They came out showing me a sample of an Anlin window. I was very impressed not only with the product but also the installer. The warranty with Anlin is far better than Anderson. The quote came in at less than half of what Anderson quoted. Sold! The windows were installed by a great & efficent team of Jacob, Isaac, Chris, Angel and another whose name I cannot recall. They even stopped by my office instead of my home to complete the documents we needed. The real reason I'm writing this review, though, is because of the customer service after the sale: About a year after my installation, the window frames that are exposed to the brutal Nevada sun started to yellow. I called Window World, and even though it had been a year, they immediately offered to make it right. They sent out a representative named Alex (I hope I'm remembering his name correctly, kind gentleman in a truck and ties is hair back) and he was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain what had happened and walked me through a few different solutions. We decided to have the frames repainted with a specialty paint designed for the issue and within just a few days, a painter was at my house completing the work. The painter was also great. The only hiccup was that while removing my screen door, one of the handles came off without either of us noticing. There were also a few small spots of white paint left behind on my walls. I called Window World, explained the situation, and they immediately sent Alex back out. Once again, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. He looked over my concerns and assured me they'd be fixed. Then he noticed that my screen had been absolutely destroyed by my dogs. I never even asked about it but he volunteered to replace the screen on the spot. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. I had other businesses look at my door and they all wanted to replace the entire door. Lee came out to look at it and said he could fix it without replacing the entire door. All it needed was new rollers and a lock. He told me it would slide like brand new and he had a lock on his truck that would fit it. Lee told me how much it would cost and I was happy with the price so I told him to go ahead and fix it. He installed the lock the rollers and now it's like a brand new door and it saved me about $2500 this company is very reputable and I would recommend it to anyone.

As this was our first experience searching for window replacement services, we didn't quite know what to expect. Universal Windows Direct of Las Vegas was the first company to stop by our residence. It was a same day appointment. As soon as we called in, a team member arrived at our house in the evening. We informed the team member about several of our windows and the crack in one of the panes. After inspecting the windows, he had taken all the necessary measurements. From there, we went down to discuss quotes. A example window replacement was provided. He had mentioned it would be better to replace all of the windows in the house to match since the new design would look completely different from the builder grade windows we have now. After informing the team member that we were really just looking into the 3 windows in the upstairs bedrooms, the team member provided the quote. Due to pricing and the difference in the window compared to the current windows in the house, we decided not to move forward with Universal Windows Direct of Las Vegas.

Also said our hinges were not security hinges and could pull out the pin; yet he could not because they are security hinges with a center lock. He then said 9k and $8,250 for French doors - insanity!!! He also tried to sell the 9k door first like it was all they had then when we brought up the other brand they sold he said - yes they are a bit cheaper. Could care less about discussing anything except prices and going on and on and on about how they are the best and all other companies are terrible. Brought in sales material - when we commented that he appeared to be a bit high he was offended. He then began to leave and made a smart comment on his way out "Call Anderson see how much they cost, good luck."

This review is long overdue…read more. We selected Master Craftsmen after getting quotes and estimates from several companies.. some cheaper and some considerably more expensive. What we learned during our meeting with Master Craftsmen we used as leverage with the other companies. What we found is that many didn't use proper installation methods, they skipped corners to save you a couple bucks.. After a year, we are still very happy with our purchase. (FYI we replaced every window and door in our home)
