. Furthermore, during the ride, a woman called asking if Joy had a car for her mom as the woman had confirmed via text. I saw on the screen that the woman actually had texted Joy back and Joy failed to follow up. Joy hung up on the woman.

And a pack it up so well for you so you can totally eat it on your way up to the mountain. The absolute peak of this entire trip was the hot tub is at the northern lights lodge. Surprisingly it was rarely occupied we barely had to wait except for one time we may be waited 20 minutes for a group to leave because it's a pretty small hot tub and we were four people trying to go together The hot tub is also open from 8 AM to 10 PM great for a pre-post ski session. There is also a sauna and indoor pool and an outdoor pool. The outdoor pool was not open for the winter obviously. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Definitely looking forward to make a trip back. This is a get away, let's go back in time when things mattered not just "Cash or Charge". Rooms are very very clean, very comfortable, heat works great and it's pretty cold and windy outside. Yea, I can dig this place. Nice, old school, charm. I will stay here more often. Breakfast and indoor pool available, I'm just here to ski. I spoke with a woman last night whose sister was in a nursing home in the area. She called Michael for a ride. She told Michael she was going to purchase several gift cards for a man for he immediately recognized to be a scam. He drove her right back to the nursing home, contacted her family, saved her from being scammed and her family was able to take steps to protect her in the future. That's the kind of integrity this man has. Michael mentioned this story to me at one point but last night I heard it directly from the victims sister. He is reliable, kind and offers fair prices. Montpelier has really needed a reliable service like this for a long time. This is someone dependable, safe and honest.

It was only a 3 mile trip yet two other companies quoted me over $350 because they have a 2 hour minimum. Ted offered his services at a fraction of that amount and the experience could not have been better. He communicated with me the morning of to let us know he was on the way, he arrived on time and was very helpful getting three senior citizens and tons of bags into his van. Very personable, the van was immaculate and the entire experience was 5 star. Highly recommend this company if you are ever in need of shuttle service in the BTV area.
