Snapped the last bite of the curry puff.

Just tried this new spot and everything was seriously impressive. The waterfall steak was the standout -- perfectly cooked, super tender, and packed with bold, zesty flavor with just the right amount of spice. The nam khao had an amazing crunch and freshness that made every bite addictive. And the curry puffs? Crispy, buttery, and filled with rich, flavorful curry that disappeared way too fast. The whole meal felt fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Definitely one of those places you immediately start planning your next visit to before you even leave. Highly recommend ordering all three dishes! Looking forward to trying their whole menu!

    Drunken Noodles

I've been to a LOT of Thai/Lao spots and usually have a favorite dish at each one... but at Ning's, I honestly can't pick just one! The crab rangoon nachos are an absolute MUST--packed with sweet, spicy, creamy, crunchy goodness and seriously addicting (don't share ). The wings looked simple but were FULL of flavor, perfectly crispy, and amazing with sticky rice. I also tried the drunken noodles and green curry, and WOW--both tasted just as good as my longtime favorites from other spots. Safe to say... I found my new go-to!

It's an unassuming location but once you step through the doors you're met with ambient lighting, wooden table tops and benches. We arrived around 11 and were greeted immediately; sat within 5 mins. Once sat, you scan the menu to order. There's plenty Korean and Asian fusion dishes to choose from. We ordered a number of things and everything was fresh and plentiful. I'll say the standout was the bulgogi and lemon pepper wings. Also, the fries were stellar! Needless to say we'll definitely be back!

When I walked in, the place was empty. I stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for way longer than necessary--especially since there were no other customers. I finally peeked in and saw two employees busy counting receipts and money at the register. (Bad Impression #1). After being seated, I was actually enjoying the music until I felt something sticky on my forearm. It was a stray bean sprout left on the table (Bad Impression #2). To make matters worse, the tables are incredibly low. Even at my height, I had to hunch over the entire time. I eventually gave up on table manners and just held the rice bowl up to my face to eat comfortably. Regarding the food: it was a bit salty. The kimchi fried rice was average, but the kimchi stew really missed the mark. That was the moment I realized this is a fusion spot, not authentic Korean. It wasn't horrible, but it's definitely different from the real thing. BUT, can we talk about the massive portions? (Good Impression #1). Everything is clearly meant to be shared. The service was actually good. They have a buzzer on the table for service, which I loved. It saves you from having to track down a waiter. (Good Impression #2). The ambiance is loud, poppy, and "hip." You better like K-pop if you're coming here. It's not a first-date spot because it's hard to hear each other, but it's a solid place to hang out with friends who like the genre. Will I come back? Not actively. But if someone else suggests it, I won't fight them on it.

We ordered the chicken pong dak which had fried chicken, tater tots, and potato wedges, and comes with a cheese dipping sauce. The cheese sauce had the weirdest consistency that was thich and grainy, not at all appetizing. The dish could do without a double dose of potatoes in my opinion. The fried foods lacked flavor. The bulgogi quesadilla barely had any meat in it. Service was not bad. The karaoke rooms are spacious and good for groups. The system they use can get a little frustrating to use initially but you eventually get the hang of it. The attendant who assisted us there seemed annoyed with our questions and help we needed - it was our first time ever to go for karakoeing.

All of our items were out of this world fantastic but I have to give a big ole shout out for that MANGO STICKY RICE! This was first time to have it and my husband and I both enjoyed. I appreciated the variety of Thai and Lao items on their menu and would like to come back and try some other things. They had a lot of customers coming in and out with to go orders. They used to be BYOB but I believe that is no longer the case. Although it's not AYCE, I think it's still worth it for the better meat quality, and prices are very reasonable. We usually order one of the beef combos and switch out one of the items for pork jowl (one of my favorite cuts, especially when it's crispy). The combos come with lots of side dishes, salad, rice, lettuce, soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese, making it a very complete meal. The servers offer to help you grill if you'd like. It has the right balance between an intimate classy establishment and a casual meet up place for a few friends. I went around Christmas time and the decor was really cute and not overdone. The food was amazing, and I would say it was reasonably priced. My dad loves this place because of how healthy fish is and that he can eat it with his special diet plan due to medical reasons. I have also tried the crystal roll (no rice), eel, and tuna, all of which were amazing. I absolutely plan on visiting again.

When I asked how many pieces it included when I ordered it, the waitress didn't seem to know, mentioning anywhere from 5 to 10 pieces. I'd probably not order this option on return visits.
