They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)

Now I have a fireplace that works again, and it turns out I don't even need to replace the pilot assembly after all. What impressed me most is Logan didn't have to help me the way he did. He could have easily just scheduled a service call and replaced the part, but instead he took the time to help me troubleshoot it first. The entire process was very easy and smooth. I set up the appointment and they showed up on time. I think the technical who visited me to do the measurement was Jim. He was very meticulous and did a great job in getting all necessary measurements. After the measurement was done I talked to Aaron, I think, on the phone to pick a wood fireplace insert. He walked me thru a few different models. I had a particular one in mind because I received the quote for that model from other places thus I wanted to do an apple to apple comparison. But Aaron told me some details that no one else did. It was about the regulation in the hearth in front of the fireplace. I looked up online and found what Aaron said to be correct. Though this probably won't be an issue but in case there is a fire I'm sure my insurance company likely will not miss this one. When they arrived to do the installation they made sure put a sheet all the way from my door to the fireplace to protect my floor. They also wore a face mask due to COVID-19. Because the fireplace insert was just shy of fitting my masonry fireplace perfectly which left a small gap on both sides, less than 1 inch, they had to come back again to install a metal backplate. Overall I think they did a great job and was professional and easy to work with.

Andrew's team did an amazing job on my 88 year old house. The 9' and 10' original lintels over the…read morefront window and garage door were badly rusted. The brick wall had developed significant cracks zigzagging through the mortar. The replacement process was quite involved as 1 or more feet of the wall above the lintels had to be removed. When they came out one of the lintels had rusted to the point that it could be bent by hand while the other had holes. Over about 3 days they replaced them and put back the original bricks. Now I can't tell that anything was ever wrong with the wall. The new mortar is a perfect match for the original. I have recommend Brick by Brick to a couple of other neighbors. And I'll be calling them back for other window and repointing with in the future.
