Picked up an order placed over the phone at this location. When I got there, the employee gave me my order after I had paid and stated they had made it wrong due to a misunderstanding. I politely asked to have it remade the way I had ordered it and was told I will need to pay again because the food was made, when I requested a refund for the food I paid for and was not going to eat or take, I was given an email and advised that the only way for me to get a refund was to reach out to this email. I have sent 3 emails with zero response, so I figured a 1 star Yelp may get the message thru a bit more clear ;). If you mess up an order due to a misunderstanding, either offer to remake it or give a refund, expecting someone to pay twice and then send emails for a refund on one of the charges is crazy. read more

One employee on the side was cleaning out the blenders, but the others just seemed to be chatting... When I was finally greeted. I let the cashier know that it was my first time visiting, and she told me what some of their popular items were. After studying the menu, I decided to go with the Pink Flamingo which is a blend of dragon fruit, strawberry, pineapple, coconut water, and, agave nectar. Honestly, I wasn't a fan. Idk if it was maybe too much agave for my tasting, or what? But, it wasn't my favorite, and I definitely wouldn't order it again. But, I noticed a sign that if I downloaded their rewards app, that I'd get a free smoothie or bowl. So, I did that to give them another try! I have been to this location a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. Service is good and I like that this location has more seating than another one that's closer to my home. I've been to this chain a few times now, and really I just think it's overpriced. For over $6.50, I expect it to be much more POWERFUL in flavor and leave a lasting impression. It really doesn't do that, and it's a bit unforgettable. I mentioned to my friend afterwards that I wish I could have created my own smoothie, and he said that it is possible! I just didn't really see anything advertising that on the menu, like a list of ingredients. Today I ordered açaí bowls online from Nekter. Let me start off by saying I have lived with a nut allergy my entire life and usually very careful to avoid them. The online ordering portal gives zero options to note any allergies. I chose an açaí bowl and asked for apple juice in lieu of the cashew milk, and gluten free granola in lieu of the regular. As soon as I took a couple bites of my açaí bowl, my throat began to swell, my hands and feet started to become numb, and my stomach began to cramp. I believe that this was not a case of cross contamination. I believe cashew milk was used. I called Nekter to inform them of their mistake, and they informed me they were sure they used apple juice... CLEARLY THEY DID NOT. They offered to make me another bowl, but at that point I was at the toilet trying to rid my body of the cashew milk. In the future, if someone calls because of an allergy mishap, sympathize with them. Tell them they will make sure to not let this happen again in the future. Own up to it! And update your online ordering portal to show allergy information. read more
