My sister and I came in today for the grand opening of Nekter in Uptown Plaza. We'd never been here before, but figured it was a good time to try it since they were offering $1 16oz juices and smoothies for the day :) they were really busy for the event, so I was really impressed with how fast they were able to keep the line moving. At busy times you can sometimes expect to see poor service, but everyone was great here. We decided to try the juices, I got The Greenie and my sister tried The Sublime. For green juices, I thought they were really good, but I think those take getting used to lol. I'll definitely want to come back to try their blended juices, smoothies, and acai bowls sometime, though I would say this place is a little on the expensive side. You do get what you're paying for though in fresh ingredients. Nothing makes me feel more healthy (at least for the moment) than a fresh pressed juice does! I love coming into Nekter and filling myself with something that's good for me! They have a decent amount of choices and everything tastes good, even the green juices. They also have an awesome to go section with most of their fresh juice options. Sometimes the service is a little meh, no one working ever seems super happy to be there but I can get over this. I love this place specifically for the juices. I have a juicer at home and make juices weekly, but sometimes when I'm too busy or just don't feel like making them myself I come here. It is - little pricey in the sense of what the ingredients actually cost, but it's comparable to other places, it's fresh, and customizable (which I love). I absolute love this juice bar.And to make it even better if they just started serving vegan ice cream the chocolate bliss was very good although would consider it to be closer to dark chocolate. I order from here all. the. time. Literally every day I'm in the office, I order a Toxin Flush for delivery from GrubHub or one of those. Today I received a fully separated juice that was nothing but apple juice with the slightest hint of green. It being separated is normal, I expect that. But when I see that literally 80% of the cup is see through because it's nothing but apple juice with green stuff floating on top, I know it's off. I mixed it up and tried it in case it was a fluke - it wasn't. It's like grass flavored apple juice. When I reached out to the delivery people, they contacted the restaurant on my behalf who, in turn, told them that the base of the juice is apple juice... That's great, I can see that apple is an ingredient on the menu and I get that a lot of this is going to be filler to be cost-effective or whatever. But, as I said, I order this drink ALL THE TIME. I know for a fact that I'm not spending $13 each time on a nearly full cup of apple juice like I did today. $13 worth of apple juice would last me a month - not a lunch. How about taking accountability for your product and making it right instead of passing off some BS about the base of the drink? I know for damn sure that no one would be okay with these prices for that result. It's okay to have to coach or re-train people - use it as a learning experience and make sure they're using proper ratios so they don't diminish the integrity of your product and rip people off. Honestly, I'd have appreciated an apology and a remake. It wasn't the refund I was after. If you need me, I'll be over here in a sugar coma, dying from my "apple juice based toxin flush". read more

I arrived at the Nekter Juice Bar at 100 E Camelback on 9/3/20, 6:53pm. Upon arrival I ordered a Greenie, but was told "We just put our juicer away." I was then recommend a "similar" grab and go drink in the cooler. The problem is I have various allergies and I can not consume products that contain sugar in them so I left without a beverage. I suppose my question is why still have your doors open if you are not available to provide items on the menu? I understand that it is close to closing time, but the service that I received was unacceptable and unprofessional. Very disappointed in the poor service that was displayed. read more

Service here is terrible. I've given them multiple attempts now but today was the last straw. The workers were rude to the point of being borderline hostile, they left out some important ingredients that I asked for, and didn't even apologize or offer to make things right. I understand it's Christmas Eve but, having worked customer facing and customer service jobs before, when you're behind the counter the customer should be top priority. No greeting upon entrance, no smiles or pleasantries of any kind, and the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't know if the staff need retrained, reminded what good customer service looks and sounds like, or if they just need all new staff at this location. Something needs to happen though. read more

This location gas THE WORST customer service. I work in the complex & have been coming to this location for a year & a half. I can say that only one time I had a solid customer service experience. i don't write reviews but after today's experience, I felt that I needed to add my experience. I walked in & three girls looked over at me. I smiled, nobody smiled back & one of the girls happened to say "welcome in" in the most unenthusiastic & unhappy tone. I waited a couple minutes for one of them to come up to take my order patiently. I don't mind waiting, they had what looked like a massive online order. Then one of the girls came over but turned to add granola to another container, not making eye contact with me & said in a low volumed tone, "we'll be right with you." Then a different gale came over to me, again not making eye contact, decided to pull all of her hair back into a pony tail to the. Look up at me to ask what I would like. I said I'd like the peanut butter açaí bowl, sun almond butter & add pea protein. She then took my payment & spun around the machine for my signature. Once my bowl was ready, one of the girls placed my bowl down & dropped she spoon on the counter (unsanitary) & said acai peanut butter bowl. I said thank you & took the bowl because I needed to get back to work. I figured since she wasn't the girl who took my order that she mispoke that it was meant to have almond instead. Definitely not almond butter inside once I got back to eat it. What if I had a peanut allergy? Every time I go in to this location, everybody looks like they hate their jobs & have lousy attitudes. Do they not realize they are putting that irritated/angry/hateful energy into our food that we consume?! If you don't like your job, get a new job. read more

One of the better locations! Nēkter usually has a bright, bright atmosphere, there's nothing wrong with the quality, just doesn't feel very inviting. However, this location is very warm and welcoming. Lots of seating and natural colors. read more

I love nekter but today I was very disappointed. I went to get my usual. The smoothie bowl was practically liquid not the usual texture and was mostly toppings not even half base. I went back to have them fix it and they didn't apologize simply said they'd get me another and asked for the other one back rudely which I found odd. Absolutley HORRIBLE, I will never come back to this location again. When I called and spoke to Maddie who claimed to be the Manager on Duty about my pumpkin mousse chia parfait missing the goji berries we paid to have added on top she said they don't have them and we weren't charged. I told her that's not true I'm looking right at it on my mobile order, also you didn't bother including a spoon and there is an inch of empty space between the top of the parfait and the cup. That's not what's shown in the pictures and I've never received one like this at any other location I've gone to. Maddie's response to me is the pictures are fake and that's how it comes sorry. I told her I want a call from the actual Store Manager or the District Manager and she told me I'm not a priority and that wouldn't be happening and then hung up on me. I ordered two drinks once thinking I could redeem two drink punches ((Tempe location does this)) and the girl checkin me out rolls her eyes and says No it's one punch per transaction...which is crazy. $20 juices and you get a punch. COVID is no excuse for being rude. I was in your store on Saturday and I witnessed one of your employers being disrespectful and rude to a customer that did come in without a mask. I understand masks are required and that's 100% fine but it was the way your employee handled the situation that was wrong. Raising your voice being rude and disrespectful and just being embarrassing should not happen to anyone because there were six people in the store in addition to the person that was without a mask.
