This morning around 8:45 I was driving southbound on I-75 to get off at the Springwells / Fort street exit in Detroit. There was a Semi truck in front of me. The roads were dangerous due to the snow. One of your bright green truck was riding my bumper and honking at me. I have a handicap license plate because my spouse is disabled from be rear ended. Your driver kept riding my bumper with roads in that condition until I exited the freeway. Then he got over to the lane to the left. He was clearly harassing someone who he thought should not be on the road due to the plate he saw and whatever psychological issues he has. I was keeping pace with the semi in front of me and I was trained to drive by a fire engine operator. Which means I am a far more skilled driver than whoever this male is. This is the first notice. Your drivers need to be spoken to and trained properly. I work in public safety and was en route to a public safety event. If I weren't he would have been in deep today. We will be watching your company. I was not harmed today but next time it will not slide. read more

While the guys inside were nice, that's really the only good thing I have to say about this place. Context: My car broke down & got impounded here while I went to the bathroom while waiting on my own tow truck. After CL police gave me the wrong number I played Find my Car- calling around til Neuner's confirmed they had it. I called in the morning, they gave me a price $275. I asked if I needed to be there with the tow truck, they said that's up to my insurance. I come back at noon with the money & am told 1) I have to be there with the tow truck before they will even accept payment and 2) they don't let "just anyone" onto their lot- they would not allow the towing company serviced through my auto insurance to come retrieve my car. They said I wouldn't know if they'd allow a towing service to come onto the lot until the service actually showed up. I called around & heard nothing but bad about this place. It's a scam lol- they make it so that you have to use THEIR towing service to get your car off the lot. Doesn't matter if you're insured- I spoke to 4 different local tow companies that informed me they're not allowed onto the lot either. NO idea how this is even legal. They wouldn't drag it to the gate for me, wouldn't let me push it out, etc. Noon was my work break, so I came back around 4:15 to pay the $275 + $114 second towing fee, and they tell me it's ALL cash only. You ever hear of cash only for a tow? Why this wasn't mentioned the other 2 times I talked to them, I don't know. So I had to wait until the next day & pay additional storage fees, because even though they're open until 5 they don't release vehicles past 4:30. I also wasn't allowed to see a receipt until AFTER I paid them in full. That's just full stop shady. I feel like the CL police are in on it. I was away from my vehicle for less than 7 minutes & it was impounded as abandoned. There's a reason they pulled it so quickly, there's a reason there weren't any flashing lights. There's a reason I had to figure out where it was myself. $412 later & I still get to pay for my car repairs too. The whole situation was a mess. Do not listen to a word they say over the phone, I was straight lied to. I would've paid any other towing service an extra $100 if I could've, just to avoid giving more money to Neuner's. I am extremely disappointed in this whole fiasco- I'm the victim of my car shitting on me & on top of that stress I had to run around through all these hoops for 3 days just to get my damn car back. Awful. So! If you're ever as unlucky as I was to deal with this place, know that: -You will need to use their towing services to get your car out of their lot, regardless of what they tell you over the phone. -Cash only for everything & they do not give change (the discipline it took to not give them $412 in pennies was absolutely insane), regardless of what they tell you over the phone. -The tow must be ordered, fees paid & everything dealt with by 4:30pm, regardless of what they tell you over the phone. read more

They came to jump start my car after calling AAA. After waiting for 45 minutes, they came. I had a bad starter but the guy insisted it was my battery then tried to sell me a battery. _____ EDIT: The guy that was trying to start my car was using a metal rod to prod the starter (to get the starter to work). The guy KNEW it was the starter that was bad. But he tried to sell me a battery anyway. I had just replaced the starter, apparently with a bad one. I knew what he was doing!! _____ Had I not known better, I would have purchased a battery when I didn't need one. And I would have had to call them AGAIN, when my car wouldn't start because I didn't fix my starter. So this is how they do business? Screw people to keep them calling? Liars. Scammers. I would rate this 0 stars if it was possible, or even negative. My car was fully functional, minus the fender partially down on the tire and the door not closing. By the time it arrived to my house (half an hour after they told triple A that they arrived to the house), the gear would no longer go anywhere but drive. Kevin, the guy who towed the vehicle, almost dropped my car upside down on its top and scuffed up the entire front end of the vehicle, then almost dropped my car completely off the tow bed. He was rude, refused to move the car when we told them that wasn't where it needed to be parked. Left without so much as blinking an eye and did absolutely nothing but mess my car up to a point that we now can't move it and the gear shift (while it moves, will not shift gears). Not only did they ruin my car further, but the manager (Dave), completely disregarded the fact and spoke to us as if we were two and dumb because we are women and obviously they are under the impression that they can do no wrong. Chris, the one who answers the phone for towing, is incredibly rude and almost pushed my mother when we were at the impound lot the first time. He called my mother names on the phone before hanging up on her when we confronted them about lying to AAA. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Now I have a vehicle that won't even run because of something this shady business did to my gear shift and a tire ready to fall off its axle because he kept trying to shake my car off, all of which is recorded. If i could give zero stars i would this is by far the worst company to ever exisit the customer service is a complete joke my car had a flat tire and we waited for 2.5 hours the driver claimed he came to our location to pick up the vehicle and never showed up after calling the company to file a formal complaint i delt with a guy named Chris who was by far one of the worst employee's to ever recieve a pay check he wouldnt let me speak to management or even bother helping me with the issue on top of that we have a surveillance camera right above our vehicle to prove the driver was never here this on top of the fact that they used our AAA service and recived payment for a service they never rendered. I was riding on the freeway with my child in the backseat. I was doing the speed limit. I move out of his way so he can go pass. I guess that wasn't good enough. This company is completely shady. They will come out to tow your car, BREAK your door and then refuse to even dialogue with you on how they plan on resolving things. My husband and I called for a tow through AAA, due to some engine issues with his jeep, and Ryan was the one who completed the job. Upon getting a call from our mechanic, they informed us the door was completely broken and they had observed Ryan "whaling" on the door, to get it to open. The door ultimately would now need to be replaced as the locking mechanism had been completely broken. The door does not shut, the battery stays on, and the car dies. We filed a damage claim with AAA, and they informed us Neuners should call within 24 hours. They never called... and still have never called (almost a month later) to address this issue, despite multiple messages left for manager/owner Matt. This company will damage your car, and refuse to even discuss it with you. Stay away and beware. read more

This company is complete garbage. They gave me a three hour wait time estimate. I called at 1pm and was told they would be there by 4:15pm. I was then told they would call when they were on their way so I could come to my car and meet them. At 3:48 they called to tell me they were on their way and would be there in 10-15 minutes. I told them I would be there in 15 minutes. I arrived fifteen minutes later and they had left. They told me they wouldn't wait for me and had left five minutes ago despite me clearly conveying my time frame. I asked if they could send the truck back and they replied that they had already been paid, closed the account, and wouldn't come back. Do not use Neuner's towing in Center Line for any of your towing or AAA auto service calls. This company is totally incompetent and unapologetic. Here is a summary of my recent experience with Neuner's towing. Wednesday 2/15, my Niece was visiting me in the Lawrence Park apartment complex. While she was parking in front of my building, she noticed a tow truck attaching a wench to my Wheelchair Accessible Van. Out of concern, my niece asked me if I had scheduled any repairs or if my van was being towed to a repair shop. I told her no. So she went back outside to ask the tow truck driver why was he getting ready to tow my Van. The driver from Neuner's stated that he had been dispatched to pick up an abandoned gray van in the Lawrence Park apartment complex parking lot. My niece tried to explain to the driver that my van was not an abandoned vehicle and I had the proper tags to prove it. He would not listen. This driver from Neuner's went so far as to tell my Niece, "Give me $145 and I will take the wench off the van". This tactic to me amounts to Extortion! As a last resort my Niece called Center Line Police. They were finally able to convince the driver from Neuner's of his mistake. Then and only then did he detach the tow truck equipment from my van. This whole incident was very upsetting & stressful. I can only imagine what would've happened if my niece had not visited me that day. My van would have been towed to an Impound Yard. I would have been charged a ridiculous amount of money per day to store my van. And being disabled, I would have been without my only mode of transportation. I wanted a heartfelt apology and some accountability from Neuner's towing so I called the company. Their office manager Audrey expressed no sympathy or concern. She gave me a flat dry apology for their Driver's Incompetence and said I should be grateful that the van wasn't towed. As far as she was concerned the matter was resolved. And that's why I'm writing this review of Newman's towing. My wheelchair lift equipped van is very important to me and I just wanted some semblance of compassion or a kind sympathetic apology for putting me through such an ordeal. I got neither. They could've handled the situation much nicer. Do not patronize Neuner's towing and if you use AAA Road Service, tell them to dispatch a tow truck from a different company. Thank you. read more

As a shop owner, I see a lot of things, but today was as stupid as it gets. The temp. out side is 25, and all the driver has to do is back the vehicle into the shop, but instead of that , he turns the tow truck around, with the customers car in tow, then pulls back up to my shop and now wants cars moved so he can do nothing more than what he could of before he turned around, I should have looked inside the truck, to see if his football helmet was there of if he chewed all of his crayons sharp and was looking for more. I called in to complain that there driver was a bit off, and there dispatcher was a bigger donkey than the driver and said he was going to call the police on me because I was displeased with there service. I had an appointment to have them come and replace my battery first thing in the morning, so I called them to double check if they were still on schedule. I ended up getting into a verbal altercation with someone who turned out to be the owner of the company. For the record, the battery guy was pretty nice when I talked with him to set up the appointment, but the owner was a complete dick. I was able to jump start my car and get it to a dealership near by without their help. read more

Absolutely worst service ever!!! AAA assigned nooners to me to replace my battery. After replacing the battery Instrument Panel Cluster goes blank, when i showed the driver who replaced the battery, he puts the blame back on me by saying it was like that before, and was absolutely rude about the situation. Later he realized he made mistake which made the cluster go blank, he didnt want anything to do with it and left the scene. Called for towing 11/22/14 after hitting a curb and flattening my tires. Driver came out and demanded a police report after assuming I was the one that drove over the median & tore up some grass & knocked down a sign. Repeatedly tried to tell him & the Owner that I didn't do that damage!!! Both very rude, insulting and unprofessional. I am in radio and have and will continue to advise the listeners to stay away! Neuners is an awful towing service. We called to have our car towed and when we called 8 hours later to confirm the time of the tow, they told us there was a 10 mile limit which they never told us (our tow was 12 miles away) and then cancelled our tow without telling us! Never use this company. Rude, horrible customer service and very unprofessional. They are awful. read more
