This is how Logan 'fixed' my shutter.  It's fully down...he just doesn't care.  Only after money.

I've had my shutters for about 10 years now. They are not the problem....the lack of customer service is. If something goes wrong, good luck! They will try to squeeze every nickel out of you they can. First time I realized this was when the switch failed on the shutter on my bedroom window. It got stuck in the down position a few years back. They did not put an emergency crank in (this is a fire hazard, and against code to not have one in a room with a closet, btw) I remember speaking to Logan back then who was trying to blame me for their faulty part. He wanted several hundred dollars for a new switch, plus service call and hourly fee to fix it. He was very arrogant, so I decided to just have my electrician friend get it back up, which he did. Fast forward to now. I accidentally closed my patio door shutter on my umbrella and it jammed. My mistake, yes. So I called again...and guess who shows up...Logan. Great. The vibe was weird as soon as he arrived....maybe he had notes from our last conversation...but was very cold and unfriendly. After he 'fixed' my jammed shutter, he leaves it absolutely useless as a security device with a 6" gap at the bottom. I mentioned that anyone can come and just lift it up...he just shrugged his shoulders and said "Yep, basically". His arrogance is off the charts. He removed 5 slats and just left it like that, without attempting to put them back, saying they were too bent to repair and that new slats would cost me $1,500. After he previously told me new slats wouldn't fit my shutters? Huh? Just a ploy to get more money out of me...or pure laziness. But I suspect he just wanted more money without a care in the world he just rendered my shutter useless. I literally fixed those 5 slats myself after he left. A slightly bent lip that took no time to straighten out on one slat. They now just have to be reattached at the top, which again, my trusted electrician friend to the rescue. He charged the $125 fee, plus another $75 for 5 metal pieces that cost about $3.00. So, I paid him $200 to mess up my shutter..lol. Then when I asked about paying with credit card, he said they add an additional 5% fee for credit cards. Wow. I paid cash. No words at this point..just keeps getting worse with this company. I will no longer be calling them should any other problems arise. I suspect most of these positive reviews are fake.

We got our shutters done in 2017 and so far there have been no issues! We got our entire house done and it's perfect for keeping the house cool during the summer. Keeps our electric bill at a low cost! After the installation, my technician, Kyle showed me how to operate the remotes; and how to manually open the shutters. Wonderful investment and perfect for privacy as well. I'm also very happy that I was able to use a local small business at that!

Rounding out the veritable wave of security upgrades added to our North Las Vegas home, we recently had five rolling shutters installed to cover windows and sliding glass doors at the back of our house. Now, besides an electronic home burglar alarm system and an iron fence enclosing the rear of the property with double-sided deadbolt keylocks, and front door and side windows protected by 3M Window Film and stainless steel wire mesh window screens, we have an added layer of protection in the form of almost impenetrable metal shutters that lock down at their base. Besides feeling more secure when inside or away from our Vegas valley home, the sleek beige shutters have added a nice aesthetic improvement to our property, besides keeping out dust and reducing outside sounds. The shutters are easily and smoothly maneuvered through power switches, and also have a manual override feature in the event of a power outage. The company followed through on everything its agents promised; installation was timely and took place without a hitch; and the shutters look and work great! Besides having increased peace of mind following a slew of burglaries inside the guard-gated complex in which we reside, Diane and I are very pleased with the quality and functionality of the purchased shutters. Now that many other residents within the community have also installed security upgrades to their property, reported burglaries and attempted break-ins within the walls of the community have noticeably greatly diminished in number. With the help of Nevada Rolling Shutter and our other security product vendors, we have certainly done our part to make our home less of an inviting target!

This has been an okay, yet a little disappointing experience with positive resolve in the end…read more Having seen the other reviews on this company, I had higher expectations that things would be customer focused and efficient. I called on a Friday night close to closing time to see if I could schedule with them to get an estimate on some window solar screens. Ben wound up calling me back to let me know he can come by on Monday morning to get me an estimate. He came on time at 9am to get measurements and provided me a quote thereafter. That initial meeting was the only pleasant part of this experience because the communication after I made the half payment was horrid. Ben mentioned that he would be in another country on a trip the following day after the estimate was provided, but let me know that in two weeks the product will be ready and installed. Two weeks passed and I never received any follow up regarding our install. I also never received the digital receipt and invoice I was told I would get for the payment I made so I made sure to keep the text confirmation to him directly along with my payment detail on my end. I followed up with the company and called three times to speak with someone regarding my installation and product. I received no call back all day and called again the day after. This was when two weeks had already passed. I texted them on their business text line thereafter when I received no follow up. I had to text them twice for me to hear back from Juan (JD) who explained that he was in charge of things while Ben was out of the office in Indonesia. When I expressed my frustration with the fact that no one has contacted me regarding the product and installation, he said "do you want me to help you out or not?" That response was incredibly not empathetic because I was expressing my frustration that it took me asking them 5 different times regarding the service to get any feedback. He connected me with Caesar who was the one doing the installation. Caesar contacted me saying that he would be at my house Thursday to do the install. Thursday, he calls me again to say the product will be in after 330pm so he will have to move the installation to Friday. Caesar said he would be at my home by 9am, but no communication at all till after I called and texted after 910am to receive a text from him saying he will be 30 minutes late. Despite the lapse in communication, Caesar and Miguel both made the ending result of this experience better. They were both polite and took their time to make sure everything was aligned. Both of them deserve 5 stars alone. Aside Caesar and Miguel, communication has honestly been quite bad with this company and the way it was handled when I followed up was quite rude and lacked empathy for the frustration. No client should ideally have to contact the company various times to be acknowledged for the job to follow through. Price for everything was fair, I just wished the customer service was better. Currently, still waiting for an invoice record since the company has not provided that after I tried to call again multiple times to make final payment. I know with travel and everything factored that it wasn't all one person's fault for the horrible communication, but the service just wasn't what I expected because Ben seemed to really care when I met him for the initial estimate. I understand delays, but I had to re-explain the project to Juan (JD) and Caesar because Juan (JD) didn't even know who I was and addressed me as another client named Camila. The whole process after initial estimate was a headache because the staff wasn't prepared and had I not called or texted to follow up multiple times, my project would have been even more delayed. Juan made "promises," he didn't intend to keep because Gina from the office line called saying he never intended to send over the invoice today and that Ben would be the one sending over my warranty and invoice info. Not a great impression of the company as a whole and I am still waiting for the invoice and warranty details. In the end, however, I have to say Ben is trustworthy for his product quality and escalation service. He contacted me as soon as he touched down and provided me with what his staff could not. I know things fell in the communication pipeline when he was away, but I appreciated his urgency to fix the issue.
