Was recommended by my tire shop because I needed an alignment for my Jeep . Waited while they did it, took about 1hr or so not bad. Price was decent . They did a good job it seemed but while driving for about a week it seemed to pull to right now not super bad but noticeable. Brought back so they could remedy the problem. Waited while they worked on it, took about 1hr 1/2 . They said everything was in the green and rotated my tires too. Drove it for a while and seems to be good and doesn't pull like it was. Bryan, you keep on saying oh we did the codes that you that you accepted, yes I accepted the three codes that you said were wrong with not showing me the real documentation showing that all the codes on top of you making it seem like you did your job by coming and getting a tow truck that took two hours to put on the bed to the point where I told him it's OK I'll figure it out and then he finally got it on after an hour and scraped my front bumper on top of you giving me a loaner car that honestly, I didn't even feel comfortable having my kids in it and you're failing to realize your repairs caught on fire with three small children in it. I am new to the Reno area and developed a leak on my 2004 Nissan Altima. Not knowing anyone in this area to recommend a repair shop, i searched out repair shops on line and found Nevada Auto care was located close by. I called and spoke to Angela, she said they would diagnose my leak for free. I made an appointment for the next day and when I came in they inspected my car while I waited. Bernie, the shop supervisor, allowed me to look at my car while it was on the rack, turns out the power steering pressure hose was leaking. They replaced the hose and my problem was solved. Took my truck in to get 4WD serviced. Shop had my truck for about two weeks and couldn't figure it out but managed to disable my power steering. Tried to add power steering repairs without my approval first. Had to take my truck to the dealership to now have power steering($$$$) and 4WD repaired. This is the second time this shop has made my car worse. Brought my car in because it was overheating. They replaced my radiator and it overheated again before I got to the end of the street. They replaced my head gaskets and charged me for both repairs without my consent. Don't get fooled by their early availability for diagnostics, even if they can get in same day, avoid this shop at all costs! read more

Have been going here for my smog on my F-250 for 18 years. They have always been nice each year. They have taken care of me every year. They send out a discount flyer each year to make it a little less expensive to me, which is nice seeing that I"m retired. The only reason things took time, was because I said I wasn't in a rush. And honestly , I'm still not. But I know they have a lot of work to do, so I brought my van home. Buyer beware ! this shop puts extra parts in your vehicle and then chargea you for them even if you explicitly tell them you do not want those things done to your vehicle. We are currently in the process of seeking legal action against this shop for putting a water pump in our that we not only did not want but we told them over five times in writing and on recorded audio that we did not want it done. I went there with a diesel smog check coupon for 39.95. My 2011 gmc has 4 wheel drive and traction control. They charged me 52.50 and said that they have to strap the truck front and back because all the wheels turn. I told them that the truck is not full time all wheel drive and the traction control can be turned off with a button. They said we have to treat it like an all wheel drive. I told them I have never been charged for full-time all wheel drive in the past. They said, "Oh really" and charged me 52.50. The smog paper work said full time AWD. Been here twice with 2 separate cars for a diagnostic service each time, and both times I was given pleasant and efficient service. I received a detailed list of the problems that they found plus their quote to repair it. I paid $147 for a failed smog diagnostic and I honestly am not sure if that's a good value or not, but I got what I needed and I went here because I knew I could rely on this shop to give me what I needed in a timely manner. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD BUSINESS !!! I don't usually review but I thought everyone should know my experience before coming to this place. I called in and spoke with a crook name Bernie. They said they would help out and get us out as quick as they can. It was 2.5 months ago. They towed our RV in 2,5 months ago from Reno downtown ( without a transportation license and asked me to pay them 300$ ) to their shop due to a small starter repair. There was no communication last 2.5 months so I drove from La to check what's going on with it due to no communication. When I got here on Saturday I was shocked that rv was staying same way 2.5 months ago. I walked in to the store and asked about my rv. Old guy ( 70 -80 years old ) at the counter started yelling at me. Can you imagine, I drove 10 hours to ask how my rv is doing and when I asked my keys, he said get the fuck out of here. I told him I'm not going anywhere without my keys. Then he pulled a GUN!!! on me and told me to get the fuck out of my shop ! Accused me with trespassing :) I was shocked but I told him I'm not going anywhere without my keys. Finally he pulls out the key from the counter and throws it on the street. After that when I go back to my rv realizing they stole the drive shaft under my rv and told me they will not give it back to me. On top they said they called parking enforcement to move my rv from the street :) I have been trying to find mechanics to take care of the issue. These people are uneducated animals with tools in hand. You can expect anything from these human looking animals. I have my police report and suing them ofcourse. Stay away from this place if you like your rv or auto. I would never even thinking to do any business with these morons. read more

3 days before Thanksgiving, car overheated while I was on the free way. got my car towed to Nevada Auto Diagnostics, since they did a great job on the A/C the last time I took my car there, and they were able to get me back on the road the day after -- even though they were busy! Radiator and battery had to be replaced and they were still able to get the car ready the next day. Oh and amazing customer service, friendly employees :) read more

this place I would not even give it a star. Manager has a bad attitude and disrespectful with his employees and he would do it in front of customers. As I observe being there every Monday inspecting my rv and letting front desk know of what I was doing when my rv was outside.../since manager was alway busy...Feel so sorry for the employees especially front desk, they look like dog with its tail between it legs when they wanted to ask him a question... And as a customer when I told front desk to tells him that I found a problem on rv that wasn't there before , he would go out yelling and trying to change things around and will tell you to come and pickup your rv. I had a melted paint spot and later found out when i inspected somewhere else that my 30 and 50 amp cables were gone... left message to front desk about the paint but not about my cables , since I knew I was screwed by this shop why even bother telling him about the cable.. but I got this on blog with other friends that has Rvs etc to pass this around and be careful about this shop, and if they still decide to go make sure you take pics like I did remove all valuables or take pics of them... and ask what if they have garage insurance if you rv is on shop.... wish they should have.. but just becareful with manager read more

I received a coupon for a smog check here and decided to give them a try. Their smog service is called "Express Smog". I walked in and the mechanic was on the phone telling someone that he was the only mechanic there, his other mechanic left and he doesn't know if or when he's coming back. He also told whoever was on the other line that he can't estimate timeframes since it's just him now until he can get some more mechanics in there. Anyways, he got off the phone, I gave him my coupon and he said it was going to be at least 45 minutes. I was nice, but said, "Oh, really?". And with a ton of attitude he says "Yes, it's just me in here and there's another smog in front of you." I decided to leave and go elsewhere(the smog place next to Moana Nursery) - where it took less than 10 minutes and only cost $4 more. I think I'll stick with them in the future! read more

As far as Smog check places go, I don't have any complaints. I have a Diesel pickup which requires a "special" smog check that only a few places in town can handle. I used to go to the location on Kitzkie and this is the first time I have come down to the new spot off of Airway and Longley. The location is a little out of the way for me but the place itself is much nicer and bigger. They got me in right away and I didn't wait longer than 15 minutes to get everything taken care of. They have a nice waiting room and free calendars in case you're interested. Will be returning next year for my annual smog check. Not sure about their other service but may give that a try as well read more

We set up a date and I showed up, turned out they were booked that day. I showed up 3 different times times to be turned away. Constant back and forth "so and so isn't here" "sorry we are booked up". They finally got to my truck after about two weeks back and forth. Great. Yup they're sticking. They charged me a discounted price for new brakes and rotors. I got them done. (thinking they are finally good to go). Boy was I wrong. I am now 5 months into the second set of brakes and rotors they did, with the same issue. It's now costing me $1,200 to get them done at a different shop. Save your time and money go anywhere else! read more

I went here for a diesel smog on my T1N sprinter. It's surprisingly difficult to find a place in Reno to do diesel smogs...I believe this is one of three in the area. The initial phone call left me feeling a little wary, as it felt rushed and there was no guarantee my smog would get done the same day. However, when I walked in, the guy at the front desk was very helpful and they got the service done within the hour. The rate was the same as other diesel smog prices in the area.
