NettBar is one of my favorite spots in Houston for drinks! This is a dog-friendly bar with outdoor and indoor seating. They have plenty of activities outdoors including darts, ping pong, bocce ball, bags, etc. There's usually a food truck out there as well. This tucked away bar around Washington Ave is a great spot to bring friend and HH crowd for casual drinks. They have a good selection of frozen drinks and are really cool about letting customer order food into the bar to eat. The doorman and bar are running a parking scam with HPD. He watches while people park in tow away zones after 11pm and says nothing while checking id's. The sign is further down w a driveway in between and very unnoticeable. He also treated patrons like garbage after the fact. The bar itself is a watered down axelrad, nothing or no one interesting to see here. read more

Great place! This bar has outdoor patio. To call it a patio is underrated! From swings to bocce ball , bags to connect four! I loved this place in the Heights. I went for trivia night last night on Wednesday. It started at 8. Myself and a group of friends had a great time. Lovely hostess, the staff is friendly, and the food truck on premises was great, too. Even though it was still a hot night, we sat outside and were surprisingly comfortable. It's a large outdoorsy place, but I'm glad we have this place here in the heights. It's gay friendly as well. read more

This place is so cool!!! We stopped by right when the train was passing and they have $2 shots which were refreshing. They have all kinds of fun games. Giant Jenga, giant connect four, corn hole and bocce ball. They are super dog friendly so I got to pet some very friendly dogs. read more

I had a very fun time hanging out at NettBar. The outdoor activities and lighting really set the mood for the night. Spent most of my time playing ping pong and surprisingly one of my competitors was Oswaldo, the owner of the bar! He was super chill and passionate about improving his business for his guests. Dogs are allowed on leash, they have a big yard and a killer mojito, probably one of the best I've ever had.

We discovered this place randomly, when trying to get around an accident on Washington Ave. This is a fantastic bar. Great atmosphere and drinks. Obviously since it's mostly outside, it'll be hot in the summer. I live within walking distance of Down the Street, and I come here instead because the clientele and staff is much friendlier. read more

We went to NetBar this past weekend for drinks to go and the food truck park. We got shrimp poboys from Nola's Poboys, great value and very good. Highly recommend! We also got the 64oz of dreamsicle, excellent as well! I was excited to get one of my favorite drinks to go. When we arrived we were greeted and they explained how everything worked. It was a great setup and social distancing was in place. I felt very safe, all transactions are completed outdoors. This is a great way to support local business during Covid. Came here for happy hour. They have 4 different kind of frozen drinks that were $5 so I ended up trying all of them. I think it played a major role of my hangover so drink with caution lol They have this fun drink thing called "train shots" which is basically whenever a train is visible from the bar then it will be $2 shot of the day for that timeframe. I didn't get to participate since the train delayed us from getting their on time, the irony! They have a huge patio/outdoor area, looks fun with bocce but it was super hot so we opted to stay indoors. It's a nice, chilled bar in the Washington Corridor. I would come back again! read more

This place is the new spot. BELIEVE ME. They have lawn games, table games, popcorn, good beer, chill vibes and clean 'throoms. New, updated interior. They're long on AC and short on attitude. We sat next to a really chill pure bred doodle while playing dominos and drinking frozé and good brew. Also, whatever playlist they have going is the bomb. Never could I have imagined what could have been done with my great grandparents home when the rumors of turning it into a cozy neighborhood bar surfaced. Once completed it exceeded anything I could have ever dreamt up. The outside can accommodate anyone with any preference including fluffy friends. I bring my children so they can choose and play from a number of outdoor games and puzzles. Plus they can pet and play with all the local neighborhood dogs. And let's talk about the food trucks. I have been many times with different trucks and the food is always AMAZING and it's a great way to try different types of foods. Great for a relaxed night out. This converted house has has a huge outdoor patio space. There's lots of games in the yard area, like a full size version of shuffleboard, as well as ladder toss golf. They have a big screen too for game watches. When we were there, a food truck was serving steaks and turkey legs. Would definitely come back read more
