Per their recommendation, we got a mango strawberry smoothie and it hit the spot. Yes, it's still hot outside, so a smoothie was needed. The inside is small, but it's fine, because I'm sure the high school students close by just grab their drinks and go home and hang. A very middle of the pack place for boba. It's not bad, but there are definitely many other spots that are better within a few minutes of this location. There's a decent amount of parking in the shopping center. It can get crowded at times, but this location is tucked into one of the corners so it usually doesn't get as crowded. They have a bench inside, but there isn't much else seating wise. The tea itself was okay. I ordered a guava tea but there was no guava taste. The tea part was decent though. The boba somehow didn't have any flavor but it had a good texture to it. The drink was about $7 and I think there are much better places in the area for drinks for the same price. read more

We have been coming to this Boba time location for the past several years. This is the only Boba place in Orange County that I have found that has consistently good tasting Boba. Some places you get that weird old metallic taste. This one is sweet like gummy bears every single time! Their menu is massive and I have tried so many different drinks. Some favorites are the lychee, peach green tea, and honeydew milk tea. The service is great. Sometimes there's a lot of teenagers in there so it can get pretty crowded but if you go when it's an off hour then you should be good and not have a long way. I highly recommend! read more

This place is yummy ! The menu is great, the drinks look amazing. It's not really a place to lounge, if that's what you're looking for. There's only a little bench, just something to keep in mind. Otherwise wait for the staff to take your order when they are busy. Choice is yours. Sometimes drinks are too sweet, sometimes not sweet enough. It seems to depend on who makes your order. There isnt a level of consistency. Also the boba is hit or miss so I generally skip it. It's a good place to wait for your bbq chicken order. read more

We got the macha foam top with macha tea, it wasn't bad, but I think I was abit watered down. There was macha flavor but it's not as good as the other macha place off Jeffrey. The price was high too, even thought they do offer the first scoop of boba for free, but for the similar price point I would rather go to another boba place and exit away, just imho. read more

There's no seating area inside but there's a few tables and chairs outside. I've ordered online with no issues but we typically go in and order without any trouble. With more than sixty cafes spanding Fresno to San Diego, It's Boba Time is one of the most (if not the most) successful bubble tea franchises in CA. It's not my favorite place to go, but I visit on occasion. Some of the menu items I've tried include: Recommended - Pistachio Frappe. Super creamy, perfect sweetness, and had a nice nutty texture to it. Worth A Try - Any shake, smoothie or slush, they do a good job. My go to flavors are Strawberry, Watermelon, and Mango. Cold, refreshing, hard to mess up honestly. At Your Own Risk - Boba topping. I can't ever recall having a satisfying experience, it's always been on the mushy and soft side. The tea flavor in their milk tea drinks also doesn't really come out for me. It's either diluted and watery or sugary and milky. Never Again - Strawberry Matcha. Puree tasted super artificial and the tea was bland, mixing did not help. On the bright side, many of the OG boba chains that dominated the 90s and early 00s (Boba Loca, Lollicup, Tapioca Express, Quickly) continue to fade into obscurity, but this chain does well to stay relevant in today's crowded milk tea market. We love this place because they have Pistachio Milk Tea. The boba's here are pearl sized, therefore they are much smaller although chewy. My 11 year old has tried their Match Green Tea, Watermelon Tea, Pistachio, and a few others, they are all good that we have tried. We always ask for easy ice and adjust the sugar level. It's ALWAYS busy here, expect a wait of about 5 minutes if lines are long or there are online orders. And be clear how you want your drink too! If you want more of this and that, tell them. I like my Pistachio Latte with more pistachios, another prefers extra boba, you have to let them know. They are always apologetic too if it takes too long because this place is popular. Easily my new favorite boba place - all of their drinks are just so good. My favorites are the Jasmine Milk Tea with almond milk, and the Duet Milk Tea (coffee + milk tea) with almond milk. The drink mixes and boba just taste so fresh, not too sweet at all. I have even ordered drinks on Uber Eats from here - it arrives fast and is just as tasty. I highly recommend coming here and trying different things. They have great covid safety measures in place - squares taped on the ground to keep the line spaced for social distancing, and everyone has to wait outside for their drinks after ordering. There is even a barrier between you and the workers in the store and they all have masks and gloves. There is rarely a long line since they make drinks fast, so you won't be out there long. read more
