I have eaten at Nessy Burgers before they moved from the Park and Ride location at the I-15 and SR 76 freeways. The burgers were to die for and the fries were the best! I would put their burgers up against anyone's. Today my friend and I decided to take the drive out there and we stopped for a famous Nessy Burger. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever again. The burger was NOT the same as it was back a few years ago. The bun on both of ours was hard and dried out. It was stacked with lettuce to make you think you're getting a good deal and the fries were nothing special. The meat was not the same and we both agreed we would never eat there again. The price has also changed for the worse. 2 burgers 2 fries and 2 drinks was $40.00 and some change. Very big disappointment to say the least. read more

I really don't understand the hype about this place. I've seen it my whole life (seemingly) going to the beach. I've heard about Nessy for a long time, so had to take the drive up. Split the 1/2 pound Nessy Burger and chili cheese fries, also got a vanilla/chocolate shake. The thousand-island on top of the burger was tremendous! The meat was a little overcooked (no pink), but it still had some moistness. With all of the toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion) it was a significant burger, even if I split it in half. Tried the regular fries and they were a little crispy, which I Iiked . The Chili cheese fries were alright, but a little soggy. I asked if they could combine flavors for a shake, and the woman was nice enough to mix chocolate and vanilla. Boy my last visit to Nessy's really bummed me out. For years I've judged all hamburgers by a Nessy Burger... for me it was the standard of excellence. We moved 7 years ago and this was our first vist back, last Friday. It's still big. It's still good. But... no sear, no beef taste, nothing special at all. To start with, I was thrilled the parking lot was big enough for all of our trucks with horse trailers attached! We all definitely appreciated that! Nessy burgers not much to look at. But please do let that stop you from giving it a try! It is definitely worth getting off the freeway for! I had a Nessy burger and an order of onion rings. The burgers are huge and very tasty! Mine was big enough to share with a friend! The onion rings were crispy and delicious! Sadly, I lost most of mine to everyone at my table!. Probably should have gotten two orders to go around! We stopped early in the morning at the recommendation of my step son. The burgers were huge. My husband and I should have shared!! They were juicy and delicious. I'm so glad we shared the fries. The patty is large and extremely thick. It comes with cheese, onions, tomato and about half a head of lettuce (which I immediately removed). Then, they give you pickles, jalapeños, ranch, and Thousand Island dressing, all in individual cups, on the side. It's a messy, delicious feast. The onion rings were cooked fresh and were very good. But everyone gets the chili cheese fries. I love chili cheese fries but I can only handle one heart attack per meal. Outdoor patio seating only or just get takeout. This is one of those hidden in plain sight joints. It's 30 seconds right off the 15 freeway. But the place is no secret. They get very busy for good reason. This is a follow-up to my last review, and Nessy Burger continues to impress! If you have not been here before here are some helpful tips; The restaurant has 10% off discount days. Monday (If you were your Nessy T-shirt), Tuesday (for ages 55+), Wednesday (for first responders), and lastly Thursday (for students). Breakfast is served all day. Be prepared for long lines. The dining area is outside and is small so be prepared to wait for a table. You have to ask for your silverware and condiments (Nessy sauce, pickles, ranch, Jalapeños, etc) at the pick up window. Lastly, most importantly everything is sold separately and there are (no combos). On this visit, I decided to try the Polish Sausage and Egg Sandwich for $8.75, along with a bag of fries. Let me just say, both were absolutely delicious! The sandwich was a perfect blend of savory sausage and a fluffy sunny side up egg, all packed into a fresh, tasty bun. The fries were crispy and golden, just the way I like them. The staff, as always, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to have a staff member dedicated to cleaning off the tables as customers leave because people can be messy at times.
