I finally made it to Neko Yubu!!!
    Jasmyne F.

The location was in a business center strictly for restaurants that make your food for direct pickup. You can order online or at the location and then wait in your car. The woman who serviced me was very nice. I was unaware of the ordering policy. But she took my order and asked if I'd be waiting and would have the food brought out to my car. The Tofu pouches filled with sweet treats of salmon, crab and spicy chicken were amazing..I ordered 6 along with a miso soup. I think next time I might have to double down in my order. Theaslo there was plenty of parking space and it was not overly crowded. The location is very nice , and you can try a different array of foods in the area

I really enjoyed the to go order , the service was good and quick and easy to order online , the food was pretty good and I want to come back and try the other flavors and toppings that they have , the torched salmon is my favorite right now .

Tried NEKO YUBU for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the fresh salmon, torched salmon, fresh tuna, butter crab, spicy pork, and beef bulgogi. Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of favor. The torched salmon was probably my favorite, and beef bulgogi was really good too. It's more like a pickup order spot than a restaurant, with few other food places in the same plaza. The food was made pretty quickly, and everything was packed well. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for a quick bit and some fresh, tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu .

My family & I really enjoy Neko Yubu. Please keep in mind that they don't really have a dining area, as their space is a kitchen. Nonetheless, the food & service are top notch! I often order online & pick it up on the way home. My order is always accurate, the ingredients are fresh, & the portion size is good. Spreading the good word about this place to my friends & colleagues. My favorites are the butter crab, torched salmon, & tuna mayo.

We came back to try the mentaiko, and it was so worth it! We placed an online pickup order, and it was a quick and easy transaction. There isn't really any seating besides some benches outside, so it is definitely a casual to-go spot. I also recommend eating it asap. The beef bulgogi was more moist and juicy this time since we didn't leave it sitting for a while. The fresh tuna and fresh salmon were also really good! Super fresh and great texture! Out of all of them, the mentaiko is definitely my #1, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique!

We tried the bulgogi, spicy pork, tuna mayo, egg mayo, and myungran mayo - none of them disappointed!! They were all so juicy and packed with flavor without being salty. The textures were all so balanced, I literally had to go back immediately to get more before I left the premises. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It is hands down the best yubu rice I have ever had. Ever!! Not to mention the price is really good for the taste and quality. Make sure to be ready to wait a bit on your order. There is also no indoor or outdoor seating/waiting area so make sure to take a car and be able to wait inside that car. Also the neighborhood is a little sketchy so lock your doors while you wait!

Something to know about me... I really love tofu skin. I first tried them in a random Chinese buffet in the sushi section where they would put random crabmeat on top of rice inside or seaweed salad and call it a day. I love the texture and hint of sweetness from it. So anyway, when I saw this place online, I knew I had to come and try it. My husband and I ordered 8 pieces and each and every bite was delightful! My favorites were the seared salmon, egg mayo, tuna, and fresh salmon. My husband being my husband.. didn't get the hype lol. He said it would be better if they had hot foods on it. Im sure they do but most of what we ordered were like sushi or warm foods. I truly love it here. I would come back for this again.

This place is sooo good. I had it back in September, and I still think about it today. Their service is very friendly, and patient. There is a little wait as they assemble your order, but they'll hand deliver it to your car since there is no indoor/outdoor seating here. We got the mentaiko mayo, torched salmon, butter crab, and fresh salmon. The fresh salmon was very light and refreshing in contrast to the cooked/creamy options we had. The torched salmon and butter crab both had those hints of smokiness that paired with the creaminess of the sauces perfectly. Mentaiko was my personal favorite because it was so creamy and tasty without a single hint of that fishy taste you usually encounter. Please try this place for a light lunch or snack if you are in Dallas!

I decided to get out of the house and take a ride to Neko Yubu to try their Yubu Bites, and when I tell you it was a 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend. Everything was super fresh, super flavorful, and the customer service was A1. It's a ghost kitchen setup, so you drive up and order once you arrive. There's no dining area, so expect to eat in your car, but honestly, they're so good you won't want to wait anyway. I ordered a box of six which included Torched Salmon, Kimchi Bacon, Butter Crab, Carottes Râpées, Cheese Buldak, and Beef Bulgogi. The Beef Bulgogi was hands down my favorite, but every single one hit. They don't have a huge menu, and I've already tried six of the flavors, so I'll definitely be back to try the rest. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

Lu family had a craving for sushi and a friend recommended we try this place. It is a take-out place, so since we were in the area we thought we give it a try. We ordered online and then picked the items up when ready and brought it home. The service was good and food was pretty good. We would do it again.

Cute shop, good flavor! Yubu's in general are great, well prepared, cute packaging, I wouldnt go out of my way to go here if I lived far, but if youre in the area its worth a quick stop! HIGHLY recommend the mentaiko yubu.

What an absolute gem. This place truly amazed me with how delicious and unique their food is. These tofu wrapped "sushi" bites are perfectly built and taste absolutely delightful. Each with their own flavor profile and texture. I got the tuna mayo, torched salmon, egg mayo, and the Buldak cheese and it was a treat trying them all. The service was fast and the person who took our order was very kind and quick. We arrived 15 mins before they were closing (we don't do this often- promise!) and she happily took our order in front of the store in the cold. It's been a little over an hour and I'm still thinking about them.

    Tina D.

I really like their combo deals! I got 8 differently flavors to try with others. My favorite were butter crab, mentaiko mayo, and fresh tuna. My boyfriend enjoys the pork and seared salmon. One thing to note is that the tuna mayo tasted exactly like canned tuna. The flavors are strong and lean on the sweeter side. One thing to note is that I did called ahead a couple of hours to order, but it still took them some time to get it ready.

I was the only person in my group that was gluten-free and the staff were so on top of it! Every single dish they brought out, they explained which had gluten in which did not. Our table was seated directly beneath an air vent that was actively dripping water. During dinner, the water repeatedly dripped onto me. After notifying the staff the first time, they simply wiped down the vent while food was being served rather than offering to reseat our party. When I brought the issue to their attention a second time, the response was the same; they wiped it down, but the dripping continued throughout the remainder of the meal. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a more proactive solution and better attention to guest comfort. Additionally, our group ordered the Demon Slayer 300 mL sake, priced at $55. After pouring the sake, our server, Adonis, took the bottle away with him, even though we understood that the bottle was intended to remain at the table for our party. This added to the confusion and frustration surrounding the overall experience. As a first-time guest, I was looking forward to an enjoyable dining experience, but the lack of attention to these issues left me disappointed. While the food may have been enjoyable, the service and handling of these concerns fell short of expectations, particularly given the cost of dining here.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!

They are open from 11:00 to 14:30 for lunch, then reopen at 16:30 to close. The place looks amazing, decorated in authentic Japanese style. Huy, my server, was just fantastic. He explained how everything works and had this great energy about him. He even helped with some recommendations: the Ocean, 911 roll, and the Hot Night roll--all of which are amazing, so I recommend trying those. Also, if you go, ask for Huy. I've been to Michelin starred omakases (including tempura omakases) in Japan and New York, and this place honestly meets or comes extremely close to fitting the bill in terms of food and service. At the Michelin restaurants, you pay almost double the price for high quality ingredients, stellar service, ambiance, and a Japanese toilet :P For $100 pp for the tempura omakase at Takumi Hachi, you leave feeling full and satisfied, with a great selection of light and deliciously fried fritters. Each person gets a bowl of their divinely delicious tempura sauce with a generous amount of shaved daikon (not even lying when i say this is my favorite tempura sauce i've had, i could've just drank it on its own) and a selection of salts, with each course given a recommendation of which salt to use. In terms of ambiance: frankly speaking, if it was just the counter service omakase, i'd say it would feel more stuffy and unapproachable. But there is a general seating area that is not counter service where you can order off the menu for sushi, robata, and a la carte options. No dress code enforced or recommended, so you can be dining with all sorts of patrons with different sizes of families and children. whether or not this is your jam, it's still an extremely accessible place to dine for anyone and everyone. Reservations were incredibly easy to make (tempura omakase only From Sunday thru Thursday). Service was really kind and attentive, my husband's water literally never went below half empty. The only thing to take service to the next level is if they cleaned/wiped your plate/gave you a new plate between each course. American toilet. Lol. That's neither here nor there, but the bathroom is very clean lol! They were also sweet enough to read my reservation note for the occasion for dining and gifted us a delicious strawberry mousse, accompanied with a surprise tableside matcha to end the meal. I'm already looking forward to try their kaiseki set meal next time, and know that this place is a top contender to take my friends or loved ones for special occasions. I can't speak much for their sushi, but I added on some robata and grill menu items to the omakase and they were fantastic. Highly recommend the maitake mushroom tempura add on to your course. If you order ebi sushi, they offer to take the head once you're done eating the sushi and either put it in a miso soup or fry it for you, which i thought was a wonderful option. Also, we got tempura anago, something I've never had anywhere else, served two different ways. That alone was enough to make this experience stand out. For an experience like I had tonight, I felt as if the restaurant should be more full. Maybe because it is tucked away behind the other chain restaurants in Addison that are a little easier to see. Don't hesitate if you see the price tag, I definitely think you get a great value for food, service, and experience. We were there for two hours and enjoyed it very much. Thank goodness i don't have to drive all the way to downtown Dallas to enjoy some delicious Japanese food without the headache and hassle of finding parking and an accessible reservation.

The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.
