What a horrible experience. Do the owners even care? Don't think so. Place is run down. Dirty and in need of all kinds of repair. The staff are just kids and can't be at mad at them when they have no direction or training with management. Waiting here now 25 + mins for a shake. Unacceptable! . Absolutely ridiculous experience at Nektar at Woodbury in Irvine on August 10th at 2:45 I ordered online and my order was incorrect. Unfortunately there is no support for this online outside is email. I called the store to ask if they could do anything about it. When I was informed that they couldn't look up the order the worker on the phone seem to not know what to do (nor how to mute or unmute the phone) and hung up. When I called back she repeated she could not look up the order (while asking her coworker the answer to my questions). They said they cannot issue a refund and to contact support on the website. If I hadn't spent the additional money on these add ons I would just consider it a wash. A truly unfortunate experience. read more

Food: Their drinks have good ingredients like every other location. This location has had a very tough time with consistency. I have been several times and this most recent experience I ordered a pair Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Smoothie. One of the drinks included strawberries and the other did not. I physically watched someone pour my two drinks from the same blender and when I asked which had strawberries, they randomly picked one and stated it had strawberries instead of admitting to their mistake. Needless to say, I've never had an order taste the same in the countless times I've been to this location specifically. Service: The majority of the time, I've not been greeted or asked if I needed help upon entering even when I was the only person in the store. Ambiance: The place is generally clean and has an upscale vibe to it. They have two sets of giant Jenga blocks for those that want to hang around and plenty of outdoor seating as well. They have cleaned at really random times throughout the day and I have noticed a few times that it straight up smells like cleaning chemicals. Glad to know they clean and most likely bad timing on my part. Plenty of parking in the plaza. If they have any good deals, I guess it's worth a visit, but not my preferred Nektar location. read more

A good spot for healthier smoothies in Woodbury Town Center. This location is cleaned often, but the strong scent of bleach is a little bit off-putting when you enter. When we went in, both workers had headphones in and didn't acknowledge us until we went up to the counter. The menu items are healthy and have very good quality ingredients, but it is on the more expensive side. I've ordered the same smoothie a couple of times and it's fairly inconsistent with the ingredients based on taste.
