A very middle of the pack place for boba. It's not bad, but there are definitely many other spots that are better within a few minutes of this location. There's a decent amount of parking in the shopping center. It can get crowded at times, but this location is tucked into one of the corners so it usually doesn't get as crowded. They have a bench inside, but there isn't much else seating wise. The tea itself was okay. I ordered a guava tea but there was no guava taste. The tea part was decent though. We have been coming to this Boba time location for the past several years. This is the only Boba place in Orange County that I have found that has consistently good tasting Boba. Some places you get that weird old metallic taste. This one is sweet like gummy bears every single time! Their menu is massive and I have tried so many different drinks. Some favorites are the lychee, peach green tea, and honeydew milk tea. The service is great. We got the macha foam top with macha tea, it wasn't bad, but I think I was abit watered down. There was macha flavor but it's not as good as the other macha place off Jeffrey. This is my family's go to boba spot, we love it! It's super close to our home and so it's a nice bike ride here. The location is in a good spot in a plaza with lots of traffic. There's no seating area inside but there's a few tables and chairs outside. I've ordered online with no issues but we typically go in and order without any trouble. It's not my favorite place to go, but I visit on occasion. Some of the menu items I've tried include: Recommended - Pistachio Frappe. Super creamy, perfect sweetness, and had a nice nutty texture to it. Worth A Try - Any shake, smoothie or slush, they do a good job. My go to flavors are Strawberry, Watermelon, and Mango. Cold, refreshing, hard to mess up honestly. At Your Own Risk - Boba topping. I can't ever recall having a satisfying experience, it's always been on the mushy and soft side. The tea flavor in their milk tea drinks also doesn't really come out for me. It's either diluted and watery or sugary and milky. Never Again - Strawberry Matcha. Puree tasted super artificial and the tea was bland, mixing did not help. On the bright side, many of the OG boba chains that dominated the 90s and early 00s (Boba Loca, Lollicup, Tapioca Express, Quickly) continue to fade into obscurity, but this chain does well to stay relevant in today's crowded milk tea market. We love this place because they have Pistachio Milk Tea. The boba's here are pearl sized, therefore they are much smaller although chewy. My 11 year old has tried their Match Green Tea, Watermelon Tea, Pistachio, and a few others, they are all good that we have tried. We always ask for easy ice and adjust the sugar level. It's ALWAYS busy here, expect a wait of about 5 minutes if lines are long or there are online orders. And be clear how you want your drink too! If you want more of this and that, tell them. I like my Pistachio Latte with more pistachios, another prefers extra boba, you have to let them know. They are always apologetic too if it takes too long because this place is popular. It was my first time trying this place, and I asked about the difference between the brown sugar milk tea and the tiger milk, and found out the former is tea based. Keep in mind, the Yelp menu actually lists "tiger milk tea" which it should be tiger milk. I decided to order the brown sugar milk tea with half sugar and less ice. My friend who has been there before was surprised to find out the sugar and ice levels could be customized, so she also made the same requests. I think it would be great if employees proactively ask customers if they want to tailor the sugar and ice levels because that would take it to the next level of customer service. The drink was average, and even at half sweetness was a tad too sweet. My friend shared the same sentiment about her drink. Easily my new favorite boba place - all of their drinks are just so good. My favorites are the Jasmine Milk Tea with almond milk, and the Duet Milk Tea (coffee + milk tea) with almond milk. The drink mixes and boba just taste so fresh, not too sweet at all. I have even ordered drinks on Uber Eats from here - it arrives fast and is just as tasty. I highly recommend coming here and trying different things. They have great covid safety measures in place - squares taped on the ground to keep the line spaced for social distancing, and everyone has to wait outside for their drinks after ordering. There is even a barrier between you and the workers in the store and they all have masks and gloves.
