A staff member will order from their iPad and you can either wait in the car or wait at the storefront. It takes about 5-8 min for them to work on your order. We came back to try the mentaiko, and it was so worth it! We placed an online pickup order, and it was a quick and easy transaction. Something to know about me... I really love tofu skin. I first tried them in a random Chinese buffet in the sushi section where they would put random crabmeat on top of rice inside or seaweed salad and call it a day. There's no dining area, so expect to eat in your car, but honestly, they're so good you won't want to wait anyway. I won a giveaway on Instagram for a free drink and complimentary set of 4 yubu from Neko Yubu, but since I was sharing with my husband I also ordered an extra set of 4 to try more flavors. I stopped by on a Friday around noon and was served very quickly! The matcha latte was mostly milk, nothing much to write home about, but it makes sense at that price point and it was a nice drink for a warm day. The yubu was delicious! Our favorites were the mentaiko and torched + raw salmon (especially love the wasabi cream that was mixed with the raw salmon), and the char on the butter crab was great too. The other meat options were solid but I didn't super love the tuna mayo even though that's usually one of my favorite flavors in other rice balls and kimbap - the tuna salad here was really dense and there was so much topping that it overwhelmed the balance of the sweet yubu and the rice. I do love that they're really generous with the toppings but the tuna mayo just didn't hit. This spot is pretty out of the way for me but it's very quick service/grab and go so I imagine it's great as lunch for people who work in the area! Cute yubu takeout concept! Reminds me of a couple yubu places I've been in nyc. It's take out only, no sit ins though there is a bench outside you could sit if you wanted to. The yubu flavors that I felt were really strong were the myungran(명란)/mentaiko, kimchi bacon, and beef bulgogi. The other ones were still delicious, but wish it was a bit more flavorful. For example, the egg mayo was really fresh but it was more on the bland side, more than what I'm used to when eating Korean style egg mayo dishes. You order online or with an employee by the door, and they bring it out to you in your car. Their packaging is pretty flimsy, so I would say to be very very careful when you are unboxing and unpackaging to eat in your car. I ordered 6 types of inari, and I loved the raw salmon and crab mayo the best. I would say to bring a friend or a loved one to share these because it definitely is a lot of food for one person, and it can fill you up very quickly. The flavor and actual portion sizes are great. I also ordered a mango matcha latte, which was sweet and good, but there was a ton of milk so it's not a super matcha-forward or matcha-heavy latte. My last item was the rose tteokbokki, which was just okay and isn't something I would order again. The flavor of the sauce is great, but the texture of the rice cakes is too soft and almost overcooked. I'm really glad that a place like this exists in the DFW area! I would rate this place a 4.5/5. While this place is really unique and they make food that's quite rare in dallas, it's an interesting set up. There is no inside waiting area or seating. There is also a lack of signage that says to wait outside for someone to come out to take our order, and you just awkwardly stand in front of the door waiting (though we didn't have to wait long). Just keep that in mind! The food itself though was very good, there are even 2 types of salmon- one torched and the other not torched. The sauces added are also a little different, there's wasabi mayo in the fresh salmon. The meat to rice ratio was excellent as well, they piled the protein on.
