The Nessy burgers are some of the best burgers I've ever had. I've always received my food in a timely manner.

Great burgers, chicken sandwichs, and chili fries!!! Does take a bit to get through the line and receive your food, but well worth the wait. I do recommend getting drinks at the mobile gas station next door. Please also note that chili cheese fries are not on the menu, but they will make it for you. I don't get it!?!?!? I tried Nessy for the second time yesterday...remembering that I was underwhelmed on the first visit. So....even more disappointed on the second try! What I do get, is that Nessy has a Cult following primarily due to it's location in the middle of nothing and the cute little trailer set up. Also, I get the freshness of the product and the service (although understandably slow) is good. Other than that....the burger is flat out weak! The meat has NO flavor, the bun doesn't have a good texture and starts to fall apart while eating and is just boring over all. The frozen crinkle fries are fine. I haven't tried anything else, but it's all about the burger anyway. I say, wait a few minutes and drive to IN & OUT or really treat yourself and go to Rocky's in PB!!! Originally next to Mobil, Nessy Burgers moved next to the Pala Mesa Market a few years ago. I always go there once or twice per month for a burger and it's huge and it's taste better than in-n-out. Less travel for me because I live closer to the place. Although the burger is a little pricey now at around $6 but it's the best burger joint in the area! read more

Came here to see what all the hype was about. Always passed it by It's always packed really no where to sit only 3 benches in front of this lil Nessy shack. Ordered Nessy burger, fries, chili cheese fries and a polish dog which was actually a sandwich. Fries where delicious and perfectly crispy yummmm! Honestly the burger is very big but lacks seasoning I can taste the lettuce & tomatoes & dressing more than the beef! I was so disappointed driving all the way from Hemet to try this not worth the drive! May come back again but only if on the way to Oceanside! read more

Be prepared to wait in line 5-15 minutes. Once ordered just takes few minutes. Gotta drive to this place, not a regular drive by location. Shack and pic-nic style location. Meat is not like frozen patty but rather tasteless, but with all the goodies you have a wonderful burger experience, and really large patty. Fries started frozen but are beefy and tender. Onions in the burger patty. Some people don't like that but if you like onions then boom. Super good. Chili fries too.

i should have reviewed this a long time ago as nobody in my family is willing to drive out to get burgers here. it is kinda out of the way, and there are TONS of closer burger places. but, if you are nearby, i STRONGLY recommend this place, i can still smell the burgers, and it has been MANY years. but, if you eat in your car, BE CAREFUL to not drop even a single piece of food, our car smelled like burgers for months afterwards, i was not bothered by it, my father didn't like that too much though. read more

This is hands down one of the best burger joints around!!! If you're ever heading towards San Diego or north bound from San Diego or in the area make sure to make this a stop!!!! Burgers are huge!!! Just noticed today they're moving into a new spot but they are open throughout construction. Expect to pay around $16 for a meal but portions are huge!! I would even recommend splitting their burger, no inside seating but they do have several tables outside with umbrella shades. It's pure quality all around! The Nessy burger is the way to go! There is always a line of people no matter when I come, that alone should tell you something; they are truckers, golfers, business associates, families, grandparents & kids, but you can't please everyone, which explains some of the negative coments.
