    Five-Spice Pork Belly Bahn Mi
    Megan L.

I like that the menu was relatively simple. It was quite easy to make a decision with 3 people. Bahn Mis: My friends ordered the grilled lemongrass chicken (4/5) and the five-spice pork belly bahn mi (4/5) respectively. They were quite impressive, especially the chicken. The five-spice pork belly was marinated just as well, but I would prefer the chicken. However, I was disappointed by tempeh satay bahn mi (2/5). I only tasted the daikon and the vegetable. Not so much on neither tempeh nor satay. I wouldn't recommend them. Bao Bun - Bao Trios (soft shell crab - 5/5, five-spice pork belly - 4/5, vietucky fried chicken - 3.5/5): All three of us agreed that soft shell crab was the best. Five-spice pork belly is eh. I am not so sure if vietucky fried chicken is the appropriate name since there's kimchi in it. The kimchi was indeed outstanding and complement the slightly bland fried chicken well, but because there's kimchi, it's more Korean than Viet...? But yeah, if I go back, I would 100% order the soft shell crab bao bun again. Sides: - Red Curry Mac N Cheese 4.5/5: Just a disclaimer, I am a sucker for mac n cheese. I am surprised how well the slightly sweetness of the red curry complements the mac n cheese so well. And it's not too spicy (red curry technically is not too spicy). - Sriracha Fries 4/5: My friends who love sriracha love this. I am not very biased towards this so I don't have much to say. But my friends love this - great for folks who love sriracha.

    GRILLED LEMONGRASS CHICKEN

This was my second time here as an out of towner. It's been a few years and the quality still hasn't dipped. The bread is airy and crispy. The ingredients are fresh and bright. The meat is tender and seasoned well. All around Bahn Mi Station is making incredible sandwiches. I ordered a lemongrass chicken bahn mi and it was devoured quickly. I added sriracha and jalapeños to compliment the pickled carrots, onion, cilantro and avocado. Not to mention they added plenty of (aoili?) sauce that was so great I wish I had a cup to dip the sandwich in.

Raw Pad Thai & Summer Rolls

I LOVE the fresh veggie-based Raw Pad Thai, not just the flavor of the sauce, but the colorful presentation of it. It just gives me joy to look at it honestly! Every dish I've tried tastes delish. My second favorite - the Summer Rolls and the coconut-based peanut sauce.. always YUM! I've tried the brisket in coconut curry bahn mi & the lemongrass chicken bahn mi is great, the bread has that special crunch to it. Can't wait to try the 5-spice pork belly! It's definitely worth the price for the quality of the ingredients and portions. I order mostly delivery but enjoy the patio seating available when I have the time. I love this business!

Fast casual Vietnamese cafe with nice menu. Easy access off Sylvan Avenue. Clean place with 2 and 4 tops and communal table with stools. Plenty of covered patio seating too. Free Parking on Sylvan Ave or in Sylvan Thirty strip mall lot. Friendly and fast service. Tasty Vietnamese classic sandwiches and bao buns, salads, & appetizers. Soft drinks, beer, etc. Casual ambience with contemporary music playing.

    BRISKET IN COCONUT CURRY

I got the Brisket option with coconut curry and the food was delicious, bread was crispy and staff was super nice overall

    BANH MI SALAD

This place is so refreshing the food is delicious I love the kale salad and I'm hooked on the Sriracha fries just make sure you add extra sauce the condiment containers are very small. Everything I've tried here has not disappointed and the cashier is so kind.

Dallas doesn't exactly scream Vietnamese, but hey why not switch it up from time to time? Manh mi station is primarily Vietnamese subs, which happens to be one of the sandwiches I find most enjoyable. Pretty simple concept: order at the counter kiosk, grab a table and wait for the food to be delivered table side. I go for the spring rolls and the pork belly banh mi. The rolls are extra crispy and come with a sweet dipping sauce. Satisfaction achieved! Now on to the main character. Did I mention it is 5 spice pork belly? Who can possible resist? The sandwich itself is enormous and comes filled with a generous portion of pork belly.....tender and flavorful. The one downside, the bread(which I know Is normally crispy in a typical banh mi) might be a little too crispy and doesn't have enough chew. But still a good sandwich overall.

    BUFFALO UN-CHICKEN
    Maeleth C.

Ahhhh!!!!! What a successful banh mi excursion. The bread was the perfect level of crunch and the buffalo unchicken was so juicy with the perfect buffalo sauce flavor. There's not much else to say, they had quick and prompt service, and the establishment had a cute, modern aesthetic.

Ratings from a teen and a pre-teen: They loved it. They raved about how great it was, although I've been to authentic Vietnamese places in Arlington and Richardson that serve legit bánh mì and bánh bao in those cash-only spots. That said, since it's not too spicy or overly seasoned, I can see why it's rated the "top bun bao" spot by folks new to Vietnamese cuisine. The spot isn't even owned by a Vietnamese family (Thai owned). It's a vegan-friendly spot, which is encouraging to see in this area. The interior is immaculately clean, and the decor is subtle yet bold with accent wall enhancements. The menu is short, straightforward, but rewarding. On the flip side: When you walk in, there is an order line and a pick-up line. The college student cashier had us waiting five minutes until the owner in the kitchen flagged that we needed to order. There is a large iPad-like kiosk facing the cashier that was offline (during lunch hour, no less), and we were asked to move to the pickup line to place our order. While the ordering took about 10 minutes, the food was out in less time than that. I'll return but only if my kids ask me to. Catch me outside in Arlington or Richardson Viet supermarkets instead.

The Food: The menu is way bigger than just pizza. Their NY-style pies are light and crispy (the Winnetka is the move if you like a little spice), but the meatball subs and whipped ricotta are just as good. They also have plenty of vegan and veggie options, which is a nice plus. The Vibe & Staff: The crew there is always friendly and moves fast even when the patio is packed. Our server was great and took the time to answer all our questions, but if you are reading this I am sure you are curious about the food! For the main course we had the Pork Schnitzel which was absolutely excellent. Great flavor and the pickled peppers were an excellent addition. We also had the Goodness Gracious pizza which was extremely flavorful and delicious. We ended with the Blackberry and Coconut soft serve with Maldon Salt Olive Oil. At 11am this past Friday I made a call to the place seeing how it works. I was told they typically sell out of the burger by 11:45. I figured I'd still head over and get the pastrami sandwich. Around 11:20 I called back to see if I could place an order for a later pick up of the burger. I was told no. Come 1pm for my lunch hour I decided to head that way and try my luck. As I walked in the first thing I asked the employee behind the counter was "do yall have any burgers left?" To my surprise she said "yes". I decided since my luck was so good and it was Friday I'd order both the burger and the pastrami sandwich. The burger was beautiful. Comparable only to one of NYCs best burgers from Au Cheval. This is by far the highest quality burger I've had in Dallas. The first bite was absolutely perfect. I look forward to coming back. P.S. The pastrami sandwich was good but nothing to write home about. I got it to go. I actually enjoyed it cold the next day. I think the pastrami could turn heads if it had more pastrami. Make it an event. Something comparable to Katz Deli. Make it an experience.

I ordered two sandwiches through the DoorDash app for pickup. The app clearly stated that the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad, which is why I chose that option instead of ordering a different special. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait in line before reaching the cashier. When I finally got to the counter, she handed me my sandwiches and then told me that I had ordered chips and potato salad but had not paid for them. I calmly explained that the app showed those items as included with the sandwich. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she needed to call the owner. She then had me step aside while she helped three other customers, leaving me waiting awkwardly off to the side. When the owner finally called her back, she spoke to him loudly (almost argumentatively) about me being there and "claiming" the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad. It was embarrassing because other customers could clearly hear what was happening. Ultimately, I was told the owner said the sandwiches did not come with those sides. At that point, I just took my sandwiches and left. The entire situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. If there was a mix-up with the app, that isn't the customer's fault. Good customer service would have been to honor what was displayed in the app and clarify the issue internally afterward. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

After multiple trips to the back by staff and nearly 25 minutes of waiting, I was finally told my cake had been placed in the wrong area and they were just then working on it. By the time I received the cake, my party had already started. The cake itself was clearly rushed. The writing was sloppy, the piping was uneven, and the overall finish looked nothing like the quality I expected based on what was promised. I understand custom cakes won't be identical to inspiration photos, but this wasn't even executed well as a much simpler version. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. Beyond a quick apology for being behind, there was no effort to make the situation right despite a three-hour delay on a prepaid order for a time-sensitive event.
