Stopped by this boba place for the first time and I decided to try the mango black tea with boba and 75% sugar ($6.50) and it was pretty good for the price point! The mango flavor was kind of subtle, but the drink still had good flavor. The service was good, the baristas were kind and gave some good drink recs and the ambiance was nice! It's not a very big place, so there's limited seating but it is very clean and there's a small claw machine and some cute trinkets they sell at the front that kids would like! I've been to quite a few boba places in the Portland area and I think this price point is pretty average and worth a trip if you're in the area! I do think there are better boba places closer to Portland downtown but I think Monster Tea is the best I've tried so far in the Lake Oswego area! This place is legit and will satisfy any tastebud. Theres been times I come in not knowing what I want and something will always jump out from the menu and catch my attention. Good creative tea | casual, quick, fun This is not my favorite boba tea stop, but it is a good place to grab boba when I'm in the area. They don't have an extensive menu, so I don't feel overwhelmed with a crazy amount of options. What stood out to me were the special themed drinks, and this time they're advertising Hello Kitty. I think they did Harry Potter before. I ordered Keroppi: matcha milk tea with pink foam. I'm particular about my matcha. I don't care for it being too sweet or too bitter but this was perfect! It's a hint of bitter and the pink foam complimented the matcha perfectly. If you like sugary sweet or fruity drinks, this may not be for you unless you ask for additional sweetness. This is perfect for my taste. My 6 yr old enjoyed the strawberry shortcake. The visual presentation was nice as you can see the swirl. I also ate their last spam musubi. The spam was nicely cooked to have a bit of a crisp on top. I didn't try their waffle, but it looks like the musubi is popular. Cute little quick stop with just enough room to wait for your order. They have a claw machine ($1) that, in my opinion, doesn't grip the plushie prizes well. You're better off paying $6 for the tiny version of the bigger plushie prizes at the cashier area. Staff were pleasant but not overly helpful with offering suggestions and navigating the menu. Food- can't review as we didn't order a waffle. Drink- We ordered the Tiger Brown Sugar Milk Tea & a Fruity Slush with Strawberry. The drinks are pretty good! I'd recommend those. Price for both drinks $14.30... that seems kinda high. Service- I'd say it was ok. The shop looks like it's run by local college audits. They were alright with recommendations for my kiddo. Ambiance- the hype is way more exciting from their Instagram. It looks all "magical" but it was low key just mediocre. I'm not quite sure I'd visit again as the overall staff just aren't that exciting or talkative. read more

Soft opening this weekend and was so excited to check it out! I've always been eyeing monster tea and their exciting concoctions. They have taken up shop where the shave ice used to be and I hope they do amazing. Their staff were extremely friendly and patient as our family of 4 made up their minds. O went for lychee slushee with boba, E got a strawberry shortcake, A was super excited to have coffee choices and got an Ube coffee and pudding, and I got the make your own matcha with mango. The drinks came out quickly and they were so good! O loved the slushie. E cried as we pried the strawberry shortcake from her for the car ride home. A finished his before we even loaded into the car. And I loved the mix of mango with matcha which I had never had before! I can't wait to go back to try more flavors! I definitely want to get the musubi and bubble waffles next time too! read more

I was looking forward to trying their boba from the day they opened. While it did not disappoint, I could imagine that if you were not familiar with boba, you could have been very confused. Easy location to find with plenty of parking. Staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered a Ube Coffee with boba and a salted caramel boba tea with a waffle /honey. The salted caramel was ok, but enjoyed the Ube coffee. The honey waffle was on the flakey side so different than what most bubble places sell. Still quite good, reminded me of a croissant in waffle form. Next time I will try the Oreo frozen boba. I saw someone order that and it looked yummy! read more

We wanted to try this place since it was new and we are fans of bubble tea. I was disappointed with the flavors. Practically all of the flavors are syrup based. We ordered 3 drinks and all of them did not turn out well. I ordered the original milk tea and asked for 25% sweetness and it was overly sweet. I can't image what 100% would have tasted like! The boba was hard, seemed like undercooked or possibly refrigerated. Yuck! My kids got the chocolate milk and mango slush. Both of them took a sip and couldn't finish. The chocolate milk was hot. Should have put more ice. The mango slush was made with syrup and not real mangos. Didn't taste good. The reason for two stars is the staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. I hope the owners read these reviews and do something about it. I really support having another bubble tea shop in LO and hope this will be successful. read more

Eclectic vibe. I ordered the honey bubble waffle and boy was it delicious. It was light and airy, not dense like a Belgium waffle. The flavor was sweet but not too sweet. The best part was the crispy outside with a chewy inside, but not doughy like it had been uncooked. The texture resembles a croissant. 10/10 recommend!!! So nice to have a bubble tea place in Lake Oswego on the opposite side of town as Sharetea. And this is a great location with plenty of parking right near the Petco. They just opened so it was quite busy. But they are well staffed. A little longer than usual to get drinks but they give you a buzzer that goes off when your order is ready. They have your typical assortment of milk teas but some other cool options too. Kids had a mango and passion fruit drink with boba which was good and not overly sweet. I had the ube coffee with coffee jelly. Very purple and good - could have used more coffee taste. I would love to see a simple coffee milk tea added to the menu. You can choose sugar and ice levels. They also have musubi and bubble waffles. Drinks are in the 5-6 dollar range but cups are on the larger side. Ambiance is nice. Overall small space with some bench seating and then a long bench to sit and wait for drinks. More of a takeout place - not a place to go grab boba, socialize and play board games. I love the art of a bear hooked up to an IV pole getting a boba infusion. Staff were friendly. Seemed to be still working out the kinks on their ordering platform but you can get points as a frequent visitor. Definitely a place I'll return to, both because the drinks are good but also because the location is a lot more convenient to me. read more
