    Eggs benedict with home fries

We stopped in for breakfast on a Friday morning. There are several signs posted so that people know they are cash only. I had heard good things about the cinnamon swirl pancakes, so that is what I ordered. I was not disappointed! I had the large stack which was three pancakes and I brought some home. They were delicious. My wife ordered eggs benedict which came with home fries. This is a relatively small place, and they insist that all in your party must be present before you are seated. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and I'm sure we will be back again soon.

WOW! Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday after helping my daughter and her husband moved to North Tonawanda from Cleveland. Yvonne, our server was the nicest person you could ask for. I had the omelet special in the photo. Make sure you select the homemade Italian bread from Di Camillo bakery. Coffee mugs are meant for giants-just what we needed, and the coffee was delicious. Everybody was happy with their selections. The place was clean and neat, and simple. No complaints. Would highly recommend this place. We will be back next time we visit the kids. ;)

Do your tastebuds a favor and have breakfast here. The service was fast and friendly! The food was so flavorful and great portions. We got there when tables were available and had no wait but there is limited space inside so by the time we left there were patrons lined up outside. I'd definitely return if ever in the area again.

Solid breakfast offerings at reasonable prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly and courteous. Definitely feel the homey vibe of the place as many of the customers were regulars and the staff chatted with them by name. I had the Nelson special ($7.99) which came with pancakes, eggs, sasauge (or bacon), and home fries. Everything came out hot and fresh and the whole meal was delish.

A little hidden jem in Niagara Falls. Nelson's has good food, nice service and everything is a decent price too. I ordered 2 over easy eggs any style with sausage and fruit. The eggs were perfectly cooked and tasted great! My friend got the eggs Benedict and he loved it too. Will come back again!

A small classic, yet modern breakfast spot along the Niagara. Sat at the counter and quickly had a delicious cup of hot coffee. I went for the Nelson's Breakfast Special. Two eggs scrambled, sausage , home fries and two pancakes ($8.99). Food came out very quickly, was hot and delicious. Pankcakes were large and fluffy with good flavor. Hash browns were tasty with great seasoning. All in with coffee and tip was $15. Solid. I'll be back.

Great food, good service, excellent prices. The only thing bad that I can say about them is that they aren"t open 24 hours!

From the moment I walked in, the restaurant had a very musty smell, but that didn't bother me too much. Our server was also not very personable, which I completely understand because not everyone is, so that alone wasn't a big deal. We ordered the homemade pizza roll-ups, and they were honestly very good. However, one of them was completely raw in the middle. We let our server know, and her response was just that she would tell the kitchen. There was no offer to make it right. I ordered the Alfredo, which is something I've had at many different restaurants and have never had an issue with before. I also had actually tried the Alfredo here when the previous owners had the restaurant and I really liked it, so I was excited to have it again. Unfortunately, this time it just wasn't good; the sauce was completely different and the pasta was hard. I took a couple of bites and genuinely couldn't eat the rest. I let our server know, and again, there really wasn't much of a response or concern. What made the experience more disappointing was that I was there celebrating my birthday. I had planned on getting dessert afterward, but after everything that happened, I honestly just wasn't in the mood anymore. Overall, if you were planning on trying this place for the first time or returning to try it again I really wouldn't.

The bread options are wonderful and she had a list of about 5-7 soups to choose from. Server was very nice as well as the girl cashing us out. My only one recommendation would be possibly finding a different vessel for the soup like a hot paper/cardboard soup cup because the plastic container is flimsy and gets quite hot! All in all will be a new frequent flyer :)

Truly the best soup and sandwich combo my husband and I have enjoyed in 25+ years together. I had the Lemon chicken and chickpea soup with a turkey, bacon, and swiss sandwich pressed on fabulous Cuban bread. The flavor of the soup was outstanding and the texture of the Cuban bread pressed with so much fresh sliced turkey and bacon that I could not even finish the half of a sandwich. My husband loved, loved, loved the French onion soup that Michelle has a secret recipe for (I am sure it's a secret because we have NEVER had French onion soup like this before)! His half of a sandwich was a turkey Reuben that was on wonderful marbled pumpernickel and rye bread with so much meat it was tough to bite into. But he did it and it was out of this world GREAT! Candy was our server and was terrific. Michelle came out of the kitchen as the owner to say hi as we had met her out of The Gateway Cafe & Grill the week before. A FANTASTIC place for lunch! Do not hesitate to stop in.
