AmSec sent me a replacement keypad after 3 calls. The replacement is also dead out of the box. AmSec says to call the dealer and the dealer says call AmSec. 3 months later and Nevada Safe won't do anything other than offer a $129 service call to look at it. Customer service seems lacking. Having recently moved to the area from across the country I had to leave my previous item behind. I looked locally at big box stores and despite decent prices, the products were too small and mass produced in China with lesser stats. I checked sporting goods stores which had better quality but MSRP all the way, plus delivery and installation were on you. Good old Google recommended Nevada Safes so I gave it a shot Looked at the website and gave them a call. I spoke with Robbie. He invited me to come into the store and get a hands-on look at the products I was considering. I wasn't able to get free during shop hours so he personally sent me pictures he took himself of the product I had narrowed it down to so I could get a better look. A miscommunication got me a lower quote than what it should have been (I added options). After talking to the manager Robbie said that as it was a mistake on his part, they would honor the price given. This was BEFORE he contacted me He realized what he did, resolved it in my favor, and all before even telling me there was an issue. NOTE: the product was priced significantly below MSRP already which I wasn't expecting from a local shop. I opted for delivery and install since I'm new to the area and currently am limited on friends with the backs for this type of thing. Yes, this was an additional charge, but even after that I was still under MSRP. They showed up with my product discreetly wrapped, had it installed exactly where I wanted it, took the time to level it perfectly (he was very picky that it should be perfectly level which was great) and installed it. Despite ensuring everything was perfect to the Nth degree, the crew (3 men) were still quick and very polite. The gentleman went through everything I needed to know, even the paperwork that came with it. I got a quality American made product for a great price and kept the money local. Now that this is home, that is very important to me. I'd rather help put food on my neighbor's table. And I didn't have to pay extra (or even MSRP) to do so. Is you ever have a safe that's in need of repair, the staff at Nevada Safes are great! Initial contact by phone, they do have a service call fee to come to your home or business. Set an appointment, then the day before they called to give a smaller service window. Everything by phone went smoothly and the staff was very nice. The office even made sure to give me the manufacturer phone number to ensure whether or not the issue would be covered by warranty. The day of the service call, the crew arrived a few minutes early, and on the early side of the service window - perfect!!! The work was performed, a thorough testing and explanation was given. If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would. We paid $1105 for the safe to be moved professionally from Nevada to Indiana and Nevada Safes hired or out-sourced the job (which means to purchase (goods) or subcontract (services) from an outside company) to Estes Freight - and in the moving process they destroyed this $11,000 safe that has a better paint job then any race car out there. The safe also had sentimental value which is also destroyed. Below are pictures of before and after. I have spoken with the company and they have only offered a "sorry" ...after WE got a representative from Pendleton to assess the damage stating that the deep scratches were beyond repair. I spoke with Nevada Safes and they verbally stated that "they no longer work with Estes because of similar issues" and still denied their responsibility for the damaged safe. Bottom line is : I hired Nevada Safes to do the job and the "job" destroyed our safe. read more

I don't know much about this stuff, but came here with my husband because he was looking for a safe. We didn't want to be those people, but we walked in 45 minutes before they closed. At least it wasn't like 10 minutes before they closed, right? 5 minutes earlier, we were at The Safe Keeper, but the guy there didn't seem too thrilled about his job or about helping us. So we decided to stop here since it was in the same area. Marc was awesome! He greeted us as soon as we walked in and spent the entire time with us before they closed. Hi I'm a returning customer, I went to buy 2 safes for me and my friend, we went to the store on Charleston, as six months ago I bought one there already. After half an hour of choosing safes, we made up our minds and decided to buy 2 safes for a total amount of almost 9K and specifically went to buy the ones made in USA, it really was important to us! One of the safes was listed for $5999.00 it's a Liberty Safe model Classic Plus 40 and the second one was another Liberty Safe Colonial 23, listed at $2750. Normally, we tried to negotiate the price, which we all know in US is something normal taking into account we are returning customers with potential spend of 12k in less than 6 months. The salesman was standing his ground and did not give us any discount, not even free delivery for any of the safes(remember this is important information here) he agreed to waive only the bolt down fee for one of them (the other we did not need it to be bolted down) after 2-4 minutes of back and forth we still said ok, we will go for it. Once we got to payment, the salesman asked how we gonna pay? Credit card was the answer probably 90% of customer would say, we are no exception - at which he said that there will be a 1.9% fee on top of it, at this point we just left the store due to the poor customer service, we literally felt like someone was trying to take advantage of us, and below you can see why. Here is the irony to all this, after leaving the store, I went to their website and: 1. It offers 10% just for signing up with your email 2. The price for the colonial 23 on their website is $2499 and not $2750 3. There is no 1.9% fee if you check out with credit card. 4. The Classic Plus 40 was on special and it already included the TAXES (which the salesman said we would still need to pay) it included FREE DELIVERY and FREE BOLT-DOWN. So we were almost scammed to pay for taxes and a service that was already included in the advertised price, this is despicable business practice to me. I do understand the salesman has to fight and struggle for the business, but poor judgment here just made him lose sales and potentially returning customers for another safes. If I would be the guy running this shop I would definitely like to sit down and talk to the salesman concerning what happened. read more
