I went here not because anyone referred me but due to the fact of proximity and after reading some of the reviews. I know you can't please everyone so I always take that into account. My air had stopped blowing cold air and I could not take just rolling down the windows, since I knew it would be getting hotter real fast. However after talking with Thomas, who gave me a run down on what my car needed Per him my air conditioning didn't just need a charge, I needed an entire Air Compressor Kit and processed to quote me an crazy amount, plus other issues he had found that needed to be taken care of. I told him I would talk it over with my husband and get back to him. The next day, I came back to fix a passenger side axle, since that was more important at the moment, however Thomas is not there on this day now I have someone else in my face fast talking, thinking he got a stupid woman in his view and he's coming up with more things that need fixing, now I'm getting upset because he really thinks he got me on the hook, I processed to tell him please just fix what I came here for, so I can be on my way. He asked if I wanted to take care of the Air Compressor Kit, I said No, my husband found another place that will do it for $500 cheaper than you and he said with taking a beat, I'll match that price. wow really, I bet you would. I gave them 3 stars, due to the fact, since I would not allow them to fix anything else, my appt was for 8:30am, they did not finish my car until almost 12pm, I kept getting the run around I personally didn't feel like these men were on the up and up, their fast talking seems very suspicious and sketchy. The girl in the front is extremely rude and will not accept when she is wrong. I came in with a coupon coupon and showed the coupon. I was a referral from the DMV service operator. Later on when checking out, the girl wouldn't give me the coupon price and said I did not show her the coupon. I don't really care about the small price differential but the the girl called me a liar. On the other hand, my car did not pass due to the battery dying the day before. The manager Tomas was super nice about it and explained what I needed to do. If it wasn't for him being super nice I would really say this was a terrible experience. Girl needs to learn manners. I usually go to the ez smog drive through but saw this place was cheaper. I read the reviews and saw a hilarious one from a Karen that said all of the mechanics had tattoo sleeves and that no one should go there. Let me tell you that review is what made me go. We walked in and it was a big empty room but we found our way to the check in desk and waiting room. Check in was fast. We waited about 20 minutes for the car to be done. And guess what. A guy with tattooed sleeves did my smog! I learned his name was Tomas. He was the sweetest man. He was sure to tell me what needed work on my car too. He goes above and beyond. I really don't see why this place has such low stars. I will be back. The front desk lady, Gloria, was also really cool and cracking jokes. This is an auto shop. I went in for a smog, they did it (good, great). I asked about fixing my wheel studs. Guy said I'll do 2 for 150$, so I said ok that's fine. They call me 1 hr later saying they couldn't do it, they have to do the spindle and all that and said to come back tomorrow morning. I told him I could come back Monday or Tuesday so he said alright. Came back and they did the job anyways. I didn't say yes do it. I said I'll come back and do they up charged me a whole whopping 200$. I don't like that. Go to literally ANY other USA Auto. I came here bc I had an oil leak and it completely destroyed my engine. I spoke to Thomas THE MANAGER to get the issue fixed, and was promised the work would be done by the end of the day. I told them the work NEEDS to be done by the end of day bc I live in Phoenix and have work in the morning. He said no problem we can do that. Then he communicated with his employees they were good to keep it over night. On top of this the man THOMAS also told his employees I authorized them to fix my valve cover. I did not. This is a $400+ fix I do not have or plan for. I have nothing nice to say him at this point. Because HE THE MANAGER didn't know how to communicate properly and lied to not only me but his employees I was forced to get a hotel room and call out of work the next day. I called them and told them about it because none of those two problem were there when I got there. When I left the problems started. Went in today for a simple smog check. While it did pass, they told us some news that floored us. Said we had not one drop of coolant in the radiator, and that the radiator hose was bulging. Would be happy to fix it as they could finance us. I was puzzled as my husband checks our autos on a regular basis. We stopped at a store on the way home and bought our groceries as well as a bottle of coolant. After removing the radiator cap, the coolant was normal! As well as the hose that was perfectly normal. Brought my car in for an oil change 2/28. All was fine, they said I needed to replace my front axels and gave me a quote. It was a good quote so I decided to bring it in the following Monday 3/7. They called me after my car was up on the lift and said that the quote was for 1 axel and only one was bad so I said ok fix it. They got it done and I picked up my car and parked it. The next morning when I headed out for work at 4am the under engine cover /shield fell off while I was on the 15 and peeled back a metal shield dragging it on the road. So I had to get off the freeway and park it. I got a ride to work and after work I brought the car back to USA auto. The mechanic heard me coming and came out. So they fixed the metal shield and told me they would order a new under cover being they didn't put it back correctly and they will call me when it comes in. That was 3/8, the following Monday I called to check up and they said it hasn't come in and we'll call you. So I figured if I was paying for the parts they would be there the same day but now it's April already and I haven't received any calls from them. I just went out today and bought the undercover myself and installed it myself. All I can say is they promised to fix it and they blew me off. Do not take your vehicle here! I came in with a stuck clutch pedal. I specifically asked for them only to replace my master cylinder, the manager Mike agreed to do the work. He called later saying that the master cylinder was not the problem and I needed $1,600 of additional clutch work done.  I told them no and to put it back together and let me deal with it. They continued to try to talk me into the $1,600 additional clutch job. The next thing I know my truck is up on the lift again. They had broken a part. I knew it was not broken before because the clutch would have gone to the floor and sprayed fluid instead of being stiff. $463.40 and several days later I was driving home with a non-working clutch (I had to turn off the engine every time I put it in 1st) to make the long trek back to Colorado. I've filed complaints to both the BBB and NV AG's office. Mike is a grifter and after I caught him trying to take advantage of me, his ego made him try even harder to best me. Even if you are a good mechanic like me, he will still try and take advantage of you. Don't bother with this place. Find someplace honest, instead. I wish I had.
