First time here for brunch, but I must say it was well worth it. I do encourage making a reservation to ensure you get preferred seating whether that be inside or outside. They do validate parking inside for 2 hours, so DO NOT pay in the parking lot. I ordered the big breakfast, which was the perfect size to share. Overall very enjoyable and flavorful. There was more than enough food on the platter. You should leave here full and satisfied. I DO NOT recommend the pineapple mimosa. The pineapple flavor tasted and looked very artificial and I'm unsure if it was even prepared properly considering the glass it came in. It lacked the bubbles part of a mimosa. This would be a great spot for a bachelorette party, friend group, date etc.... This place gives rustic and southern hospitality. We stopped in after work for a quick bite. The menu was very limited but we each made a choice. I had the hot chicken and waffles, it was simply delicious! The Chechen was well cooked and seasoned. The waffle yummy. The portion was huge! Like two whole sandwiches, my husband had to eat the second half! He had the buffalo chicken, that was a perfect hat sauced veggie option of chicken wings. Lastly our friend had the pulled pork sando, he loved every last, huge, bite and I tasted one of his onion rings, it was hand battered goodness. I came here on a Saturday morning in September around 11:15 and although I had made reservations, it looked like you really didn't need to as there were some table options both inside and out. But in less than an hour by noon, it was pretty full. All of the staff, from the greeting hostess to our waiter, were all super friendly and made good recommendations for us out-of-towners. Went to big machine Tavern in Nashville for the first time with friends- thankfully with a reservation this time so no two hour wait like before. The ambience was good and mellow perfect for weekend brunch without having to shout over loud music. We started with bottomless mimosas, which we loved because you can pick your own juice and even add syrups to customize them. For food, we ordered the Bigger Machine Breakfast, Monte Cristo, and Big Machine Breakfast. Everything came out hot and flavorful. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the Montecristo was solid, though I personally would've prefer maple syrup instead of the raspberry. We also tried the boozy flight: it was very sweet so if you like less sugary coffee drinks it may not be your favorite. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, drinks and relaxed vibe. Unfortunately, from the moment we sat down, it took almost 40 minutes to get our drinks -- and they came out just a couple of minutes after our food arrived. During that entire time, we only saw our waitress once, and that was just to tell us our drinks were "coming right out." One of my friends ordered bottomless drinks, so literally all she needed was vodka in a cup. The food was really good, and the entertainment was great. If you hear the name Evan Khay in Nashville, go see him! Now for the service... honestly, 4/10, and I may even be generous with that rating. After waiting forever for our drinks and food, the manager came over and asked us to leave because another reservation needed the table. We were actually about to order another round of drinks, but we had been waiting on the waitress to come back around. We barely saw her during the meal, so maybe it was her break time -- who knows. What really caught us off guard was that there was an empty table the exact same size right behind us. When my friend told the manager we were about to order another drink, she offered to "get that right out for us," but at that point, absolutely not. Not only were we being asked to leave, but we had already been waiting another 10-15 minutes just to pay the bill. So overall: Food -- great. Entertainment -- amazing. We were given complementary biscuits, jam and butter. The tables aren't that large for their most popular item, breakfast board. I stopped by Big Machine today for a solo brunch. From the photos online and TikToks I'd seen, it looked like a pretty cool spot. When I arrived around 12:30, there was about an hour and a half wait for a table for one, so I decided to sit at the bar. Right away, service was a little rocky. I sat for about 12-15 minutes without anyone greeting me or offering water. I eventually got a water, but the bartender walked off before I could order. Finally, I flagged down a manager--a short woman who looked like she was running things--and she took my order. I ordered the breakfast platter, which comes with two biscuits, bacon, ham, country-style potatoes, and scrambled eggs. I also tried the blueberry beer, which was actually really good. The food came out in about 10-12 minutes and overall tasted good. The potatoes were a bit salty, but honestly, I appreciated that the food was actually seasoned (rare for Nashville in my experience). The biggest issue for me was the overall service at the bar. Long delays just to get water, to place my order, and then again when it was time to get my check--it took about 15 minutes because the computers were backed up with other servers using them. Because of those delays, I didn't leave a tip this time. Despite all of that, I would come back. They had live music that added to the vibe without being too loud or overwhelming. I just wouldn't sit at the bar again. With a proper table and better service, I think the experience could be completely different. read more

When I first booked I didn't think much about it I said okay bottomless mimosas, I lied it's like vodka, and you're choices of mixed drinks bc you have to get up and build ur own which is fun honestly and creative. Great location, other than the parking. Seriously, I don't know how to get restaurants to understand you deal with the devil parking companies as Big Machine has, you lose customers. Have been going there for a few years now. It's always been a pretty good experience. My kids like it, trivia nights are fun, good place to stop and just relax... well, until the parking lot change. Now it's a timed event. I mean was there a real problem with people parking there who were not their customers? A problem big enough to hassle all of their customers with threats of towing and having to deal with a company that it's impossible to deal with if they make a mistake? I really did like it, but knowing that I'm facing yet another potential fight with big parking really turns it into a downer. read more

We made a couple of reservations for our large group and communicated with the staff appropriately. We arrived at opening and had a couple of issues with being seated. We then received some info from Maddy the waiter that the group would be charged under one bill and things couldn't be split. (It really was very off putting because the manager then got involved) our other server Delanie was AMAZING!! She had great energy. Big Machine Berry Hill - Excellent Big Machine Parking - Berry Hill - Terrible, double billed & watch out. The restaurant and expanded area get 5 stars. When you walk in they ask you to scan their QR code for 2 free hours and the receptionist even helped with it. I added an extra hour as well. To my surprise I walk out and have a PMC notice attached for an additional $38.42 as my car is not registered. My advice...take an UBER or forget this place. Not worth the hassle and expense. So it's time for Sunday brunch? Stop looking, and start heading towards Big Machine Distillery. We are SO happy we found this place on our trip to Nashville and only wish we had something similar at home. The ambiance is great with ample outdoor seating, and it is nicely shaded under canopies. For Sunday brunch, they a special unlimited Vimosa bar (mimosas but with house-made vodka) for $25 a person. They bring you a glass of vodka, you go to the bar and make whatever you want. Rinse and repeat. There's also supplies to make bloody Mary's. And yes, they call it unlimited and I'm sure some people test that, but my experience was a bunch of relaxed people having a good time, no concern for drunk and disorderly. They offered "boozy" coffees that looked and sounded good, but I didn't personally try one this visit. Shout out to our server Michael! He was fantastic and I'd come back just knowing he's working and we could enjoy his great personality again. For food, we got the Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict, and it was everything I was hoping for. Hot, tender, flavorful. A real win. My wife had the stuffed French toast and while I would describe them more like crepes because of how thin the bread was, it still tasted good. In my mind, French toast is thick slices of bread.
